Did Beta testers not note a frustration about the lack of tutorial? I realize there can be too much tutorial sometimes, but there was so little, I couldn't manage resources, address emergencies, or even recognize emergencies, for that matter. I couldn't identify, much less prioritize tasks and goals. I have played a few strategy games, although I prefer time management, but I was looking for something new. The cute Egyptian in the cover was misleading, as I can't really even see my characters. If this had been my first strategy game, I would never bother trying another.
Tried the Beta months ago and have replayed the others while waiting. Merry Christmas to me! A new set of villains, a new continent, old and new friends, new challenges, and a new goal, now that we have saved the farm and built a business. I love the variety the European settings offer, and the option to play at my leisure, enjoying the scenery rather than always rushing.

Time Management with three difficulty settings. Instructions are easy to understand and the tutorial was clear and concise. Tasks are a bit repetitive to watch after I've clicked; not much decision-making or strategy. I prefer the animation in Northern Tales, Roads of Rome, Viking Sagas, but this isn't bad.
I have been waiting for another of these. I like that each new game offers a few new little graphics to watch, or maybe I just see more. I play Casual just so I can enjoy the view. Bought this after five minutes of trial! I like the familiarity of the series, but love the new characters. Would like to see more of the characters directly involved in the plot get involved in the action. For example, Ragnar's daughters could be doing something, as they became powerful in the first or second game. Can't be more specific about plot suggestions without spoiling it.

Has an easy mode without a clock, so I could relax and watch the graphics. This game has the most diverse and animated wildlife as part of the setting, and it is peaceful to watch eagles, ducks, and other birds, bunnies, hedgehogs, frogs and other land creatures going about their business while I am solving the challenges in the game. Characters are attractive, and again animation is superior to other games. Sound is upbeat and energising, if a bit repetitive. Tutorial is useful without being intrusive. I was confused about one design decision later in the game, when we took a balloon to another land in the sky, but that land was underground. It did offer a fun new challenge though, so I just went with it. Easily one of my favourite games.

I love time management games, but sometimes want to play easy and relax. Easy here is not easy. There is still a timer for gold, silver, and bronze. I switched to the new Campgrounds Expedition where I could relax and still get gold. It is nice to relax and enjoy the graphics once in awhile. These graphics are crisp and colourful. Excellent detail and expression. And there are distracting bad guys, like in Ranch Rush 1. I preferred Ranch Rush 2 because they were gone. Instructions are clear, simple, and thorough. Lots of levels with new things. I enjoy the tension of surrendering 'old reliable' tasks to make space for new ones after I have become loyal to the status quo. The challenges lead player through this process.

It was a lovely surprise to see another Campgrounds game. The colours are stunning. The action and storyline are clear and fun to watch. The option to complete the game in easy mode was great. Some other games have easy modes that aren't easy. Easy let me linger and enjoy the visuals. The graphics are crisp and strong, particularly the elephant. Music was not annoying, although I have heard better. The repeat loop was a bit short for me, although it would make sense in a challenge mode.
I loved the variety in this game. It was challenging going from a quick activity to a slow one. Each environment was different. Visuals are beautiful, although Altair's costume is a bit weird. Music relaxing, repetition not annoying. Don't understand why the store had lots of items I never needed, though. Plot kept moving. Really wanted another couple of chapters. I was building my resources to move to the next island!
I enjoy time management and strategy games, so have been looking forward to a new release. My Kingdom for a Princess is fun, so I had similar expectations of this. It is different enough to be new. I tend to get gold the first time through the first few challenges, so find this more difficult, but in a good way. Some directions are very clear, but some storyline bubbles are displayed during the timed challenge, and I missed that content. Hope it didn't matter! Took me a couple of rounds to figure out the bonuses.
Build eight majestic temples to prevent the cataclysmic end of Egypt's eighteenth dynasty as foretold in an ancient scroll in this epic Time Management game.
Loved the first! This one has some annoying features I hoped would be gone after Beta test. Bouncing rocks and money delay play until clicked again. First game they were banked automatically. The 'temples' are tabletop models of the 'my city' structures reused from first game, including housing. Most problematic: must desecrate sarcophagi to get treasure. Why not just keep the treasure chests?
