Even though everybody have framed this game to be one of the best ever - I just have to make this review to give the developers one more: BRAVO !!!
Great drawings, fun HOS, variation in the minigames, collectibels, morphing object, fragments, great map, helper, super-powers, 3 small adventures AFTER the bonus-chapter, puzzels in the scenes, replayable HOS/minigames and much, much more, and still everything is so well put together that I am making both wawes, am bowing and raise the flag for this sensational game.

As some of you might know I am a big fan of Elephant Games, and recently I said in a rewiev, that it was beyond my imagination to believe that any developer could match Elephant-games for the time being. Well... reality proved me vrong !! - This game is real, and is far better, than I could imagine......
This game has so much of everything and keeps you glued to the screen till the very end.... #LOL - I paused quite ofte in the last chapters as I didn't want the game to end).

A very good plot is totally ruined by unnumerous cutscenes followed by film-clips etc. I like to play, seak and solve - spiced with a cut-scene here and there .... not the other way around.
It's a game, where you either end up watching it or skipping scene after scene.
After 10 cutscenes/films I just skipped and skipped. I know I might miss some important parts of the story, and as there is no journal there is no way to catch up.

THE STORY
You are an orphan who after 25 years get the chance to find your real Mother. You go to a strange "Hotel" where dreams and reality are mixed up - meaning; You find Cards that allows you to enter certain dreams. The point should be to recall lost memories with the help of dreams.

Unfortunately the dream-stuff is still on an experimental stage, so you keep finding reports on how wrong things have gone. Fx that animals are responding badly, and over your head in a huge aquarium a shark is almost breaking the glas.
The scene is set to a lot of possibilities, but the demo gives no clue about what the dreams you visit or the things that happens, has to do with your main task : Finding your mother !
IN GENERAL:
- Basically the game is nicely drawn, the colours are crisp and the HOS are OK with some interaction,
- The minigames are almost easier than an ERS-game
- There are collectibels (10 roses)
- The map is exellent. Transports and tells where you have available tasks
- Integrated strategy-guide. I didn't use it, but I suppose it works just fine
- The hints shows direction without telling you what to do. I like that

I really don't know what to say about this game. It could be a really good one, but my game-experience was totally ruined by the disturbance of cutscenes/filmclips all the time. It never really flowed as I was constantly interrupted by something I had to watch/skip.

Just can't help it - but everytime I see that a game is made by Elephant... my face crack into a broad smile. I just know that there is an excellent game waiting for me !!!
And this game is no exception: Bright, crisp, fun, amusing, always something new and a game that runs smooth, flawless and so well thought out, that one just have to wonder how Elephant-Games can make so many games without making a single mistake.
It is amazing how much Elephant is always taking care of the small details, and with Elephant you never have to find a shovel that is actually a trovel, a knife that is a rapier etc. The translations are excellent ..... and so is almost evertything else about their games.
With Elephant one is also guaranteed a decent length, so hours of quality-entertainment has become their trademark.

I wont describe the game as many has done that already, but I just have to point out, that the way they are constantly renewing the "in-game-helpers" is outstanding - It seems as if they are so much ahead of all the other developers, that I can't even imagine that they will ever catch up.
The atmosphere is light and Christmas-cute-lovely, but the fun minigames and the smooth set-up just drags you in. As always, there is more than plenty to do everywhere, but if you like, you can use the hints and you'll never feel so lost, that it ruins your game experience.
This game is recommendable for everyone. Both beginners and advanced players will be able to enjoy this delightful game.
I recommend this game!
The rich folklore continues with this exciting tale set in an old Slavic land. As Child of Spring, can you save the world from eternal winter?

Even though this game is nicely drawn and also have some of the bling - like collecting Pet-coins, cute animals etc - it is just too easy and the linearity is killing any exitement that could have been.
The story is not that new either; The World is frozen over, and as you are the child of spring you are the only one who can save the World.
As you move on the evil snow-queen keeps popping up and freeze something, but as you also have a "defreezer" you just remove the ice in a jiffy.

The HOS are interactive as we know them, and some are silluettes -and they are all very easy. The puzzles are also overly easy, but if you like getting achievements for almost everything, you might just like that.
Early in the game you get a pet that can transform things
- fx : you find a fish and then give it to the pet who eats it and gives you the fishbones you need. Really ??
Seems like a waste of time, as one could just have found the fishbones right away.(would even have been more believable as there was no reason to be able to find a live fish where it was found)

The story is about a town that is suffering from a spell that makes strange things happen. The villagers believe it is Witchcraft and has killed a woman they suspected. As the spell wasn't lifted, they are now chasing her young daughter
It is your task to save the village and the girl - and while doing that you meet people that only will help you if you help them first. Pfft.... how serious are they taking the spell when they won't help the only person who can save them without getting something for themselves - greedy, pathetic and so totally stupid in a gameplay !!I

I could have lived with this totally outdated game, but it really tore me apart, that I sometimes had to place the right item 5-10 times before it was accepted - the devs should be able to do that so much better !
Once I had to back out of a HOS - and when I did that it wouldn't let me back in, and as I needed the item I would have earned there, I had no other option than to start all over.
Even though I did that - I finnished the demo with 25 minutes left - not very promising length.
And if I add the rediculously easines on top of all that...

the cardgames could be fun themselves, but what really makes the game tidious and boring is, that the developers have tried to throw in a little storyline and dialouge to make it seem as there is a story.
Well.... there really is no story, and the dialougue is awfull and disturbs the gaming - and since the gaming is repetitive to the extreme.... it's a no-go !!
I would never buy this game - not even as a DD.

I loved the first "Final Cut" - and was eager to try this one out.
The Graphics, collectibles and the plot seems to be of a high standart.
There are a lot to find: Filmstrips, morphing object and clovers - The filmstrips were easy to spot, but in the full demo I only found 1 morphing object and 1 clover .... promising CE quality :-)

The reason to swap between locations wasn't really clear to me, and confused me more the deeper I dug in. Well - as I only did the demo it might be more obvious later on.
I really, really disliked the quick zoom in/out from items and tasks - it isn't pleasing the eye or the gameflow at all, and this is the main factor to my low rating.
It was SO annoying and kind of ruined the game experience.

I am having an ambivaliant feeling about the oportunity to swap to mach 3 in the HOS - On the one hand it is a fast help when I can't find the items, but on the other hand, it makes me lazy as I know I don't have to work my butt off in order to find them, as I can just swap..... so - am both pro and con ??
Will wait to see how others rate the full game before I buy it, and I also wan't to know how long the game is.

I really wantd to give this game a chance, but after 25 minutes I was so bored, that I just had to give up.
The game is cartoonish, simple, slow, predictable and overall lacking everything that has come into the games over the past 5-7 years . Sorry - but just too outdated to be anywhere near BF standart.

It might not be the most fantastic game ever, but nevertheless.... I found myself very well entertained, and I was busy when the trial ran out.
I like the swapping between time periods, and in my best opion this could very well be a little gem.
The HOS and the puzzels are on the easy side, but as I was having a good time - who cares ?
If I learn that this game is of decent length I will most certainly buy.

When I did the trial I wasn't sure, but after having read so many positive reviews I thought that I was the one mistaken, so I bought the game.
That was a huge mistake. Haven't played a game this boring in along time.
