This game offers a wide variety of puzzles in one place. You can play the ones that you like and are good at, while skipping the other kinds. The variety keeps it from getting boring. Very relaxing, enjoyable experience.

These types of HO games are great entertainment for all levels of players. With the extra levels included in the CE, it has a lot of bang for the buck. I would like to suggest one improvement. Since it's nearly impossible to play the game from beginning to end in one sitting, there should be a checkmark system of some kind to keep our place, instead of having to count balls to figure out where we left off. This is particularly needed when getting into the CE content/unlimited play, as there is nothing that shows which scenes have been played and which haven't. This improvement would be great for all games in this series. I recommend this game.
I played the full hour of the demo but I'm still not sure if this is a buy for me. I don't like games that require a lot of guessing instead of logic to solve. Thankfully, there are plenty of hints available, but that can also be a negative thing, frustrating. All I can say is, play the demo and decide for yourself.
I agree with lots of the posted reviews. However, if you're a die hard fan like me, these issues can be overlooked for the ability to play a straight-forward hidden object game. There are too few of these game around and when one comes out, it is worth overlooking some minor problems, I'll be buying this game and looking forward to better games in the future.
Chain-type matching is one of my favorite forms of match 3 games, so I was glad to find this game. However, I got to level 3 and could not get past the squares that needed an "atomic explosion" to clear. The instructions for this game leave a lot to be desired. What is an atomic explosion and how is it created? I've chained enough cells together to get the sticks of dynamite, but that doesn't clear the atomic cells. If an atomic explosion takes more that the number of cells chained together to get the dynamite, they must be very rare indeed. Yet level 3 contained 20 or more of these atomic cells that needed to be cleared. I give up. Challenging is fun; impossible is ridiculous. Nothing more frustrating than playing a game whose rules are hidden from you.
So not everyone is good at every kind of mini-game/puzzle, so we are given a skip button for those times. Now I find out that, because I'm not perfect, I can't play the CE contents?? Totally unfair. Sounds like the carrot and stick approach. Shame on y'all. I will never buy another game in this series because of this.
This game, to me, is stressful and therefore not enjoyable. Not all items are on the board at the beginning but appear as you play. Some items keep moving around and between these two factors, I found myself going back and forth over the scene until I was dizzy. This is my pet peeve with more traditional HOGs. Please don't send me back to the same scene over and over again to find things that were already there but not asked for by the game. I did admire the ingenuity used to hide items and got some chuckles out of the gameplay. However, redundancy of movement just frustrates me. I didn't finish the trial. I don't recommend this game but I do recommend that each person play the trial before making up their own mind.

I would ordinarily given this game a 4-star rating but felt the need to bump it up to offset all the negativity. As the title says, this game is just as good or just as bad as you want it to be. IMHO it is just as good as any other game in this genre. Yes, some of the pics are pretty simple, but I don't particularly like a really complicated pic with teeny, tiney color spots that you need a magnifier for. These kinds of pics also take a far amount of time to complete which isn't necessarily relaxing to me. So this is a buy for me and I hope others will take a chance on this game as a result of my review.

I look forward to every release in this series as well as the other related sets, Cruise Director, etc. The graphics are amazing and the puzzles are very challenging. The characters are realistic and the variety of HO's and puzzles make me want to keep playing until I've finished the game. But then I'm sad because I have to wait until the next one is released.
You can't go wrong with purchasing this game or any of the others in the series.
