Completely in agreement with Ptollemy.
Not much worse than finding out you paid to play the last 10 minutes of a game.
It's quite short, and rather bland as Hidden Object games go. There are far better.
I don't recommend this game.

Twisted Lands: Insomniac is the sequel to this game, so I highly recommend that one along with this.
These 2 and Stray Souls are my favorites in the Hidden Object genre. Great stories, they are dark and draw you in well. The art is great, nice and crisp, no problems with items being too obscure to recognize like in some games.
This is also one of the few that I would say it's pretty worth it to get the collector's edition for the extra game play. It's not a whole lot of extra gameplay, but it was enough for me to feel it was worth it.
I recommend this game!

This game is the sequel to Twisted Lands: Shadow Town, so I suggest anyone play that one before this one.

I LOVED playing this game. Great, interesting and quirky characters. Dark and funny, Dahlia has a great sense of humor!
I was just very dismayed that the ending leaves you hanging... no tie up at all. It's very disappointing.
It's a short game too, so I would only purchase it if it was on one of the $3 or $4 deals or if you really don't care about the prices.
I recommend this game!

The reason I have only given this game 2 stars is because there is only one single story involved in this game. I loved the introduction, with the host gearing us up for some tragic tales.
Only to be immensely disappointed to find that the game came to an abrupt end after finishing only the first story.... And it was a rather short story at that. Not long enough to warrant the purchase I feel.
I didn't particularly like this story either, but I felt that the other stories would be more interesting to me... if only there had been other stories.
I did enjoy the type of gameplay and the art. Just wish there was more than one deadtime story!
I don't recommend this game.

Personally I love dark fairy tales and this falls into that category.
Thing about the collector's edition though is I don't really feel that the extras are worth it... It's definitely worth it as a regular edition as the length of the game is good. Just don't feel that the extra gameplay is enough to warrant double the price. Maybe an extra $2 or $3, but not double. But that's just me.
Other than that, it's a really great game. In my top 10% of favorites ^_^
I recommend this game!

It's a fun little game. Not one of my favorites, but it's enjoyable as a hidden object game.
Nice to play an HOG in a nice vacation and tropic setting.
My only beef with this one is that it's one of those that, every so often they will hide an object in such a way that you think "There's no way ANYONE would have eve seen that!"
Oh yes and there's not all that much of a story to it, if that bothers anyone. You just search around while looking for the jewel thief and that's it. No suspense, twists or turns really. Didn't bother me though.
I recommend this game!

The first in the genre that I played and did not like. It's terribly short and barely even worth it even on a $3 special.
Characters are 2 dimensional and uninteresting and the art is rather sub-par.
I don't recommend this game.
