I like hidden object games and this has a lot of HOS - along with mini games which aren't my favorite mainly because I buy games for the HOS not to get bogged down with MG's. The constant chat was annoying as was the music in some of the scenes. Possibly a foreign developer since ladybugs were referred to in the HOS as "ladybirds," and some objects were very hard to find. Hint button loaded as expected. Not too clear on a few of the scenes just what was wanted or needed.
So am not going to recommend or not recommend - just give my take on it. This game like all games will appeal to some and not others so you just have to roll the dice and take a chance it's your cup of tea so to speak.

Wanted to get this game when it first came out but refused to buy it because it was a "collectors addition" and "get the strategy guide" which seems to be the norm with games these days and I don't see why you would need either. It's very straightforward on how the game is played and you have a relaxed mode which I choose the first time I buy a game until I'm onto it then later on play timed. Helping poor Dracula trying to avoid a "date gone wrong" and his doofy assistants is a lot of fun and a great change from the usual offering these days of doom and gloom. It is difficult at time getting three stars but who cares; you're having fun finishing the level and you can always replay if your hooked on getting the stars which I'm not - I play the game for fun which is the idea of games. Graphics and characters are great and appropriate for this type of game.
We fishies all like getting a bang for our buck so to speak with the games we buy and for the most part I enjoyed the challenge in this game with figuring out what monolith to smash next and the HOS and choosing a building BUT what I didn't like is this game goes on FOREVER. It defeats the purpose when you keep wishing a game you purchased would finally end. Games should be fun not eventually feeling like a chore. Halfway through was considering buying the other two - now not. If you like long games with a definite challenge this is for you. If you get bored easily you might want to skip this one. Will recommend it on the fun factor and challenge alone.
Thought this would be great from other ratings but sadly disappointed. Game itself was monotonous, finally muted this obnoxious voice telling me how wonderful I was each time I made a match, buildings were ugly and stupid dialogue of the characters with their mouths moving like crazy - spare me from further games like this,
I don't recommend this game.

Deep Blue Sea
Unravel the mystery of the aquatic people of Avalonia! Piece together the fragments of their Sacred Amulets and salvage treasures along the way!
Can't see the least purpose of it - just match 3 endlessly without any noticeable upgrades after accumulating gold and mind numbingly boring on top of it. Only bought it because I like oceans and fish - graphics cartoonish.
I don't recommend this game.

Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles
Charles Baskerville is the latest victim of a centuries-old curse! Help Holmes break the curse before the next murder occurs!
Have owned this game for two years and played it several times and just now realized didn't write a review. I thoroughly enjoy this game and have no idea why anyone would need a strategy guide or a CE. It's very straightforward, hint button loads fast, mini games are pretty easy (with the usual exceptions and only gripe skip button is very slow). Naturally you're at Baskerville Hall tracking down the hound with Holmes and Watson. Scenery is very eerie and very well done and I definitely recommend this game.

I have no idea what the purpose of this game is - seems like all you do is frantically click to eliminate symbols and eventually get a picture of a dinosaur on a rock.
If you enjoy mindless clicking you may like this but for me boring and time wasting. Only bought it because I love dinosaurs and wish Big Fish would get more games with that theme in mind and was sadly disappointed.

I own most of the Jewel Match games and this to me ranks about the best. This theme came out just in time for Halloween and the tiles are pumpkins, bats, black cats, mummy heads, and the theme is haunted houses which is great. Has three different game modes, bonus games and on this one you can buy special decorations like bats, crows, etc. Really a lot of fun .
This isn't overly challenging and not really a hidden object other than a few scenes to find objects so you can continue. Had fun doing my "Halloween house" and the match three wasn't difficult except when the spiders showed up and had to start two levels over. If you're looking for a game to get you in the mood for Halloween without the doom and gloom games these days where you have to either have a strategy guide or buy the collector's edition this is a nice change.
Loved the first Farmington Tales so immediately purchased this when it came out. This is a bit harder than the first since it's set in winter and trying to find some of these hidden objects in the snow was annoying. Harry and his escaped animals are back again and try to find the white goats in the snow.
Only thing I didn't like was the upgrades - this time they're turning the farm into a winter wonderland - I like farms to look like farms!
