I have only played this game for the free hour - but looks good.
Storyline is interesting -save your friends from the genetic aberrations that populate a forgotten island.
Intro video very good.
You actually start with a prequel - meeting the scientist, assisting with the experiment etc (I won't spoil the ending of the prequel).
Then we skip to 50 years later and the shipwreck - where the real story starts.
I have called this an adveture game as the majority of actions are interactive object collecting and using those objects later on or for some future task (eg. collect the owl in the cage, find the ladder, put him back in the nest, collect the requisite object).
HOS (which are not difficult - beautifully drawn with some interactive items) are sprinkled throughout - no teeny tiny items so far.
There are some mini-games/puzzles - connect the fuses, close blossoms, untangle vines etc- some are very easy while others are a little more challenging but not too difficult.
Unlimited hints - button fills reasonably fast.
Important items/info are stored in your journal.
Background music is not annoying.
This game could have benefited with VO - not a lot of text to read, luckily.
I only managed to get about half-way through Chapter 1 or the 5 Chapters of this game - so seems it could be a reasonably long game.
Overall, the game looks good, not too much back and forth and relatively interesting story.
I recommend this game!

This is a platform game (fourth in a series) similar to Turtle Odyssey and Alex Gordon but not of the same class as Supercow.
Visually good.
Music funky and quite catchy.
Storyline is to find Jane, destroy the weather cannon and beat the super bad guy.
Mouse control is better in this game than others - double clicking gets more height.
You need to find food, jewels/coins, jump on the bad guys (especially the suits carrying briefcases) and find the exit (sky taxi).
In some of the levels there are some secret suits/areas to find.
You get a score at the end of each level and a medal/rosette for 100%.
There are no instructions to speak of but pretty intuitive if you have played these types of games before.
The only criticism was it told me I could teleport etc using the action button (no explanation of what this is - usually right click on mouse, didn't work) and a bomb to blast the rocks - couldn't find one.
Overall, enjoyable for an hour (the free trial) - kids might like this one, I prefer Supercow.
I recommend this game!

I only played the one hour trial.
Storyline interesting - travelling through dimesions to other worlds to find your father.
Graphics good and no annoying background music.
This is really an adventure game with HOS.
The HOS have some very small items that blend with the background and are difficult to find.
However, the HOS is nicely drawn and not cluttered.
There is a lot of back and forth to find objects/items and then use them.
Annoying is the car as you have to repeat: put in the key, start the car, move the gear stick and accelerate.
Hints are available but fills slowly.
Mini-games/puzzles are few and far between (only did on easy fuse puzzle in the whole hour).
This game had the potential to be quite good but was let down by the lack of voice over (they also needed to correct typos in the text), less frustrating HOS and more mini-games/puzzles.
Difficult to tell how long this game is or whether it improved later.
If a game doesn't grab me in an hour its not worth buying and this one didn't.
I recommend this game!

I had played the CE so I knew what to expect with the SE. This game has a twist on the nornal HOG with an investigation into where is or what happend to Bobby?
The intro is very professional - great video and clear crisp VO.
There are some amazing looking locations with the game being conducted in a suspenseful and enthralling atmosphere.
Graphics are great and the sound is generally good.
The use of special effects is impressive.
Lots of interactive HOS, not too challenging, but very well done.
Some objects need to be collected throughout the game to be used in later HOS, or in other locations.
Unlimited hints which fill relatively fast.
Many mini games, ranging from easy to challenging.
Do not forget to collect the red flowers for bonuses.
If you buy this game, buy the Collector's Edition for the extra content.
I recommend this game!

More an adventure game than a HOG.
Visually lovely.
Music dramatic and can become a bit annoying (turn it down).
Basic story of helping your friend find a creature he created in an AI experiment.
There are some voice overs which are clear and crisp.
"Hidden Objects" scenes are not cluttered - you just click on an object and a balloon pops up with the images of objects that you have to collect in order to get another object to use.
It has some mini games - unlocking boxes, switching tiles etc which range from easy to a little more challenging.
It has seven chapters and a bonus.
Hints not very helpful - use the guide if needed.
I only completed the one hour demo and with seven chapters plus a bonus game this looks like it will be quite a long game.
Overall, an enjoyable game that makes you think.
I recommend this game!

Georgeous graphics and unobtrusive music/sound effects.
Interesting storyline (voodoo, spells etc) -an intriguing mystery to solve
Excellent VO......clear and crisp.
Clever puzzles (mixing of spells etc).
Involves you in the world of voodoo......you get to find spell ingredients, cast spells and dispell spirits using potions.
A good selection of Interesting characters.
The title is a bit misleading - only the one story.
Quite a short game, can be finished in a couple of hours.
Great game for beginners, but not very challenging for experienced gamers.
Needed more puzzles, things to do bonuses, or some mini games.
HOG scenes were very easy.
Its a good game, albeit short - buy if reduced or redeem as a freebie.
I recommend this game!

If you like the TV show you will probably like this one.
Storyline basic - go to different places, find the objects on the list, sell them
Background music OK.
Visually looks alright - not stunning.
The HOG has some very small items to find.
Biggest negative is the huge amount of dialogue - have to constantly click the skip dialogue button.
I got bored very quickly with this game.
I wouldn't buy it (not even if it was a Daily Deal).
I don't recommend this game.

This is just a puzzle game - nothing else to complicate it.
On the plus side, lots of different types of puzzles to complete.
On the down side a lot of the puzzles are far too easy for adults to complete.
This is probably one for the whole family (kids should be able to complete a good proportion of these).
I recommend this one for the whole family especially if you like puzzles.
I recommend this game!

Aaron has to find mirror parts to find his missing father.
Basically the game is one of finding various items and using them to accomplish an objective (eg. fix the fountain to get the lever).
Visually it looks good and background music is pleasant and soft.
But that is where the good aspects end.
This is a real brain drain trying to figure out what to do with the inventory items.
Some are very obscure eg the mailbox.
No journal entries for story/game progress.
Some hints to speak of but these were useless.
I finished the hour free trial (half way through the third portal), probably should have given up earlier.
To much back and forth for my liking.
Try the demo for 30 minutes before you even thinking of buying.
I don't recommend this game.

A very basically drawn platform game.
Visually Ok music annoying.
There are three modes of play (one mode is kid's level).
Very basic game - not in the same class as Supercow or Turtle Odyssey.
If you try to enter your name in the Hall of Fame (as I did after Level 1) the game freezes - no way out but to End the Process.
Kid's might like this but too rudimentary for adults.
I don't recommend this game.
