He hadn't taken the time to figure out how the bombs can be manipulated through the grid. You have to move an adjacent icon into the bomb to "push" it towards where you want it. I'm enjoying the game so far.

This is one of my favorite game series. I thought they had perfected it as well as possible with #10 but, then, they just couldn't leave well enough alone. I like the obstacle bar and the block game. I was really disappointed to lose the solitaire side game and I cannot for the life of me figure out what anyone sees in the overly-simple mahjong game. I felt that the level of challenge in the main game was dropped quite a bit but I'm sure that was appreciated by a lot of players. I, too, was using the hint button a lot more with the last few editions. Just my 2¢ worth.

I've been a member here for 20 years, yet, this is the only game series I've deemed fit for a full 5 stars. Yes, it could have been longer and it could have added a few more new features, but I'm grading it on the fact that it's so refreshingly different than the usual genre here. You don't have to have the reflexes of a Jedi to play but you do have to use your brain cells. I wish more developers would jump onto this wagon. The entire series has been completely bug-free for me and that's saying something.

I'd given up on ever getting another game in this series. I'd even quit BigFish because I was so bored with the games offered. I'm b-a-a-ck! Excellent game for all ages. If they offered further games in the series every week; I would buy it!

I'm about 2/3 of the way through the game and, as an older player who hates frenzied click-fests, I'm very pleased with it. I'm playing in the middle mode which is still timed but more relaxed and have made gold in all but 2 levels. The game has just the right level of challenge for me, having to do about 60% of the levels over while rethinking my strategy. I recommend the game but I'm not sure I'd spend the extra money for the CE. I'm playing it on another site that doesn't charge extra for those.

Jewel Match games are always great and relaxing playing. I didn't last long in timed mode so switched back to my old easy-does-it mode. I like it that there is still a good challenge without having to get all stressed out about it. This one lost a star because I didn't care much for the bonus games......repetitive and rather boring. This game will give you, not hours, but days of playing time.

At first I thought I was going to love this game as much as Adelantado. There was so much to do! I loved that there were 4 different modes, also, since I love a challenge but cannot keep up with the faster paced modes. This all lasted til somewhere around level 10. Suddenly, I couldn't come close to finishing even in easy mode. I simply couldn't figure out a strategy in all the mess on the board. Without the forum or a strategy guide, I was lost and extremely frustrated. After 20 years; I'm about done with Big Fish.
I've been playing match 3 games here on Big Fish for about 20 years. This is going on my Top 5 List. Great graphics, funny story line, 3 levels of challenge, and side challenges that, for once, are just as fun as the match 3 game. I'll be coming back to this game again and again.

Pros
I was so grateful to finally see a game which let you play in untimed mode but, also, gave you the option of a harder challenge. Just because some of us can't play that fast doesn't mean we want it easy-peasy. I found the match 3 levels to be both lightly challenging and quite addictive.
Cons
The storyline is a snooze-fest. Kids as well as beginners may enjoy it, though. The mechanics of the game are quite slow for this day and age. Constant loading and information screens that are just not welcome or needed. How I stack up to other players (I suspect they aren't even real) is of no concern to me. Trophies are handed out left and right during the game to the point that there isn't any challenge there at all.
The match 3 levels will keep me interested enough to finish the game but I'm glad I bought it with a bonus credit.
