I was pleasantly surprised that this game had a Mystery Trackers agent in a Haunted Hotel story. I get tired of playing a female lead and I've always enjoyed Mystery Trackers games. This Haunted Hotel game had a good story, I liked the graphics and I even liked the music, but the game was very short, probably because the gameplay was pretty straightforward with fairly easy puzzles and hidden object scenes.
I played the first game and gave it four stars, but this sequel is worthy of five. I loved the storyline and the puzzles are great - there are so many of them and can be skipped within just a few seconds so you just pick the ones you like to play. Some (maybe all?) of the hidden object scenes can also be skipped. Then for a bonus, you can replay any of the puzzles you enjoyed. The hint system is great so there should be no need to refer to a walkthrough. Fun game, I really enjoyed it after I got past the slow start.
Complete dangerous missions amid dazzling landscapes of prehistoric Earth and alien worlds. Can you complete these thrilling puzzles in order to return home?
Enjoyed this game. Minigames were different from the norm, most of them skippable. Achievements and replayable minigames are a bonus for those who like that sort of thing. I've already purchased the sequel.
Simple game ~ the kind I want to play when I'm on hold on the phone or even while I'm talking on the phone (you only need a few active brain cells to complete a round). Will be great for my mom who enjoys Match 3 & Mahjong with no timers or complicated bells & whistles to detract from her fun. And NO, I'm not suggesting that Mom only has a few active brain cells! I hope she doesn't read this review and take it the wrong way... What the hey, I'll submit it anyway and count on her sense of humor to keep me out of the dog house.
I played for 20 minutes and went through several Match 3 rounds, a quick game of Mahjong, a quicker game of Sudoku (the developers could have put a little effort into that part), and a simple picture puzzle. Bright colors and simple sounds. I'll add it to the list of games I can play for a few minutes with my first cup of tea each day.
As always, try it ~ you might like it! Then again it might annoy you to no end. You'll never know unless you give it a go.
I recommend this game!

Black Viper: Sophia's Fate
Cop by day, formidable thief by night: Sophia, aka Black Viper, is a young woman leading a double life.
So much better than the glossy games that are released monthly by some developers! Rough around the edges but that just made it more appealing to me. The story was entertaining and the heroine was sassy and sexy. I had to refer to a walkthrough twice and used the hint several times throughout the game. Most games I'lve played lately require little imagination or effort to complete, so this was a real treat. Try it, you just might love it!
I recommend this game!

Mystery of Neuschwanstein
Accompany Sarah and Professor Adler through the stunning rooms, halls and cellars of the historical castle of Neuschwanstein!
Rarely does a game keep my interest all the way through to the end. I tend to jump around and play several games at once as I quickly get bored with one and then another. I almost always finish them all but only after several sessions. This game was a gem - I played it exclusively until both the main game and bonus game were completed. If you don't enjoy reading you probably won't like the game as there is a ton of dialogue (which can always be skipped), but I'm an avid reader so I enjoyed it. Hidden object scenes were challenging and puzzles were fun but could be skipped without any wait time. I had to refer to a walkthrough once near the start of the game but that didn't deter me from purchasing it. I'm surprised at the poor ratings the game received from other players. Always try before you make a decision!
This game was one of those that I definitely enjoyed everything about without being overly impressed by any part of. It was fun to play with good graphics and just my speed as far as the puzzles went; I didn't have to use the skip button once. The storyline was easy to follow and had a satisfactory ending. There is an interactive map, which is a big plus for me. I liked the baby griffin, and using ordinary objects in unusual ways. I'm going to try the other games in this series and look for more games by the same developer.
When this game first came out in the Collector's Edition, I tried a few minutes of the demo and there was something I didn't like about it. Guess I was having a bad day because when the Standard Edition was released I gave it another try and loved everything about it! Now I wish I bought the CE instead of settling for the SE.
Reveal the twisted plan of a deranged magician who has his own Vendetta against the world! And uncover a secretive world of magicians and discover the power they have held and passed down through the centuries!
I was lucky to catch this on the daily special. It was well worth the few dollars I spent on it, much better than many of the games I have bought on special. Graphics are good, storyline is okay, puzzles were just my speed. At first I thought the map was useless, then I caught on to the fact that you have to actually click on an area to see if there are any actions available there.
I noticed that a few of the poor reviews this game received were due to technical issues, and I'm surprised they were posted, as it drags the average rating down, and is most often due to the player's computer, not the game itself.
Overall, this game was a nice way to spend a few hours, and is on my replay list.
Wonderful artwork, and all the bonus features one should expect in a CE (I usually settle for the SE unless there are a lot of extras, and this game has them all). The only drawback is the level of challenge could be higher. So far (based on the demo) the mini-games and HOS are very easy to complete but they're still enjoyable.
