Great cartoon graphics, pleasant music, relevant & effective sound effects, no frantic clicking, and effective planning made this game a buy. The first few levels were easy and didn't require the strategy needed in the later levels. Had to replay levels to get 3 stars. Finishing the whole game with 3 stars opened an Expert mode. The storyline was fresh and fun. I really appreciated the mouse-sweeping to collect items.
I recommend this game!

Soft country guitar and banjo music, fairly accurate graphics, great navigation, and relaxing game play were a plus. No timer, hints regenerate, and easy exit strategies let you move in and out of play. Players generate coins by solving HO puzzles, selling products, and completing mini-games. No glitches and I completed the game. I didn't enjoy any of the mini-games and had to buy my way out. Thanks to the forum, I found out that by setting product prices on "white" I sold more and made more coins. The game directions didn't make this very clear to me. The farm upgrades took forever and the mini-games were too frequent and set me back. The dialogues were really tedious but there was a Skip button. Finding gems opens new HO locations but once they're all open, it's pretty ho-hum. Overall, it's OK and relaxing for a bargain-of-the-day but not very challenging. Definitely for HO fans who are tired of doom, gloom, and desperation.

Bought and played the whole game. Terrific animation, soothing music, and a very clear mythical-type storyline. Most of the art was beautifully done, but the HO mini-games were difficult. Some of the puzzle mini-games were too time consuming. The mini-games provided items needed for the story-game. I played in casual mode so it was very relaxed. I appreciated the unlimited hint and skip options on a timer. Azada Ancient Mysteries left me high and dry by the last mini-game. The map worked very well. It would be very useful in the other modes. I didn't use the diary that much. The pet was a cute extra. My only negative was that I couldn't replay the mini-games after the story-game finished. I may replay just to try the mini-games again. A:AM had the mini-game replay after the story-game.

The graphics are cute, good quality sound, didn't find any glitches so far, but game play is slow. It's not really a game in the classic BFG sense. I found this game to be similar to many of the games on social media. Boring. Designed to encourage people to spend money. I prefer games with some movement, brain usage, and challenge. Definitely worth a try. I'll probably check in with it once in awhile. I recommend it with reservations.
I recommend this game!

The puzzles are great, graphics cute, music annoying, and timing a bit too challenging. Changing the direction of the arrows was awful. Maybe it's my system or me. I had such a difficult time I timed out more often than not.

I bought this in 2008 and played slow, fast, and whenever I needed a good laugh. I agree with the other reviewers regarding the graphics, music, storyline, and game play. You can replay any world anytime to save all the sheep. Cute and funny. Very addictive. Wish it were longer or had a sequel. But, I just played it again and it was still fun and challenging. I had forgotten all the strategies so it was almost brand new. You can speed up the sheep if you want a faster challenge. I highly recommend that the developers create a sequel.
I recommend this game!

Bought this game because the first hour was great. Graphics are beautiful. The developers put a lot of time into the characters and artwork. The music is very pleasant. Game play, however, gets to be annoying at best. The bottom entry point for the bugs did not work as the game progressed in complexity. Of course, that's where the enemy bugs entered and I couldn't do anything about it. I changed to the lower resolution option but then I could hardly see what was going on. I watched the nectar counts and they do not add up. Higher level bugs on your side do not perform the same as the same level for the other side. Overall, I'm sorry I bought it. The first hour and beautiful graphics fooled me.
I don't recommend this game.

Thanks to the other reviewers, I tried the free hour and had to buy it. Snored through the first Weather Lord free trial. I'm close to the end and have played for quite a few hours. More strategy and planning than most builder-tm games. No glitches !!! Graphics are Middle Earth-ish. Appealing but not too-too cute. Music upbeat and pleasant. Sound effects are relevant and support game play. Each level has a storyline consistent with the goals. You can play with or without hints from the Options menu. You can mute music and sound effects but, for a change, I didn't need to mute anything. Gameplay requires strategic selection and placement of a house, forge, mill, and weapon towers built with wood, food, and gold. I found that the weapon tower types and locations mattered. All building and resources are explained from the main menu. There are workers and warriors. This cuts down on frantic clicking. Resources can be renewed with the sun and rain cloud. Very re-playable. I'll probably go back and play it again in the future under a new name. My only suggestion to the developers would be to include an endless mode.
I recommend this game!

Tried this a long time ago and kept passing it over for other games. Had a punch so I bought this. All in all, it's a pretty standard restaurant TM game. Visuals are cartoons. Acceptable but not outstanding. Music is tolerable but the ding when an item is ready gets annoying. I found the customer comments got annoying after awhile too. You can change volumes in the options section. You're supposed to pick up tips from the tables but I'm too busy making items to pick them up so I lose a lot of money. Money lets you finish sooner and get gold. A problem for me. You need to hire employees which is part of the strategy. Sometimes if you spend too much money on employees you can't finish on time. If you don't hire enough, your prep times get too slow. There are a number of food items to be offered but sometimes no one orders a group of items at all. I usually make everything anyways. It's very easy to get through a level but very difficult to make gold. On the technical side, I haven't had any glitches. But, my mouse seems to be really slow in this game and I lose it every once in awhile. I checked my mouse settings and they work on other games so I'm not sure about this. Someone else might have this problem. Or not. I think it's a good game but not great.
I recommend this game!

Graphics - very nice and not so cute to be unreal. I liked the music - Asian easy listening. Storyline was fine and consistent with goals. Naming your restaurants was fun. I had no glitches or technical errors with Windows 7. The only challenge was remembering each sushi dish and buying ingredients. If you make a mistake you lose the dish and the ingredients which cost money and time. The further into the game, the more complicated the dishes. And, each dish requires more ingredients. That requires more buying. I didn't find it to be all that interesting and would have liked an endless play level or at least an un-timed level. A look at recipes before each level would have been nice too --- unless there was a way I didn't find. I usually finished the upgrades halfway into the restaurant. OK for a rainy afternoon but I wouldn't plan on any excitement.
I recommend this game!
