I beta tested this game but didn't remember why I had mixed feelings. I loved working with the team and discovering their individual personalities (I'm not a viewer). I liked the story-it seems like a mystery rather than a horror story. I liked the hidden object scenes with realistic modern and historical items. But the last hidden object scene I played featured a dying, twitching little bird. I play games for fun, and while I like some spooky stuff, don't like grim, sad or depressing games. Especially when it involves animals. So, while the game has many positives, I'll not buy it and gave it only 2 stars.
I don't recommend this game.

Vampire Ventures
Join Vampire Val as she embarks on her quest through long forgotten empires to find her kidnapped father.
One of the best match 3 games of the year. I could tell from the art and gameplay, without checking, that this game is from the developers of Memorabilia: Mia's Mysterious Memory Machine, and Kitten and Puppy Sanctuary. Everything about this game is fun and original-- the gameplay, story and artwork. There is always a lot going on but powerups are introduced on-by-one so you don't get overwhelmed. One thing I particularly like is the powerups recharge quickly--they are meant to be used, not saved up.
Based on the trial. A definite buy for me. A change from the usual HOG mechanical clones, with an engaging story with a mystery. Her friend is not a witch but there is evil magic afoot. Truly spooky. didn't want to stop playing. Hand drawn art.
Enhanced and modernized sequel to Chronicles of Albian. So far even better, based on 60 minute trial. A definate buy. A lot going on. Funny characters. Love the style of hand-drawn art. I just hope Grandma Gwendolyn doesn't harass me to buy the most expensive upgrades like she did late in the 1st game! So if you're looking for bright, pretty fun instead of grim, check it out.
After reading the reviews I found this surpiosingly enjoyable. A fun, suspenseful story added to the enjoyment of the card games. I love the fortune telling room!
A break from dark games. Cresp, bright graphics and a great story with twists and turns. I especially loved playing the farmers market where you find stuff for the cutomers.
I love the Treasure Seekers games. I didn't like the demo of this one as much as the others, partly becuase Tom was acting obnoxious. But playing it was just as good, and he learned some manners from the undead. I love the sense of adventure rather than dread--not a horror story or dark and depressing though there are ghosts, mummies, etc. Nellie and Tom help everyone and work together. Good clear graphics and fun gameplay except for caging the bird, where a cursor change is needed.
I recommend this game!

Solitaire Twist Collection
With over 500 maps, 5 types of cards, 5 backgrounds and 3 game modes, Solitaire Twist is will throw you for a loop!
After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the game. Standard Mahjong-style matching. The cards with the alien fronts made me smile and I wanted to keep playing after the demo was done.
I very rarely like or buy timed match-3 games and even when I do I can't finish all the levels so it was a rare treat that I could. So I loved the fact that it was easy (or forgiving) enough. If you're faster you can make more money faster and buy Granny's home sooner but if you're slow like me you still can earn money and "flip" the house even if you don't complete it. I will replay so I can pay more attention to the renovation rather than just rushing to match.
