Standard story about missing child but the beautiful setting in rural Japan makes the game a rare delight. Gameplay is lots of fun and moves along nicely. This is the first game I've played where I turned the background sounds up high-- very relaxing nature sounds. Truly wonderful to be able to play mah-jong instead of finding hidden objects.

Just when I think all the games are clones of each other, a great one like this comes out. I loved feeling like I was in a science fiction adventure rather than a horror movie. The scenes were gorgeous. There was a lot of interaction with believable. interesting characters. I especially like the quality of female characters which seem lacking lately in many games. I loved the Nubi character helper. Will play again.
Colorful fun, great gameplay. Each level is different with a lot going on but not so much it's overwhelming or irritating. One of the best to come out recently and unique.
Easy object searches and minigames. Less insipid than most kid-oriented games. I especially appreciated the lack of focus on finding sweets and the games had educational value-maps, flags, and numbers .
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
The latest in my favorite current series went beyond my expectations. The video and sample shots for some reason didn't entice me but I tried the game because it's my favorite series and bought it cause the trial was great. What did I like? First, everything worked perfectly, which of course it should, but I can't say that about all the games recently offered by BF. Then, I loved the story. I got so involved that I felt I was there, rather than the ho-hum, this is so done before feeling I get playing many new games. I loved the feeling of being on an adventure rather than in a horror movie. There was plenty of suspense but none of this dragged out I've got to hurry tedium. The story was never lost or bogged down in endless interactions with objects. I loved the real-world villain and cared about the good people. The visuals were clear, colorful and realistic without being overly pretty and the HOPs were different and fun. And to top it off, a satisfying ending. Doesn't get any better than this.
I'm always looking for a new twist on solitaire but I have other games with the same gameplay (1 up 1 down) with better , funnier, cuter graphics and a more interesting story. Won't play in full screen mode on my computer and when I clicked on the instructions to make them go away it selected the wrong card and I couldn't send it back. I deleted after that, during the second hand.
This is my first of this series. I don't like romance and was pleasantly surprised to find the story a good mystery. I only tried it because of the snow and will buy the SE when it comes out. Gorgeous settings and a variety of puzzles, including my favorite, FROGs, kept me immersed.
Based on the whole game. I was not sure after playing the free trial that I wanted to buy the game but am so glad I did. It started out a standard story of a lost loved one with horror/occult overtones but turned into much more--a real mystery with many surprises. The action stayed related to the story and moved it along throughout. This is a problem I'd had with other ERS games, so much so that I was hesitant to buy. 2 games that I bought that started out so promising deteriorated into meaningless unlocking and back and forth object interactions, but not so with this game. I liked that Spanish setting too. The best ERS yet!
