Based on the one hour demo, this is not the game for me. It breaks the one rule I have for games; a linear progression. I really dislike having to go back and forth to the same scene over and over again, each time picking up something different that I couldn't pick up the first time I was there. I got pretty tired of the "I can't use that YET" message. Well, why can't I pick it up anyway and leave it in my inventory until it can be used? Guess the developers didn't think of that option. Or maybe they tried to hide a bad game by having you chasing your tail so you won't know how bad it really is. My head is spinning after just an hour, and I don't need that. Don't waste your time and particularly not your money, or even a coupon. Just not worth it.

I really enjoy this series of games, particularly because they are getting better with each one that is released. I believe my review of a previous game pointed out the fact that almost all the locations were in the Far East. With this last game, they have added a few more different locations. I remember one that was set in Australia. However, there are many more locations in the Far East than any other location and I think this should be corrected. I also like the new pop-up screen before each location that tells us a little about it. Keep up the good work, designers, and I will continue to buy everyone that you release.

This game is simple and relaxing, just what is needed in this chaotic world. The colors are varied and bright. The pics get more complex the farther into the game you go. If you aren't a fan of polygons, then of course this game isn't for you, but that doesn't mean it is a bad game. It just appeals to different people. But again, it is relaxing and that is always a good thing.

One of the reviewers talked about all the changes she wanted the developer to make before she would give their games 5 stars. What other games are there in this series? The Pixel Art games aren't them and a search of "pixel" on Big Fish did not bring up any similar games by 8 Floors Entertainment. Were the previous games on Mac? Regardless of the lack of any previous games to compare, I can definitely say this game is horrible. I was only able to tolerate 5 minutes of the trial. The pictures are so simple that I would think this was developed for children. And, again, my pet peeve, we are not allowed to play the pics out of order. If I pay for the game, then I should be able to play it in any order I choose. The fact that they have grouped the layouts into 4 (5?) categories only helps a little in being able to choose what I want to play because once you go into any given category, you are still required to play the layouts in order. Another issue is that it does not have the option to double click on a series of connecting same numbers to be able to color the whole batch at once. Since I do play a lot of pixel art games, I can definitely say that this game can't hold a candle to other games by other developers, like T1 Entertainment. I tend to agree with one of the other reviewers who asked what incentive was given to the reviewers who rated this game with 5 stars. Or maybe they played a different game than the one I played. Don't waste your time or money on this game. I do not recommend this game and I can't say this strongly enough.

Isn't there always an exception? Regardless, this is the best painting game I have played here on Big Fish. If you are really, really accurate, once you start the pic, you never have to raise your hand from your mouse/pad. The game immediately moves you to the next number IF you get all of the previous number filled in. This is a challenge in itself. The pics are kinda zany and the colors are very bright. Now for the exception: why can't I move to any pic in the game instead of having to play all the pics in a series before the next series is unlocked? Makes me feel like Big Brother is alive and well. We are all different and not all of the pics appeal to everyone. Heah, I paid for the game, why can't I play it my way? Please, developer, remove this restriction and send an update out. Then I can truely say this game is THE ABSOLUTE BEST.

I spent 5 minutes and was so frustrated that I quit. As near as I could tell, the graphics that fade in and out on the edges of the "card" are the objects that need to be found in the card, but I'm not sure that is correct. I was unable to make a correct selection. I think it is because I am not fast enough, but I'm not sure. I set the game to play with no time limits, but do you have to find the item before the "clue" fades out? And I didn't see any objects that exactly matched the fading graphics. Or maybe I just didn't see it, because I was thinking I had to find it before the graphic faded out. Or maybe there is only one object that exactly matches the fading graphic and I just never found it. So, bottom line, I couldn't figure out how to play the game and got too frustrated after 5 minutes to continue. Perhaps one of the reviewers could tell us how to find an object correctly. Where is the Game Forums when we need them? I have better things to do than "guess" about the basics of a game.

This is a very relaxing game that rewards you with beautiful, delightful pictures. The colors are numerous and bright. The combination of colors used for each picture is interesting and makes you rethink what colors can be used together. And the biggest selling point is that you can drag to color the pics; you don't have to click on each part to color it with the same color. This allows you to color each picture in a pretty fast way so that you don't get bored nor wear your finger out. I certainly hope Big Fish will release more games in this series, of which there are several. I definitely recommend this game.
I played the demo then purchased the game and have played about half of it. I really like finding the 3 cats and there seems to be a horse in almost every scene. However, I was disappointed in the overwhelming number of Asian scenes as well as having to find the same item over and over again in the dlifferent scenes. There are lots of items in each scene, so repetition is not necessary. In addition, it would be nice to see some info on the locations. I'm not disappointed that I purchased it, but hope it improves if more games are released.

My review is based on playing the one-hour demo as well as purchasing and playing all the previous games in this series. This one is the very best one yet. The graphics are so colorful and bright, the items are harder to find than in previous games, and the information on the Mexican locations is more complete. I also enjoy trying to find the little turtle in each scene that gets me an additional 500 points. This is a straight forward HOG, my favorite kind of game. There are several variations of the HO list for each scene; words, silhouette, scrambled, etc. This is a very enjoyable game that can be played for many hours. The only thing that would add to this game would be an unlimited mode of play where all of the items could be found. I highly recommend this game.

Since pennmom36 always writes a book for her reviews, I won't go into any of the play characteristics of the game. All I want to say is that this is the best game I have ever played in this genre, hidden object games. The extras in the CE make it a classic. I may have to play this game more than once, something I've never considered before. Playing the one hour demo will not allow you to sample the extras contained in the CE, so I recommend this game highly, regardless of the demo. It's the best!
