This is a fairly short but well done game. The story is interesting with a twist at the end. The artwork is good, but some of the HOS have some difficult-to-find objects. The extra effort required for some objects in the HOS are well thought out. There isn't a map and the hints are not super informative, but there isn't a lot of running back and forth either, so it's fairly easy to figure out what to do. The voice overs are good with moving lips. All in all, it's just an enjoyable game.
Gameplay is pretty good; not a whole lot of running around. Hints are lame, though. Artwork and music are good. I wanted to like this game, but it is really kind of boring. The story is really bad in my opinion. This is my first purchase of a CE, and it will be my last. You can't read the pictures in the strategy guide; you're better off with a blog walk through. Why pay the extra money?
The games in this series, Mystery Trackers, are all excellent including this one. I like the real characters, even the animals. All the artwork is first rate. Game play is good with maybe too much running around, but the map helps as well as a very good hint button. The story is interesting and not too far fetched. Some didn't like the rainy atmoshere, but have you ever seen a scary movie that took place on a bright, sunny day? This is a very well crafted and fun game.
Gameplay is very good in almost all respects. There is a lot of running around, and the map is not useful, but the hint system works well so you don't get lost. HOS and puzzles are all good. The graphics are well done except the characters, which are just still drawings which leads to things like Clair popping up from being stuck in a net to ask for help. The story left a lot to be desired in general premise and a very poor and unbelievable ending. The negatives do not take away from the enjoyment of playing, however.
This is one of those games where virtually every object needed is broken into many pieces, and the player must find each little (and I do mean little) piece before using the object. The little pieces are well-concealed and difficult to find at times, which makes this game one of the most frustrating games ever in my mind. The graphics are OK, but that's the only good thing I can say about this game.
This isn't the best game ever, but it's well done and enjoyable. The HOS and puzzles are good. No map, but the hint system is good. The artwork is good as is the music. The story is different and not the best.
The quality of this game is good, artwork, etc. There isn't a map, and there is a lot of running around. The hint button only tells you that there is nothing to do here, and it really doesn't even always work. Some of the HOS are HOP - place objects. Not my favorite. I found this game to be more frustrating than enjoyable.
The story in this game is kind of messy, but the game is well-crafted. The graphics are very good, the HOS are good, as well as the puzzles. There is a lot of running around, but you can jump places with the map, which also shows where action is required. All-in-all, this is a very enjoyable game.
This game is right up there on my list of "worst game ever". I found nothing redeeming about this game - well, I did like the dog. The whole thing is amateurish; story, graphics, game play, everything. Some have expressed a different opinion, but I suggest one do as I did - try it before you buy it. I'm sure glad I didn't pay good money for this dog (I did like the dog.)
The HOS in this game are obscure, and the hint button not only takes forever to charge, it shows a very large area that you still have to search through. There are no hints, maps, etc. to help you, as well as no instructions on puzzles. The skip button is fairly fast charging though. The story is dumb. The music is annoying. I found this whole game to be annoying as a matter of fact, and not fun at all.
