Double bonus- Redemption Cemetery game AND it's in a creepy amusement park. The games wasn't as creepy park orientated as I would have liked, but it was OK.
I love Redemption Cemetery games because they are always three or four games within a game. This one seems a little easier and shorter than most, but it's still good.
Map lets you morph from one place to another so you don't have to spend all your time walking around trying to find where you need to be.This is always a big thing for me! Some walking is good, the whole game isn't.
Voice overs were sometimes hard to hear, but for the most part OK. Nothing about the music stood out. Could have been creepy abandoned carnival good, but they didn't do that.
The bonus chapter was long enough and pretty much along the same lines as the game.
I would love to see more Redemption Cemetery games, as they are one of my favorite.
I recommend this game!

I found the Adam Wolf games to be boring and frustrating to play. I'm not sure why the reviews are so high for these, except the fact that they aren't the normal type of supernatural games. Supernatural detective, doing not much of anything. Guess it's the temptations of the 'mature' game that people are going for here.
Very, very, dull and boring. Glad I got these for free. I would have been disappointed if I paid. installed them both after several tries of playing. I run into this only when I buy games based on the reviews instead of buying from the description. this bad is on me, but it will be my last!
I don't recommend this game.

I should have checked the review dates on this game. It's super old.Talk abut stepping back in gaming time! Reviews are from 2011. This game is so old school, I couldn't pay it. No map, no talking, hard to find your way around. Walking forever, and spending all your time reading everything. This was deleted not long after i started playing.
I don't recommend this game.

I was looking for something different for my husband to play, when I ran on to this game. There was no trial game, so I took a chance and bought it based on the description and the reviews. He used to spend hours playing basic solitaire games, Now, this is all he plays and he loves it.
Different towns get harder and harder, and there are a lot of towns. This is a super long game. He plays poker to get money to buy his horse, buggies, and later cars. He figured out after losing all his money in the second town and having to start over that he needed to build that cash stash up before moving on.
I see that there is a #2 of this game also, so I'll be buying that for him to play too since he loves this game so much.
This is a great game for those who like poker, and the old west.
I recommend this game!

I'm not really sure what to think about this game. I've loved all the regular Grim Tales game especially the games that have Richard in them. I love his sarcasm.
The new modernized Anna and Richard in this game seem a little off, not to mention that they now have two other people working with them. This is my first Detectives United game, so I was unprepared for the fact it's the updated Grim Tales game. I'm not sure if I like this or not!
The HOP are OK and easy enough to find everything. The map lets you jump from one place to another so you don't spend hours walking around. I've quit games that didn't have a map at all, and occasionally I quit games that don't let you jump right to the place you need to go. I'm defiantly a map jumping person! I don't like walking from room to room hoping I found the right place. The puzzles are hard, with little explanation. I ended up skipping most of them, and I love to figure these out in the games, so this is a disappointment.
I always play casual mode, even though I've been playing games forever. II like to use the games to relax in the evening, so I don't get in any hurry. It takes me multiple days to play any game. I play for enjoyment, not to set any records with getting done.
The plot is OK, I guess I never really pay a lot of attention to the actual story line. I'll probably go back and pick up the first game, and then I'll decide if I like the new version of this series enough to play anymore. At least the series is popular enough that they are extending it.
If you like Grim Tales games, you may like these new versions. You'll just have to give it a try and see.
I recommend this game!

I find my self in rooms that I can't get out of. No instructions, nothing. Just stuck. I end up closing the window on my computer to get out of the game.
I personally find it boring just matching all the time. I had hoped this wold be more fun than it is. Apparently it is for everyone else, since it's so highly reviewed. I solved 10 puzzles according to the plane flying the flag, but I barely tapped into the Gold Mine where you have to start.I may or may not bother to try again.
I don't recommend this game.

Complete frustration. While the pictures are pretty, it takes more than that to make a fun game. I have no clue why this is rated so high, and so sad that I fell for it.
There are no instructions to this game, so you're left clicking on every single thing hoping it will do something. There is no plot, it strictly hidden object, and I outgrew those years ago.
I tried this over two nights. the first night was I was instantly frustrated so I quit. Came back tonight, to give it a second chance, but this just isn't for me.I can't figure out what to do, and since nothing talks characters can't tell you either. You just get a few pop ups once in a while from the rabbit and you're supposed to know what to do.
This one is getting uninstalled.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't know why these three games have such poor reviews. I've loved them all. I'd say to ignore the reviews, since most are by the same group of people. Get these games! They're fun.
The story line is good, and the map lets you jump around to where you need to be without walking so much. I always get frustrated in games that don't have maps. So much walking is a waste of time. The bonus game was a little short, but still fun.
If you plan on playing the Treasure Hunt after both the game and bonus game are done, make sure you find all the hidden symbols, or you wont get to play.
I recommend this game!

I love when I run onto a game that is multiple games inside one game. Going into the different rolls of film to find and save the friends was great and never boring.
I always play on casual and over several evenings. I play for fun and relaxation, not challenge. I did end up skipping some of the puzzles, as the instructions to pay them weren't clear and I gave up. I think that sometimes the people writing the instructions forget that they are telling someone else how to play, not just writing down the basics.
I hope they continue with this style and series.
I recommend this game!

I have all of these. ll are super frustrating in the fact that you rarely get all three stars in any hand the first time playing. I have learned that when you finish the game, and go back and start over for a second time, three stars and points are everywhere. In the other games, the second time, I have bought everything I can, and still have over 10,000 points and nothing to use them on. I'm not sure they the developers have to make the first round so hard to beat and then let everything fly for other rounds. In my opinion, it's pointless to make the games un-winable first round.
I wish that they would make building the castles optional. I skipped that on the Halloween version, and the game froze up 2/3 of the way through and I had to start over. On the plus side, the game assumed I had already played all the way through, and getting three stars almost every hand was easy.
I say I'd like to see some other themes, but after grabbing 4 of these with free games, I'm pretty bored. each game is the same. No difference except seasons of the castles that you have to build, no matter what.
If you aren't getting these with your free games there is no need to buy al 4, because they are all the same. Just grab one and play it over and over, because the second rounds are easier to get the stars.
This will be the last one of these I get. They aren't that great, and my freebies can be used on other stuff.
I don't recommend this game.
