The evil character that had my grandpa (and a few others) hostage was psychotically silly.
The games almost played themselves, I had very little if any challenge to it.
I never figured out what the broken shards were for except to unlock a few poorly thought out side games.
The other hostages were so annoying, if the option was available, I would have let the silly psycho keep them.
Major waste of money/credit.
I don't recommend this game.

I did like the game a lot. I liked the graphics, it was a good game to really get my feet wet (ha ha) and to learn how to hunt in HOG's.
One of the few things I did not like about the game was once I went back to a room, if I had an item on the list before, it was still in the same place. I wish they'd have moved the items.
Another thing I did not like was putting the pictures together. I had trouble seeing some of the pieces both the torn pieces and the actual picture, some parts were so faded...
I have not played this game in a long time. I will let my two autistic kids play, though. I think my daughter will really like it.
There are some facts about the Titanic, too. I liked that.
This IS a kid-friendly game, so that is another plus. I do have some games that are definitely NOT kid friendly. (Very dark storyline, or extremely graphic pics...thinking of Ravenhurst here)
But, yes, a good game for everyone.
I recommend this game!

I did not like to see such a young looking child in a cage...I guess that is just me, though. But I did enjoy the cats. I think if you have a free credit coming to you, then use it on this game. I don't know if I would have bought it unless it was through a free credit, even with the cats.
I think this is a game that I am on the fence about, but it was indeed the cats that interested me most.
I recommend this game!

I kept feeling as if I was walking in circles. It was distracting, scattered, and it was like a couple of different games tossed together and this is what was spit out.
I did not even finish the trial. I think I still had about 30 minutes left and I just clicked out and deleted it off my computer. I was NOT impressed in any way. If I remember right, this was the game that also had a confessional on fire. I am not Catholic, but I did find that a bit disrespectful. The fire was put out easily, but I just was taken aback by it.
If BFG ever has a poll as to which game I never want to see in their line up, this would be in the top three.
I don't recommend this game.

After using a secret alias to board the Titanic, things go terribly wrong and you find yourself trapped among the wreckage. In order to earn freedom from your watery tomb you must appease your captor by re-writing history and freeing the spirits trapped aboard the 'unsinkable' luxury liner as well as discover why fate has chosen this destiny for you.

I reviewed this on BFG's Facebook page, I think. Did anyone else catch the spelling error? They were talking of the 'pour souls', not the 'poor souls' and some grammatical errors, which may be expected from some of the characters, but not from the instructions...
I do like the premise of the story, although unrealistic. Some things were so far off in left field. I had to find a couple of very odd items when a more obvious solution was applicable.
I think someone slept through proofreading and editing this game. I feel as if it was rushed (maybe for the 100th anniversary of the real life sinking?).
Send this one back. Let some fresh eyes, minds and imaginations work on this game, it has SO much potential, that I think it is one of the few that should get a re-do.
I did buy this game, mostly because I was curious of the outcome. Ah well. As I said in another review, the bones are good, but the meat of the game is rancid.

I have read the reviews before this one, and at best the reception is luke-warm. The person who mention the horrid lip synching was spot on. Dreadful. I just quit watching their lips and listened to the conversation.
I still have 41 minutes to go, and I am 3 chapters in. I am at the boiler room.
I will play out the remaining minutes, but unless there is a huge twist or improvement in the game, no, I will not be purchasing it.
I do like the dog, though. Too funny.
I don't recommend this game.

I like challenge, but this was too easy for me. The only time I had to use the hint button was because I had trouble seeing objects even w/the magnifier.
The process of elimination was too easy for each story. I think for a tween, (11-15 or so) it would be great, but I was bored. Too bad, because I love the logic of Holmes.
Also, the characters and the graphics were just so-so. I have seen worse, but I was not impressed.
Recommend for an older juvenile, but unless you are just looking for a time filler without a hard challenge, skip this one. I won't be buying it.
I don't recommend this game.

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

The first Ravenhurst was okay. I LOVE the second one, but this one, ick. I am not that impressed. I agree the morphing items are a bit too much. Maybe a morphing item scattered throughout the hidden object games (like maybe 1 or 2 per h.o. game), but when you have to find on average 10 to 12, nah. it takes from the story line. I still may buy it anyhow, I have not made up my mind. I have some free credits coming up, so I'll be using those if I do buy this. Get rid of 98% of the morphing objects, make it a bit more traditonal, and I think I'd love it.
I don't recommend this game.
