If you love challenging HOS this game may be for you. It seems -in the short time I played the demo-to be a endless series of HOS separated by some mini-games in an interesting concept that makes it seem like an adventure game where you are completing quests.
For me there were simply too many HOS with objects too difficult to find in the allotted time without using the limited hints.
As always I suggest playing the demo before buying-you may like it-I didn't

I suspect there may be a fair amount of folks that will not like this game, but I did, playing happily to the end of the demo, before buying it-admittedly with a free game coupon. Not sure if I would have paid cash.
It is a bit "old school" on visual & sound quality. The opening cut scene is almost comical, with the mouth movement in no way matching the written(no voice over)dialog. The later scenes have only a still image & written dialog.
There are only two levels of play, casual & expert. There is a diary & jump map & a bonus section that seems to allow you to replay some puzzles & play other games.
The tutorial is very basic & doesn't provide too much hand holding. The hint button is helpful & necessary for me & provides additional help for the puzzles, beyond the basic directions.
There were actually more puzzles than HOS, which I liked. They varied in challenge but most were doable with a little thought & there is a skip button.
The HOS were fairly typical in the demo, but the items were clear & reasonably easy to find.
I liked the story line & it looks like it may be an interesting journey. The music-not so much-I turned it very low.
I liked it, even with its quirks. I suggest doing the demo & seeing if you like it too.
I recommend this game!

I suspect that I might be in the minority, but I liked this game.
The storyline kept me engaged until the end of the demo which usually means a buy for me.
Yes there are flaws.
The graphics are old school & cartoonish.
Some objects in the HOS are small & hard to find & some were labeled with European terms(plaster instead of bandage)but I found it easier to find things as I proceeded.
The tutorial was extremely limited but with the jump map hint button I was able to get around with little problem.
There was a point when the characters seemed to discuss an area that I had not yet visited-so I am not sure if the logic is 100%.
I must admit that I purchased it with a free game coupon & am not really sure I would of paid full price for it.
But in the end the storyline engaged me enough to overlook these flaws & buy the game.
I would suggest playing the demo & seeing if you like it too.
I recommend this game!

Played demo for 20 minutes & quit.
Music was loud & annoying
Story was familiar & not done well.
Pace was slow.
HOS were junkpiles-mini-game option was too difficult.
I suggest playing the demo before buying to see if it is for you.
I don't recommend this game.

While I enjoy adventure games that include HOS & puzzles-for me this game takes that just too far. - to the point of annoyingly interrupting the flow of the game. I played the demo or about 30 minutes before getting frustrated by the interruptions & giving up & uninstalling.
This is unfortunate because I liked the storyline, thought the graphics/sound were good & thought the collectibles would be fun to find.
Y'all may be fine with the number of HOS & puzzles & if so I think this game has a lot of promise, but for me they were just too much.
I would suggest playing the demo before purchasing.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm not sure where BFG dug this one up-but they should be ashamed of foisting this game on their customers.
Everything about this game says old, older, ancient.
Sound & music are loud & annoying & can't be adjusted, only turned on or off. No voice overs, only "talking" heads that look like ventriloquists dummies. Graphics in general are very old, older, ancient school. Tutorial & hints slow & clunky. HOS clunky & too frequent. No Map & in my opinion, no redeeming qualities at all. I played less than 10 minutes, quit & uninstalled the game.
I would not recommend wasting your time even playing the free trial.
I usually give BFG the benefit of the doubt & have been, in general, very satisfied with their games & customer service, but this time I am actually angry that they wasted my time with this ancient & awful game.
I don't recommend this game.

I liked the first game in this series & hoped to like this one also. The story-line looked promising.
Visual & sound quality not up tp my standards, but that doesn't usually effect my decision to buy.
I liked the feature of being able to check an inventory item with the hint button, but otherwise the hint was very frustrating. Click & it would send you in one direction, find nothing obvious to do there, click again & it would send you back to where you started or tell you there is nothing to do here. No map to help-so after 15 mnutes of being sent back & forth I gave up and uninstalled the Trial,
I suggest you do the Free Trial before deciding to buy. I hope you have better luck than I did.
I don't recommend this game.

I liked the first game in the series & liked this one even more.
The world you are exploring is weird indeed & the story, although a familiar one of a lost child, unfolds in unexpected & unpredictable ways..
I enjoyed the HOS & puzzles that to me were different, interesting & had the right level of challenge.
The hour demo was over before I knew it or got bored & for me that always means a purchase.
I recommend this game!

This game looked different & thought it might be fun. After 7 minutes of the trial I gave up in frustration.
There is no tutorial, the hints are very vague & the actions very difficult for me to accomplish.
All & all a bad trip for me. Perhaps you will have better luck. I would suggest doing the free trial before deciding to purchase.
