At first I liked this game, and it was fun. However, when you got to the difficult puzzles you could not use the skip button. I tried to get through the maze several times, but continually got stopped after only three moves. I had to quit the game because I became tired and frustrated that I could not move on .Elephant, your games are usually good, but not this one, Even though I have played games for several years, I still play in the custom mode, whenever possible. These difficult puzzles are not casual, but very hard to figure out.
Where other players say this game is easy, in parts it is. But basically, I will not be able to finish the game because of the
difficult puzzles I cannot solve. Why you cannot use the skip button is beyond me.

This game was a nice one. After playing once or twice, I did not have to use the hint button very much. None of the games I play are for fun. They are time killers. I have not played a really fun game for some time. So, I try different games and get the ones I think will be okay. Yes, I have been disappointed, many times. However, this game is worthy to play, again.
I recommend this game!

The game itself was okay. But, there were not many explanations for some of the puzzles. I had to use the hint button more than I like to. Plus, since this game was SUPPOSED to be about an animal shelter, it was more about the volcano. Leave out the volcano and concentrate more on the animals, themselves.

I was going to give this game a five. But, the longer I played, the more I needed I like mystery games, that is, until you are thrown in so many different directions you forget
what or why you are even playing. I play in the casual mode, yet, I still have problems with the "so-called easy mini-games".
You do not get instructions on some of the mini-games, and have to figure them out yourself. I have yet to see a game where you can play straight through without difficult puzzles,
The graphics are pretty, and you can play some of the mini-games without too much trouble. So, overall, even with puzzles I cannot solve without help, I give this game 3

At first the game was going fine, However, the further I got the harder it became. The mini games have no explanation and you are going back and forth, forever, The game got so bad, I couldn't finish it.

This would be a really great game if the puzzles were less complicated. Some puzzles didn't even have explanations, so you had to figure them out for yourself. I have played BF games for years, yet I still play in the easier modes. My comprehension is bad so I need explanations in order to play. Even then some of the puzzles are hard to understand. I tried to play the CE edition but spent most of that time either trying to find objects in a puzzle, or, trying to figure out the instructions. I only recommend this game because there are a lot of people smarter than me who won't have trouble with this CE.

I have only played the trial version of this game, but was disappointed that there wasn't more playing time. An hour is too short for the time it takes to play the HOPS. Because the game is dark, it takes awhile to find the items you need. From what I did play I am thinking about getting this game. But, I will wait until games are on sale.
I recommend this game!

I have two of Vendel games and they are really good games. But this one, Cursed Castle, is terrible. The visual affects.in the Hops are hard to see. There are Way To Many rooms to try to remember. And, there are too many back and forth moves to figure out. The game started out okay; but the further I got into the game the more complicated it became..

I have both of the Secrets of Great Queens and found the same problem in both. The game starts easy enough, then you are interrupted by challenging puzzles. I could work three of them and had to skip the others. Also, why do you have to pick up an item, then go backwards two or three times to place it. While I am not the smartest person on the block, I am not the dumbest on the block, either. I have a comprehension problem, so some of the puzzles really do not make any sense to me. The games are great on graphics and you can find what you need to.
I recommend this game!

When games are reviewed as easy, generally they soon get hard. That was this game. It started out easy enough, but the further you got in the game it soon became harder. I have had to skip several puzzles because I did not understand them. While I am not a genius, I am not brain dead, either. I just have problems with comprehension. I started the game over, even though I did not finish it the first time. But, I am using the hint button at almost every turn. If I ever get this game done, it will be a minor miracle.
I don't recommend this game.
