I really enjoyed this TM game. The level of challenge was perfectly balanced to maximize the fun factor. There were several levels that took repeat tries and strategy in order to achieve gold time. In this installment, Megara grows the berry plants for food. You meet up with yours pals from previous games in different areas which provides diverse obstacles to beat preventing the game from becoming stagnant. Once you beat the game in gold time you can go back through and try to beat the developer records for added challenge and fun. I highly recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

I found this game to be really fun and relaxing.
I really enjoyed clearing up the clutter, I also appreciated that variety. There are really fun mini-games mixed in between every couple of levels that kept the game from getting stagnant. Every different chapter also had a different theme which also contributed to keep the fun and challenge level high. I found the levels where the items were blended together and the pick two and leave one levels to be the most challenging.
Visually the game left a lot to be desired, the images themselves were not cutting edge quality, luckily this did not impact the play at all. The visuals over all were rather crude and elementary. I gave this section a two star rating because I did enjoy the beautiful pictures and postcards.
As for the storyline, I almost didn't play this game as some of the reviews talked about it being nothing more than a 'self-help' book. There was a lot of advice about reducing clutter ingrained into the game itself, however, those portions of the game were for the most part easily skipped if you did not want to read them. I actually enjoyed them, I used to be a clutter keeper myself so I was able to identify with a lot of the advice he gave. Others also said it just told the story of the creators family ancestry. This was kind of true, but I found it to be an interesting read and if you read all the parts you could easily tell it wasn't a serious family history but more a whimsical quest for the stones. I appreciated the creator's mention that a lot of the 'clutterisms' were taken from his father's journal. Whether this was true or not, it thought was really nice as the game itself would in a way be a tribute to his father.
I am definitely going to go and check out the next installment of this game.
I recommend this game!

I have to start by saying I am a little biased towards the Royal Envoy series, the first Royal Envoy was my first time management game and I have been hooked ever since. The franchise did not let me down in this most recent installment.
My overall rating is 5 stars for this game, mostly because the fun factor is right up there. I think the level of challenge is perfect, especially in expert mode, there are quite a few levels that require more than one try and you have to balance your actions exactly right in order to get three stars. The storyline is just so-so, it is pretty basic, your mission is to restore towns and to add the different islands to the Royal Envoy Kingdom. However, I don't play these games for the storyline, but for the level of challenge and fun in the different levels.
The fun factor is all the way at the top, I enjoy the variety of tasks to be completed in the different levels and the bonus challenges add more depth to the game and give you something to do after you have mastered both the casual and expert modes.
The visuals are colorful, clear, and crisp, very good compared to most time management games.
I cannot stress enough how much I highly recommend this game. Great addition to my collection.
I recommend this game!

This was my first Monument Builders game I have tried. I felt the visuals and the sound were about on par with most other time management games. I thought the story line was funny and I really liked the inclusion of all the facts regarding the Empire State Building so it was also educational, this contributed to my five star rating for the Storyline section. It was a fun play through once, but I don't feel it has any replay value for me as the challenge level was lacking. It was ridiculously easy to get 3 stars from the majority of the levels and only a handful required a second try to get all three stars. I would highly recommend this game for children, and new time management players. Experts will notice the lack of challenge.
I recommend this game!
