Was hesitant to buy this since I own the other Viking Brothers and didn't really care for the last two but this one is a lot more fun. Still the same story line of the two brothers trying to save mankind - fighting wyverns and other creatures aided (?) by the tricky Loki. Game moves along and you can cue up numerous tasks. I agree with another reviewer about the bouncing hint scroll being distracting but it definitely "saved the day" when I was confused re the runes. Also like the chests where this time you can choose - food, wood, etc. Has great music.
So if you want a relaxing game that's a lot of fun (IMHO) without gloomy dungeons and ugly faces and monsters this is a good buy!
AND I love the owl.
I recommend this game!

And here it is! Love the Cursed House games and this came out just in time for Halloween. There's nothing really to add for those who have played the other CH games - same game play with the exception of different look to the board pieces - but still fun with just enough but not too many mini games (my pet peeve) but love the solitaire mini games and am finding this rather easier than the other CH games - maybe practice makes perfect.
I recommend this game!

Never bought any of the Adelantado (if that's how you spell it) games but own and love all the Roads of Rome so grabbed this based on video and reviews and am sadly disappointed. You have to buy buildings such as hen house and lumber mill and another for a lumberjack to cut wood to go to the lumber mill and another one for your workers. Each scene starts off with foggy areas and until these are cleared you have to do a bit of maneuvering around to get them to fit and lumberjack has to be by trees - once these are all cut down you have to demolish the building and move him elsewhere.
Takes forever for the workers to build a bridge or building not to mention takes forever for the hen house to create enough food and on and on, very little instructions and discovered by accident that bushes have to be cut to get gold, have to accumulate blue spheres to destroy evil plants and as stated even with several hen houses and fruit bushes and trees an excessive amount of food is required and takes forever to accumulate THAT (tho with the size of the Roman commander suspect he's eating most of it)!
It takes IMHO entirely too much time to finish a level and halfway thru find myself bored and impatient which I never was with the ROR series. Maybe it will get better later so will recommend it but with reservations.
I recommend this game!

Have been waiting for over a month for a game with no ugly faces and hideous monsters and thot I found one on this and wish I'd waited for reviews. As stated language is an issue, hidden objects are so small you go blind trying to find them even with enlarging the screen which distorts images, the silhouette HOS's you for the most part can't make out what they are and no choice of modes - which doesn't matter since when the timer runs out you can still play, and you're deducted money for too many wrong clicks.
I usually play causal when first buying a game to get the feel of it and even with expert rating this had me frustrated on one hand and stumped on the other, and using a game credit for this only added insult to injury!
I don't recommend this game.

Was really enjoying this game until I got 3/4 of the way thru it and finally gave up and uninstalled it. There are three sections on each level and some of the requirements are getting a straight five or six cards of either hearts, diamonds, etc and by the time you try to get it you're practically out of spare cards to do the next requirement. You do accumulate cash to buy helpers but by the time you do that to get you thru the level you're practically out of money and stuck except to constantly replay the level.
Was extremely disappointed because as above was enjoying the game but games should be fun - not full of frustration and stomach tying up in knots.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm a big fan of farming games and this one is great! Idea is to fix up an old barn for winter which is just my cup of tea since I love building games. HO's scenes are pretty easy IMHO, there are gold coins to find which add to your store of cash to buy upgrades and you're given three choices on each. There are several mini games (normally not my favorite) which help to earn extra money and Joe and Tom are entertaining as well, and of course the goofy dog which I always name after mine. Added bonus is timed or untimed.
This is certainly a welcome change from all the gloomy, dark games offered these days with ugly faces and hideous monsters. Hope there will be a Barn Yarn 2!
I recommend this game!

Altho I have an expert rating I normally play a game in untimed mode until I get the feel of it. This game has no untimed and the time allotted for each level doesn't adjust each scene - whatever time you use up is deducted and the next scene has what's left which considering how hard it is to see half of these objects is a deterrent IMHO to enjoying the game.
Object is to find the HO's in each scene along with gems to fill up your hint store. HO's are in some cases again so hard to see you practically go blind. After each level there's a puzzle to complete which for the most part isn't particularly hard just time consuming.
Doubt this is a game I'll replay over and over like I do with the majority of my games. Enjoyment factor in this game is little to none.
I don't recommend this game.

Which I like at times to get a break from mind benders. Zombies are back and object is to build an island community that will fight the zombies so everyone can leave. Levels are match 3 each with candy that when matched will trash a "diabetic" zombie and give you gold to spend on each structure. Also quests to finish solitaire games for more gold, along with find the hidden zombie, etc.
Kids would probably like this game as it's not at all complicated in fact very easy which as I said is a relief at times.
And BTW where's our Felix the Fish these days?
I recommend this game!

I loved the previous Park Ranger games and own all of them, but am wishing they would come up with some different ideas for the park. Always play mini games between levels starting with the inevitable do the park map with fitting the items into the map, always having to find the animals and the trash then onto the next level then another mini game.
Am enjoying this as usual but it's starting to get monotonous.
And hey - where's our Felix the Fish? Has been missing from the new games!
I recommend this game!

PRO'S: I have all the Incredible Dracula games and love them all - just hope in this one Dracula shows up but still early in the game yet. Same play as previous - build lumber mills and BloodDonalds, some new features like a pharmacy that concocts potions, the ditzy dog is back, so is Frankenstein and other characters from previous games, and this time you start off with two zombies which moves things along.
CON'S: Game is rather dark and your accumulation of wood, etc is at the top this time and at times hard to see, the game cursor (which you can't change) is very clumsy and you have to click on objects two or three times before you can accumulate it, and have to agree with another reviewer about Dracula's wife looking like a Barbie Doll not a vamp and where's the princess? (unless she shows up later).
Am two ways about this game so won't recommend one way or another.
