Personally I love dark fairy tales and this falls into that category.
Thing about the collector's edition though is I don't really feel that the extras are worth it... It's definitely worth it as a regular edition as the length of the game is good. Just don't feel that the extra gameplay is enough to warrant double the price. Maybe an extra $2 or $3, but not double. But that's just me.
Other than that, it's a really great game. In my top 10% of favorites ^_^ So buying the regular version would be a good thing.
This was a fun game, nice and lighthearted. You end up spending a good amount of time on it, but the thing I didn't like was that the reason you spend so much time on it is because you have to keep searching the same scenes over and over again many times.
It WAS fun for me though to fix up the castle, which is why I kept going till the end, doing the same old searches to make enough money to buy the upgrades.
So if you don't mind searching the same scenes quite a few times each then you should really enjoy this.
all 5s except for level of challenge, because it's not a super difficult game, but then I don't like things to be too difficult really. It's more fun for me if I don't hit too many walls.
Game is a great length, so you really get your money's worth out of it.
It's up there with Stray Souls and the Twisted Lands games for me. I highly recommend it.
Not one of my favorite games, but it's best quality is that it's not one that you can breeze through so much either. On the downside of that upside though, it felt as though I HAD to use hints sometimes to figure out what to do next. Like there was nothing to point the the logical next step at times.
All in all it was rather enjoyable, but the characters are a little too pure and naive. Feels a bit like a Hardy Boys story or something hehe
I bought this on Amazon and as soon as I beat it, I had to go looking for more because I had become an instant addict.
The only bad thing is that I've been hard pressed to find other Hidden Object games that feel even close to this. Twisted lands: Shadow Town and Twisted Lands: Insomniac are the other two that are as superb as this one.
Wonderful stylistic art, crisp graphics with solid images and a nice mood that is a bit dark and disturbing.
Gave it a 4 for challenge because while I enjoyed the game immensely, it was not particularly hard. But I like it that way really.
Had I realized this game was the sequel to Vampire Saga: Pandora's Box, would not have bought it. Didn't realize it till after the trial period and purchase unfortunately.
The graphics are not too bad, but on the low end, it's a short game, and the story and characters fall flat. Same as it's predecessor which I also do not recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

Shutter Island
Two US Marshals arrive at Shutter Island in search of a missing patient before her trail is washed way by a looming hurricane.
Having seen the movie, this certainly pales in comparison. The game fails to capture the mood and characters, characters in particular.
You backtrack and search the same scenes often and the scenes are not the clearest, so finding the objects can be challenging due to the pixelation, which is why I gave it a 3 for level of challenge. That is not a good thing however.
Also a very short game. All in all not worth it, not even really as one of the daily deals.
