This game was just outstanding!
The graphics are well done. The scenery is very well thought out.The voices are appropriate for the characters that they have. The "reunion scenes" are quite interesting. I like how they did those with a hint of "magic".
There are so many things to do in this game. It is not the same "pick it up and use it immediately" type of game. Many of the items that are picked up are not used for a long time. The inventory can become quite full before items are used.
There are a lot of different type of puzzles here and lots of HOG.
There are 27 portraits to find. Several of them give you items that you need in other places.
There is a map that lets you transport to different areas. This saves a lot of time walking to and fro, unless you like to do that. It is also good when you are tired and don't want to think. It highlights areas that have things you need to do. This is great when you can remember what the item is used with, but not which room the item is in!
There are 36 "morphing" items that you can find. (I never seem to look hard enough to find them all!)
The game itself offered more time value than I have seen in quite some time. The CE version blew me away with how many extras you got to do! It was a nice, long chapter. I am please by that as I don't really get into the graphic designs, wall papers, etc. I'll never use those. The extended game play is what I am about.
I always play on intermediate or hard. If I recall correctly, you only had the choice of expert or beginner. I went for the expert. It made it more challenging and that was bang on!
This is definitely a game I will play again in the future!

Returning to Azada, we again get the beautiful graphics. I play with the sound off mostly, so I'm not a key contributor for assessing these. The bit I listened to was decent.
Like the first, this game is filled with many books in which we are helping right the troubles the characters have endured. We need to, in essence, be a Sherlock Holmes and discover "whodunnit"!
The games are fun and generally quite easy to solve. I did have trouble with the "Secret Garden". I could not solve it. I looked at the cheat and discovered there was a glitch in the game. I restarted that book and it all went well. (glitch: The apple that was supposed to be there wasn't!)
I enjoy these games as there is an absence of hidden objects. I enjoy the adventure/HOG games, but it's nice to have a slightly different genre to play. The games/books are compartmentalized, so it is easy to leave the game and return to do the next book. I have found that I have become to like stories that link more together than these do. There is an "end game" but that is about as much as I found linked them together. It is nice to do tasks that are not "the same old, same old"! These are not the games usually seen on the HOG games. It was also a nice addition to have the "pages completed" on the right hand corner when they were done as sometimes, the littlest thing may have been missed by the otherwise keen eye. If it said you were done, you knew you could move on. If not, you may find yourself looking a little harder!
The game is smooth and enjoyable. You can go at a timed pace, or just sit back and enjoy all of the features of the game.
It was a great little treasure to play on a late night.

This was a very excellent game. Epix games created a wonderful world for us to get lost in. The screen shots were rich and the music added to the ambiance. When they recommend playing with the sound on, it is for very good reason. The flow of the game smooth.
There was a wide variety of mini games to play. They did not require cheats or hints to be able to complete them. Some took a bit of thinking, but that was a natural flow from a game well developed.
The HOG were good, but I found the colors muted in such a way that it made it difficult to see some of the objects. Perhaps my screen is too small as I play on a laptop, but I note other have suffered the same fate.
It was not a gory, demonic game like many of these adventure games are. This was a refreshing change.
I look forward to the next chapter in this adventure!
The storyline has been well described by others, so I'll skip that.
This was a great game. I enjoyed the options of the levels that we could chose from, and even to pick a custom one if we wanted to make it! There were many achievements you could attain. I wish I had read everything before beginning the game so I would not have missed getting them all.
The graphics were excellent, rich and vivid. The sound was good, but I find I can never look at the character's lips as they never seem to match up with the words exactly.
The interactions were very fun. You would sometimes use an object more than once, or you may have to do something with the object before you can use it. There are, at times, objects you hold onto for a fair while before you use them. I love this mix. I don't like to always pick something up and immediately use it. The variety is so much more interesting!
The HOGs were not our standard HOGs. They would sometimes give comments or statements and you would have to figure out what oject(s) to find. Isn't variety the spice of (game) life!
I like the switch in the CE from playing one character to the next. I had avoided buying CE additions as most of the ones I have bought I did not feel doubling the price was worth it. This game is truly an exception! I really felt like I got my money's worth on this one! There were extra chapters to do. Yeah, sure, background papers, etc. are all right, but I really just want to play more game!
SPOILER ALERT: I just love how they allow the character to change at the end. That was a nice touch!
This is a game that I will definitely play again later. I hope they make more like it! Fantastic!
I didn't realize that this game was timed. If there was a shut off for the timer, I didn't see it and that made it a bit tricky at times, but it is doable.
I enjoyed the mix of the games. Most of the games repeated on each level with more difficulty. Sometimes the timer was very maddening as you would lose time if you put something together wrong. I also noticed I lost some time when I didn't. (I guess I touched something when I didn't realize it!) Sometimes I would try to do something and it didn't allow me to do it, would deduct time, and then that would be what needed to be done. Grr.
The matches game was annoying until you discovered you can only move a match to exactly where they will allow you to move them. They are easy to do, but I spent most of my time trying to trying to figure out where they wanted them to be put and not solving the puzzle!
SPOILER: They also put a twist on the Chinese checkers... you can jump diagonally! That was another eye opener discovered on the last round. There was no way to do the game, in a timed round, without being able to do that. If you know that going in, you can really zip through them. (Too late for me, but others may enjoy that tip.)
I did enjoy the game(s) quite a bit and will be doing the other two that I purchased in the series.

