This is why I play HOGs. OMG this has so many HOS and they are loaded and not easy. It also has a great story.
I think there are 20 objects in each HOS and they aren't repeated (although they could be). Most of the objects are really hidden well, but as you get the hang of it, finding them gets a little easier. Great designs!!
The story takes place in the beautiful city of New Orleans where Visage is causing chaos and you, as the detective have to solve his plan for global fogging!
Lots of scenes and every new room has a HOS. After all that's why we play these types of games.
You'll love this game from beginners to pros.
I recommend this game!

Nightfall Mysteries: Black Heart
Stop the evil Vansig family before they point their vengeful wrath at your friend Christine in Nightfall Mysteries: Black Heart!
Just finished the last Nightfall Mystery and loved it, but hated for it to end.
Great HOS -- a few were repeated, but even those weren't too easy.
Hint's recharge quickly. No directional hints, but it will show you where to look in a particular scene and tell you when that scene is finished for the time being.
There is a map, and although it doesn't whisk you to the area (you have to find it yourself) it was great to have.
The journal was also very helpful. I found it more helpful than most HOGs. I used it often.
I recommend this game!

Fear for Sale: Sunnyvale Story
Appease terrifying ghosts before they kidnap and punish the entire city of Sunnyvale in this dark and mysterious Hidden Object game!
All Fear for Sale games are fun and pretty easy to play. There are endless hints which recharge quickly. Love the direction hint availability. I wish there had been a map. I loved the surprise ending.

Fear For Sale: Mystery of McInroy Manor
Emma Roberts has been tasked with writing a story about an old haunted manor. Help her explore the McInroy Estate!

I've played both the Dark Canvas games and loved them both. The HOGs (hidden object games) or if you prefer HOS hidden object scenes) are very good. They are interactive where you have to use things you find again in the scene.
The story line kept me wanting to play on. Most of the mini games are easy which I loved, but I did skip some of them but not as many as I have in other games.
There is a map and BF offers a handy walkthrough. The walkthroughs come in very handy when I've been away from a game -- it allows me to read what happened previously. I also keep it open and if I get stuck I just alt-tab and go right to it.
I really wish there were more of these games. I loved this game but loved Brush with Death more. I bought both SE versions of these games.
I recommend this game!

Dark Canvas: A Brush With Death
Uncover the mystery behind an artist’s deadly talent!
I've played both the Dark Canvas games and loved them both. The HOGs (hidden object games# or if you prefer HOS #hidden object scenes) are very good. I really had to look for a long time and in many games I used hints more than once! I sort of pride myself in that I usually don't use the hints for HOGs, but these are really cleaver and some of the HOGs are played more than once and I still had trouble.

I liked the ability to use the hint which showed direction instead of telling me what to do as in some other games.

I really wish there were more of these games as I think this is my favorite at this time.

The Far Kingdoms
Help Princess Arianna save her kingdom and defeat the Dark Witch in this clever hidden-object adventure and match-3 game.
If you love HOGs don't waste your time on this silly story. There are a lot of hard match-3 games and in order to skip them you have to shuffle it 3 times before you can skip it. There are no voices. Map is useless. Hints are ok. Mini games are not always clear -- use BF walkthrough. I was so glad when I completed this game. It wore me out. I play to have fun which this wasn't but because I'm a little OCD I couldn't stop.
I don't recommend this game.

Mystery Chronicles: Betrayals of Love
After the Countess is discovered dead, it’s up to you to find her murderer in Mystery Chronicles: Betrayals of Love!
I didn't like the hints. I'm used to free hints for at least my next move but not in this game -- you're told what do next. There is no map and the game is a big maze. I ended up making a map of my own. The HOPs are hard only because the graphics are so poor. I own it but won't play it again.
I don't recommend this game.

Hidden Wonders of the Depths
Navigate your way through an underwater world with a liquid mix of Mahjong, Hidden Object, and Match 3 delight.
This has become my favorite game. I've played it at least 5 times. It's easy to play and watch TV at the same time. Nothing to task the brain, but I'm always trying to better my score. You can't go wrong buying this game. I wish I was more familiar with match 3 games to pick out and buy others like this. I'm just downloading II and III to see how they play.
