Ok so this is another game from Friendly Fox that was very easy but for some reason it didn't bother all that much in this game. I appreciated that there weren't as many curse-breaking actions, like in these type of games where you have to use an extra tool in order to disenchant people. The visuals and music were great but why is there no music when you come into a new place? You can only hear the wind howling unless you're playing a mini game. All in all, it was okay but I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm a huge fan of Friendly Fox games but recently i've noticed that all of them have dropped in the level of challenge they have. The games are absurdly easy, like waaaay too easy and for some of these games even from the get-go you have too many cutscenes and in this specific game; deductions where you've barely even moved through 3 locations. I stopped playing this game because it was mind-numbing, no fun at all.
I am a huge fan of Living Legends series but I have to say that the quality seems to go downhill the more they make them. The gameplay was way too easy even for the hardest mode, it seemed like you only used tools that you found in 2 scenes and then you moved on which is very boring. The storyline is all over the place, I don't even know how to explain it. And whille the graphics were amazing as always, I noticed that they used the exact same BG for a scene that they did in another game. Are we to expect for the quality to drop even further in the future?
To be completely honest, this game had so much potential. It had an intriguing storyline which could have been developed into something great and yet it it stays flat throughout the entire story. I was so sure there was going to be a twist, but it was the same boring story all throughout the game. And even though this is supposed to be a magical land, the scenes and gameplay is barely magical at all. I felt like the backgrounds were kind of plain. This game could have been way better, but it's still a game that's worth playing, so I'm gonna recommend it, just don't expect much.
This game is so much fun, especially right now in December! The christmas theme is charming, the graphics are incredible, the music is enjoyable without being that annoying Christmas songs and overall is extremely fun to play. The storylines and the characters were well done as well. And the bonus game is funny! All in all, a very fun, cute game to play right now and to lift up your spirit!
This series is rather new to me, but I am interested in it. The storyline here is quite interesting, drawing you in, with an added plot twist at the beginning and in the middle. The graphics are amazing as always, and the addition of the comics telling you parts of the story was really awesome. You also have a little helper throughout the entire game and you receive certain abilities from the creatures. The gameplay was kinda easy, I started getting a little bored at the end but it's still a fun game!
I actually really adore the Living Legends series, and so I jumped through the roof when I saw that they made another one. The storyline actually starts off really well, with a mystery and a hidden secret. But it never tuly reaches the potential it had. Also I didn't particularly like the fact that you only interact between 3 scenes. Like everything you need to do within the scenes gets done within three scenes (which usually has a character to save and at one point it started to get a little too much), and then you go forward and the same thing happens. I would have preffered it if there was more interaction between more places. Also the additional silhouettes of tools you need in a scene was kind of uneccessary given that we already have helpful texts. Maybe they could actually create an off button for that. The visuals and music however was magnificent as usual. Although I didn't really like it that much, it's a great way to kill a couple of hours.
This game is honestly so good. The storyline is so interesting, with little bits of plot twists in between and it surprised me that all of them were believable. Usually, you have to suspend belief, also in terms of finding tools in scenes, but this game was quite realistic. The visuals are amazing as always, and the character we play has a really sarcastic commentary. An additional song was put in which is wonderful, and I honestly felt like (since usually in these games when you have to save multiple characters it starts to be too much), in this game it felt just enough. And I loved the extra animation when the wife who turned into a cat then proceeded to cuddle up to her husband in cat form. That was a really nice touch! All in all, a truly wonderful game!
This game really sounded like it has a great plotline and in fact it does, but you quickly figure out what's happening (which is not that bad of a thing). The characters are interesting and the detective mode is super fun. The visuals were amazing as usual and the gameplay was great. It doesn't really go down as a great game but it is enjoyable enough!
I went into this game hoping it would be different from the Bridge to Another World: Alice in Shadowland and I was proven right. The storyline is interesting though it really kicks off a little later in the game and the similar characters have different roles this time around. I also liked how the guards (who are usually mindless soldiers) actually had personalities of their own. The gameplay is fun and is the best feature of the game, while the visuals and music were delightful. The only thing that bugged me was the constant picking up off coins which are everywhere. I think they overdid that a little bit, but otherwise a fun game!