The graphics on this game were lovely. The colors were rich and it was easy to see things.
The HO games were pretty good, but it seems there was always one item a bit tricky to find. There were some puzzles that I had to use my brain for! Woot woot! but they were not so difficult that I could not figure them out. I like the higher level of challenge, where you have to think a wee bit. In most games, this is not the case. I also played on the hardest level.
It was fun looking around for the clovers to unlock the unlimited HO play (which I haven't played yet). They were not hidden in such ridiculous places that they could not be found. They also gave you more than enough to meet the requirement. That's always nice in case you miss one or two, you can still open up the reward at the end. Nice touch!
The only real draw back that I personally found was the CE version really wasn't worth getting if you were to pay full price. There was only a couple of minutes extra play for me. I rarely use the strategy guide, so that isn't a real bonus for me, although it is handy if you need it.

I found that this game was just as enjoyable as the earlier ones in the series. The color, imagery, voice over, and story line were all pleasant. The music, I'm sure, put me into a trance! lol! It's very soothing. I don't mind when I find an object and then don't use it for awhile. I actually prefer it that way. A little thought is a good thing! The hints are not necessary in this game, although I have to admit, I rarely use a hint. None of the puzzles are seriously taxing. The HOG are generally easy to get through. There is sometimes one item that may be a little obscured, but right when I think I may have to give in and use the hint, I find it.
I played the game on Normal as I just wanted to get back into playing BF games again to relax.
I am looking forward to the next in the series. I'll be waiting for the SE to come out, like always.

The series continues and now ends (Although it didn't seem to have an ending in the regular game SE version which is what I always buy. )
Again, the game play, graphics, voice overs (Can we say, "Jack Sparrow"?) were all as delightful as in the other games in the series.
The game had a good amount of time. It took quite awhile to finish this game. It said 9 hours +, but I often forgot to pause the game when I walk away to do something.
Repetitive in several of the mini games. I did like the variety of games they put in, but some of them tend to become annoying after awhile.
There was one game I had no idea what they wanted me to do. I had to go to the walkthrough and read what it was. I solved it in like a minute once I knew what it was that they were requesting. Perhaps, looking back on it, I should have easily figured it out, but that was not the case here. I never use a "skip" on the mini games. I enjoyed the fact that the game was not "swimming" in HOG and that they were not repeated! Loved that feature!
The "bad guy" appears, but not for very long at any one time. So, the story remains light. I so love that! My daughter is able to play it and I don't have to worry about the darkness of it!
I tend to prefer these adventure games vs the HOG. There is more thinking involved.
I will be looking for more games by Boomzap. They are great adventures, lots of play time with a good variety of mini games and a little bit of thinking thrown in!

This is the second one in the series that I have played. I enjoyed the Moonfell Wood a lot and came back around to play this one after a couple of years. It is a very pleasant to play a game with no demons (A special 2 thumbs up for that!) which is a nice change for this sort of genre. The game scooted along quickly, going from one task to another at a pleasant pace. There is no map for those of you who like to scoot back and forth quickly. I personally don't find that troublesome in this game at all. You have to use your brain, not everything is spoon-fed to you like I have seen in other games I have played. I didn't find it quite as enjoyable as the Moonfell as it repeated several of the mini games, to me, ad nauseam. I enjoyed the mini games, I just don't like them so much that I want to do a LOT of them. If you liked the type offered, you will certainly like this game! The graphics are nice, crisp and clean like they were in Moonfell. The music is good, with another lilt that you have to watch out for. It can put you in a trance before you know it! Hehe A job well done! Very entertaining and certainly worth the money spent.

What a lovely game! The storyline is not dark. Graphics are bright, clean and crisp. The voice overs are well done. The music is pleasant, although it may be a bit quiet and allow you do doze off if you are tired! lol! The puzzles are quite doable without cheats. I had to look at the walkthrough for the feather game as my screen colors of the feathers obviously were not showing the right colors! A good length of time can be spent enjoying this game as it is not too short. Overall a very fun little game! The first in a series.
