I liked this game, even more than I liked the first . . . The story line, such as it is, meshed much better with this game, & promises more weirdness in the next installment of the Haunted Hotel series that follows this one . . . It is, however, mostly going from room to room finding hidden objects & solving puzzles, with cut scenes interspersed . . .
The Hidden Object scenes are untimed, but with limited hints (five per scene) . . . The artwork is good, but not as good as I would like to see for trying to find very small items, which are in abundance in each area (maximum of 30) . . . The puzzles are mostly easy, but fun . . .
This is a very short game . . . Very short . . .
One thing really annoyed me - the background sounds . . . I turned them off . . .
I recommend this game!

Amazing Adventures: The Forgotten Dynasty
Travel to China in search of the Forgotten Dynasty. Can you piece together the clues and uncover the ancient secret?
Another Amazing Adventure - this time in the vast country of China . . . There are 25 different scenes to find hidden objects & solve puzzles (which aren't really difficult# . . . As with earlier adventures, you return a number of times to each scene to find a new set of ten items, after which you get to solve different puzzles: such as memory games, jigsaw puzzles, tile swaps, sliding blocks & match-three challenges . . . Also, if you find all 25 yins & 25 yangs, you unlock unlimited seek-&-find games & a bonus match three challenge . . .
You also get a journal entry after each mission #2-5 completed scenes) that has an interesting fact about China . . . For example, did you know that there are only about 1000 pandas surviving in the wild . . . ?
A different (supernatural) take on the Columbus story . . . The artwork is very lovely & clear, & the music, though not altogether historically accurate to the 1490s, is mostly pleasant . . . Though fairly routine, some items are difficult to find in the hidden object scenes, which makes them appropriately challenging . . . Similarly, the puzzles are moderately difficult, with a couple of them being of a particular challenge . . . The story mostly makes sense, & as the game play is broken up into chapters, all of the going back-&-forth is contained to whatever chapter you are playing at the time . . .
The length of the game is of medium duration, so it makes for a fun game to play in an afternoon or so . . .
This is a really fun game, that was way too short . . . ! The hidden object scenes & puzzles were at most, moderately difficult . . . The only one I had any trouble with was a version of Go, the Chinese/Japanese strategy board game of black & white stones . . . Each chapter is a self-contained adventure based on a painting, so you do quite a bit of "running around," but it's confined within that particular painting/level . . . Once you find the missing item that is needed to bring harmony back to that level, you progress on to the next chapter . . .
This is an untimed game, with fabulous artwork . . .
Also, of note, the game tells you if you are all set in a particular location for the time being, or if you are completely finished there . . . !
I recommend this game!

Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb
Search for hidden objects and circumvent unique puzzle traps to recover the Lost Tomb of Ancient Egypt.
This is a fairly challenging hidden object game, especially given the size of the objects to be found & the overall screen resolution of the scenes . . . Nevertheless, it's worth the effort, & if you find all 21 scarabs, you unlock the Secret Game Mode, which allows you unlimited game play in each location . . .
The game is pretty straight-forward: you play a hidden object location, & then solve a puzzle, which is usually a memory match round, or a jigsaw puzzle . . . You can play this all timed, or untimed (relaxed) . . .
The end puzzle is moderately difficult, but if you play around with it with some patience, it's solvable . . .

I really liked this game as a change of pace . . . ! The hidden object scenes weren't overly taxing, & the puzzles were fairly easy . . . In fact, the game provides a silhouette for any particular item to be identified, & the solutions to the puzzles are generally found on notes, letters & graffiti that are left lying about the castle . . .
Untimed, this game provides lovely artwork in the settings & scenes, & the ambient music is appropriately eerie & romantic, as befits the gothic themes of the story . . .

An awesome sequel, with VERY crowded hidden object scenes . . . Some items are very well hidden & small, so get out your reading glasses for playing these levels . . . When you collect candy canes, Santas & other Christmas objects, you get a short choral bar, which is always loads of fun . . . ! The puzzles are easy, so it's a great, untimed game for kids . . .
The graphics are very colorful, which adds to the challenge of finding some of those tiny objects . . . !
I love Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, so I snatched this right up . . . This is mostly a kid's game, I think, as the hidden object scenes & puzzles are fairly easy . . . The story is an interesting take on Scrooge & Marley & the Christmas spirits, & consequently the game play requires quite a bit of going back & forth in time - but you really can't get lost . . .
The art work is crisp & lovely, even though the living room scene & the church are recycled from a similar Christmas game . . .
Overall, a fun, untimed game to play with the kids . . . !
Wow - Lots of levels to play through, with varying degrees of difficulty . . . ! Some levels are particularly hard, especially those with annoying corner spots . . . The power-ups, including rockets, bombs & blizzards, show up in places that don't always help, which adds to the challenge . . . You can play this game untimed, & on some levels, that's a good thing . . .
The background art is particularly fabulous . . . !
I recommend this game!

This is a straight-forward hidden object game, with moderately difficult scenes to complete, & fairly easy puzzles to solve to progress along in the adventure . . . If you find all 50 skulls, you earn unlimited search in the hidden object scenes, & you get to play lots of match three rounds . . .
The end puzzle is cool, & you can play this game timed or untimed . . . As a bonus, after completing each level, you get a fun fact about the Caribbean . . . !
