I like my games to at least last me a good 4-5 hours, but this one only took a couple hours to finish.... It IS a LOT of fun though, and quite a bit different from most of the games out there... No spooky suspense for those who dislike that.... I do recommend this game but sure wish it lasted longer....
I recommend this game!

Not much challenge here if that's what you're after.... Mostly seek and find (HO). I agree that it's a bit short, but it's worth getting at the sale price. This is one you can play while watching tv.... another in what I call "solitaire types".... If you just want a game to relax and wind down, this one's good for that....
I recommend this game!

Well worth the DD price.... As stated before, great for Oz and HO fans. The HO scenes, tho mostly junk piles (but not always) were still pretty easy. There was a little too much HO for me, but I still enjoyed the game. The graphics are clear and the items fairly easy to find.
However, if they're going to include HO's, I prefer that all the items pertain to the game being played and the time period in history, that their size is appropriate, and that they aren't just piles of junk -- but that's very rare, so I'll just dream on about it.... ;)
I consider myself an "intermediate" game player, but didn't require the walkthru for this one at all - I was able to go through the entire game (reading everything as I went along, as always) in short order (a bit too short) and with only a few hints.
I appreciated the map but wish it was interactive (sigh). Also, love when they tell you the scene is complete. Very little running around - rarely have to backtrack more than a couple scenes, which I also appreciate.
The puzzles are good ones, but again, not terribly challenging. They DO make you use your brain, but they don't fry it.... ;)
If you're not a fan of Oz, don't like witches & evil sorcerers, or want a real challenge from your games -- this one's not for you.
However, if you prefer a more relaxing game that still requires your attention, you'll probably enjoy it. Overall, I enjoyed the game. My only caution is that, due to how short it is, you might want to wait and get it on sale...
I recommend this game!

It's not for everyone.... but it's a nice relaxing little game with plenty to do. It's a really good game for kids or for adults who just want to pass the time with little challenge.... kinda like Solitaire, y'know? I'd have given it 3.5 stars if I could've, but couldn't really give it a full 4. It's not terribly challenging but not soooo easy that you can just breeze through without a thought either. There's little animation, but the graphics are still well done. The story follows the book, as stated before.
I recommend this game!

I noticed one of the reviews mentioned this is an "old style" game.... I've only been playing these games a few months, but Green Moon is so very different from anything I've played before and so thoroughly enjoyable, it is hard to believe it's older technology... in fact, it's the first game I gave five stars in every single category.
No HO scenes (yay) - just pure adventure with a few very enjoyable minigames - and very interactive. I definitely needed the walkthrough but avoided it as much as possible, because exploring this game and the many, many beautiful areas to visit was just too fun.
One thing though, make good use of the "save game" feature.... like before every mini-game... because if you lose, you'll have to go back to the last autosave to continue. You'll save yourself a LOT of grief and frustration if you simply take this step. The game does autosave at the end of every major section so don't bother using your save except for the minigames.
Also, if you get stuck in what I call the "topsy turvy dream room" on the moon (like I did), which was not even mentioned on the walkthrough, the only way I could get out of it was to go back to the last save. (btw, sometimes, the latest save is the autosave.)
Since inventory space is limited, as you find things, you might want to note where they are rather than picking everything up. OR you can pick things up and drop them at the house (which is your central command pretty much), but you'll even run out of space to drop things -- so a combination of the two worked well for me....
I recommend reading the general information on the walkthrough before playing and then use the rest of it as it suits you....
I LOVED this game!
I recommend this game!

I love this game.... Pros: FUN! Different for match 3 -- three ways of matching depending what challenge you're doing: standard match 3, sliding rows horizontally or vertically, and rotating blocks of 4 icons. The game is funny, the story is great (but can be skipped if you don't go in for that stuff), and the battles and power-ups require strategy. The game is NOT a huge challenge, so those who prefer brainiac type games, this one's not for you.... but if you want to spend some time that's just pure fun, this is the game! I was pleasantly surprised by this one. There are a couple of cons... I could find nowhere to make the game full-screen (sigh) -- also, it doesn't take long to work through to the end of the game (although part of the problem is that you're having so much fun, the time passes quickly). However, you can continue to build your character once you've completed the game and playing all the various forms of the game once you've "graduated" from Superhero U.... I highly recommend this one to all fans of Match 3 and even some of you who normally aren't....
I recommend this game!

There're too many HO's for my taste, but the story is so good that it keeps you interested and pulls you along for the ride. Again, if you don't like spooky, ghostly type tales - you might want to give it a pass. However, being that King and Koontz are my favorite authors, this is right up my alley! ;) The HO scenes are all junk piles, but at least the stuff is easy to find -- not too dark, blurry, or tiny. It's not an overly challenging game, but it definitely does keep your interest. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

My only problem is that once your library burns down, you have to start over at the beginning.... but! Every game is different... so this is one you can play time and again. It's a little like boggle where you find words in the jumble of letters. I turned the sound way down but I don't buy games for the music - I almost always turn that off or down anyway. I buy them for their fun value. Anyway, this is an enjoyable game and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys word puzzles....

I normally don't like the time management games and the few that I do own, like this one, I play in casual mode.... I just get a kick out of this particular game (also "Royal Envoy"). They're a little silly and repetitive but, for some reason, I really enjoy playing these two games.... ;) Anyway, I recommend "Dragon Keeper" highly if you like TM games and, if you're like me, and don't really care for them that much, try it anyway -- you might be just as surprised that you like it as I was.... ;)
I recommend this game!

Now and then I like a game that gives me a real challenge, and "Echo" definitely does! If you're the type who likes to figure everything out no matter how long it takes, you'll love "Echo" -- however, for me, all I can say is, "Thank Goodness for walkthroughs!!" ;) (You'll have to use a search engine to find one....) I'm nowhere near done playing "Echo" yet, but enjoying every minute... and this is a game that will take a long time to play.... For one thing, it's not one you'll accomplish in one sitting. For me, I'll play for a while then switch to a more casual game.... If you're a curious person who loves history, you'll enjoy all the reading material that comes with it.... (also helps you figure out some things....) If not, you can just ignore it. The graphics are great and the voice-over is good, but the mouths just move regardless of what's being said, which looks weird to me ;) -- Anyway, fair warning..... this one's no walk in the park but, for me, well worth playing!
I recommend this game!
