This review is just from the trial, so no guarantees.... But I was really impressed by the actual game-play. Was afraid it might be just a 'clone', and it owes a bit in general style and sounds to others, but the developers have worked hard at creating their own flavor, the game play is really great fun, and the premise and the formatting of the boards is very different, and well thought out. Very much worth at least the trial for those who like lighter-flavored match 3s!
I had a very short list of games to buy after the first of the year. To my surprise, this one may actually have moved its way into the top three....
I recommend this game!

Not the greatest game, but not bad either. And it had a couple of things I really liked. Some common sense approaches! A locked cabinet... You have a crowbar. You don't go looking for the blue key with the yellow jewel. You use the crowbar. Ta-Da! You search in the back yard, and later work into a room adjoining the yard, and need something from out there. Do you go through the long route through all the rooms back to the yard, and then make your way slowly back? Nope, you open the window! Then go in and out from there. This kind of thing I like, and it is all too rare.
It is shortish, but I do find the story engaging. Had to buy it at the 2.99 special. It has been more than worth it.
I haven't found objects that hard to find, or the scenes that dark or obscure, and I am usually picky about those things. Hate them. Haven't run across an impossible puzzle, but I haven't quite finished yet.
Ok, back to the game....
I recommend this game!

I liked this one a lot, but unless you are also 'of a certain age', the nostalgia of the story may not hit you. And this one is all about the story. You want to find out what happens next.
The finding and placing of objects is ok, and the scenes are nice. But it is short, and replay value is minimal. If it were a lot longer, and carried farther along in time, it would be well worth buying for those of us into nostalgia. Not sure it is worth it, as is. But I did enjoy it, once!

Instead of looking at a busy room full of stuff, you start with a blank page, and get to view a piece of the object, then another, then another, until you can guess what the thing is from the partial view. The more incomplete the picture when you figure out the object, the more you score. Very different, and lots of fun! Also has sections, with a standard 'list', but instead of finding the object, the list is of missing parts that need to be placed in the view. Again, different. Lots of fun!

I play this one all the time. If you're after a complex storyline or huge bangs and flashes, this is not the one. But if you want fun and relaxing game play, you'll love this one! Earlier levels are great with coffee in the morning. They get more challenging as you progress, and on the later ones, you had better be wide awake, paying attention, and thinking carefully! But great fun! And Aidan is so very encouraging (grins)!

Great fun, relaxing, and I do love creating the garden. (And playing in the garden, too.) Have played this for hours, and will for more. Objects to find shuffle and rearrange sufficiently that replays do not just become 'memory tests'. I do wish that there was more color, more choices, more interest in the garden beds themselves, and a bit less in the way of 'garden accessories'.... Ah, well. Can't have it all. Still love it, and have even enabled the screensaver option for the garden.

This is one I play again and again. The game play on the moving board is wonderfully addictive, and just complex enough to be fun, but no adrenaline is required! Add in the exploration of the habitats and the wildlife.... Marvelous!
Wish they would come up with similar games for a few other places in the world. I would buy them in a heartbeat!
