Not easy like the former games but they do have upgrades from the last four which makes it definitely more interesting. Same idea of rebuilding the roads and villages after a Viking attack but this time Markus is off fighting and Valeria is overseeing the building. Different format in a way but still enjoyable.
I have most of the other jewel match games and wasn't sure I'd like a solitaire but this is so fun. Haven't completely finished the game yet but so far am enjoying every minute. Typical solitaire game but you get to accumulate gems to build your spooky castles and coins to buy power ups. I especially like the "reshuffle" you can use if you have cards left over and for once the cost of power ups (like some games) don't break the bank.
Halloween is over but this still keeps you in the mood.
I love these vacation adventures and this one doesn't disappoint. To be honest nothing really new - it's the same game play of HOGs and mini games but who cares - it's a wonderful change from trying to find a game these days without hideous faces, even more hideous creatures, doom, gloom and back and forth between screens just a nice relaxing game. Enjoy!
The little mermaid Fiona has fallen in love with the statue of a warrior and will stop at nothing to bring the statue back to life in this match 3 adventure!
To play when you don't want a mental effort. Love underwater games and tho the artwork was cartoonish was pleasant with attractive colors. I do have to agree with one reviewer re tiles to be broken blend into background and are hard to see so it takes longer (unless you have perfect vision) to complete a level. Purpose of game is for the little mermaid Flora to bring a statute of a warrior who saved her life once to life so has to accumulate gold and other treasures, etc, etc. (the usual).
Will recommend it since it's a nice change from doom, gloom and hideous faces.
Only bought this because of the Halloween theme and was rather disappointed. Unlike some wasn't the least scared by anything "jumping out" at me and found the game to be rather short - expect more bang for the buck for the cost of a collector's edition which it didn't need to be since it was rather straightforward and easy to play - usual collect items in the inventory and move back and forth between one screen and another to insert keys, tokens, etc.
Since description of the game has already been done will just say maybe play the demo and wait until this comes out on SE. Will only recommend it because one man's junk is another man's treasure.
That there's a Zombie Solitaire Chapter 2. I love solitaire games (for the most part - some of them are rather boring) but this is so fun! Follows the same format/criteria as the previous but that doesn't make it the least mundane! You can eliminate those annoying bouncing coins, music is appropriate to the game and not intrusive to it (like some), and it is at times challenging even playing casual mode.
I really hope there will be a 3 since it's so refreshing these days to find a really fun game - not the current offerings of doom, gloom, hideous faces and creepy crawlys.
This game is in no other words annoying - other than the Jewel Quest games dislike having to go from one screen to the other trying to find objects to unlock a level. Quite frankly I consider this game rather monotonous and just can't get into it. Hate to unassign it but am yawning from ennui!
If you want a game that puts you to sleep this is it!
Was hesitant to buy the first installment of this game but glad I did since I know how to play this one which is a suggestion for those giving negative reviews. Granted you may have to play a level over but that's where the fun is - a challenge.
We're back to finding dad again and game play is like previous - gather resources, build buildings to accumulate same. Since I know how to play this now am thoroughly enjoying it. Keeping an eye on what I'm doing and am progressing great (but still have to play a level or two over). Music is light and not the least intrusive to game play like a lot of games, instructions are clear and if you keep an eye on what you're doing you should get your stars. I always play a new game in casual so that doesn't bother me but for the die hards it's a must.
So try it and for those liking a challenge but not to the point of hair pulling you should enjoy it. PLUS a nice change from these horrible doom, gloom, hideous faces and creepy crawly's like we get these days; wish they would come up with more fun games.
Bought the original since I was running out of time to fill my punch card for a free game and glad I did and was happy to see another one. Not sure why this would be a CE but got it in a CE sale and am enjoying it as much as the first. Instructions and goals are easy to follow, you do have to pay attention - had to start over a few times - but overall it's an easy and enjoyable game. Love the little people running around and the music is pleasant and not intrusive (like some).
So if you want a fairly easy game with a break from the doom, gloom, hideous creatures and ugly faces we're getting these days take the plunge.
I'm not sure what the purpose of this game is other than solitaire. The music and scenes are very soothing which makes a nice break from the usual doom, gloom, hideous creatures and ugly faces these days but other than that don't see what the end result is supposed to be.
Not going to recommend or not recommend since every taste is different but if still available play the demo first before purchasing.
