No offense to the other reviewer (only one other review up to this point), but I have to disagree with, well, pretty much everything they said about this game. I downloaded and gave it a try, just to make sure. I found the puzzles pleasing and colorful, for the most part, and I've always liked the way these puzzles play, so I'm taking the time to urge others to give it a try, in spite of the negative review.

Fun game, great purchase on the Daily Deal and would gladly have spent a coupon for it. Flows smoothly and logically - good game for beginners. Experienced players might find it too easy, or like me, just enjoy the ride. Only con: too short! I'm going to check out the next game in the series to see if developers listen to feedback and beef up any sequels.

Loved the scenes, so much interesting detail. Loved the storyline. It's a little on the easy side, but that's okay, not every game needs to be a mind-bender. Immortal Love: Black Lotus provided me with a few hours of pleasure during the coronavirus lockdown in April 2020.
I have always liked the games in this series, and liked "Kingdom of Death" even more than usual. Visuals were awesome, sound was fantastic (one scene in which a soul was screaming in agony was all TOO realistic - made me shudder!). Hidden object scenes were varied and interesting. Puzzles were on the easy side (just the way I like them - I didn't have to skip very many of them). I actually would have given this 4.5 stars if that were an option - knocking a little off my score for some slow reaction time when selecting objects. But that one flaw wasn't enough to keep me from thoroughly enjoying the game! As always, try before you buy...
I found the gameplay to be a little awkward and it took me about an hour to really get the feel of it. I almost quit a few times but I hate to waste $$ spent on a game (even at $2.99), so I stuck with it, and I'm glad I did! The storyline kept me interested all the way through, even when I was still cussing at how clunky the game seemed. Overall a good time. Don't give up on it too soon!
I first played this as an SE in 2014. Today I replayed the game and started to submit a 5 Star review. To my surprise I found I had already given the game a 4 Star review after the first time through. The game is five years older so why would I enjoy it so much more? Because I just played the first two games in the series, and the storyline in this third game now had more meaning to me - it made all the difference between 4 and 5 Stars. Since I can't resubmit a review for the SE, I am doing so for the CE, which has to be even more worthy of the rating. (You'll have to decide for yourself if it is worthy of the extra cost.) As always, try before you buy! As the disparate ratings prove, we all bring different expectations to a game.
I just posted my review of the first game in this series and went on to play this one right away because I enjoyed the storyline so much. At first I was disappointed by "Masked Intent" because the graphics weren't great and the gameplay was awkward until I got the feel for it. But by the time I was halfway through the game I was glad to have stuck with it. Moving on to third game in the series now! Stay tuned for next review. And remember to try before you buy (but don't give up on this series too soon!).
I picked up a couple of games from The Secret Order series on the Daily Deal and decided to use a free coupon for the first game in the series so I could play them in sequence. Not all series require this, but I felt this one would. I'm glad I did it this way! The story is great. "New Horizon" is from 2011 and is clunky at times and heavy on HOS (hidden object scenes), but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just finished the second game in the series also and will be posting my review of it also. As always, try before you buy (different strokes and all that...).

I bought this game in spite of several poor reviews, and I'm glad I did! Enjoyed every minute of it. It's true that it's a short game, and a simple one, but I was lucky and caught it as the Deal of the Day. If you are new to HOPA's (Hidden Object / Puzzle / Adventure games), Chimeras: New Rebellion would be a good choice for you. I'm an experienced player but still enjoy lighter fare on occasion and will certainly replay this one, working all the puzzles next time (they were simple but I still skipped several, just because it's a lazy sort of day). As always, and especially since this game has such mixed reviews, be sure to check out the demo before you buy!

I've been with BigFish for several years and own a few hundred games. Dreadful Tales: The Space Between is the best one I've purchased in months. I decided to get the Collector's Edition and this is one of those gems worthy of the extra $$. I went through the game and the bonus game in kind of a rush the first time - I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. As soon as I finished, I went through it again at a slower pace, taking time to enjoy the extra features. This is a game I will dust off and play again in the future. Give it a try - I think you'll be glad you took the time.
