When I try a game I watch the video, then look at the selected scenes, check the number of stars it has been rated overall and finally I read the reviews. They were, for the most part, very accurate about the graphics, the music, fun factor & story line for this game. For a "dark" parable this one isn't "dark" like one would normally think.
The HOGs are ones I really like, being they are pieces/parts searching to make the whole....
This game is straight forward.-get the key/parts & open the chest, or gate or whatever to move forward. The puzzles are not difficult, with some being more challenging than others.
The music is pretty good. I don't mind the music for this game.
There is a map to show where you are & where tasks still need to be done. There are no "collections" and the hint button recharges quickly enough.
My favorite part was the graphics. I could get lost the Jacks "country.
I have really been enjoying the classic children's stories with a twist. This one is a must buy for me. I know I will play it many times.
I highly recommend this game....5 star all the way.
I recommend this game!

Having played the trial version I am not particularly a fan of this game. It's more personal preference than the game itself. For me there were too many things to do to get the one clue. It became tedious instead of fun.
I guess the level of challenge was ok, but the game didn't hold my interest. It is clear what to do to get to the item to move forward, but it was predictable. Too predictable.
All the specifics were there in good quality format but, they weren't exciting, again for me.
I don't like writing such reviews like this but this is my opinion.
I recommend this game for casual play. Not a "thinkers" game.
I recommend this game!

Classic Beauty & the Beast with a lot of twists. Your Father tries to do a good deed & it backfired. You must now make things right before midnight or your Father will die.
Along the way you confront obstacles, capture/release helpful creatures, solve puzzles, & of course, find items to help you move forward in your rescue efforts, but don't forget the evil woman trying to derail you along your path.
The sound effects, music, & graphics are all top quality This is not a "dark" atmospheric game.
I played in casual mode, since I play for pure enjoyment of games. These games are stress busters for me & if that is how you also play, then you will enjoy this game. I think young girls 8 yrs or up will enjoy this game also.
The sample game is too short.
This is a must buy for me.
I am biased in my opinion of this game being the diehard romantic I am, and Beauty & the Beast is my all time fav girls fairy tail. It is fun for my/your inner child.
I recommend this game.

I really liked this game. The story is standard good vs evil. It captures you from the beginning to find out what happens next, what to do next, where to go next & & where is my next clue to move forward.
The graphics are good, but a little "cloudy". That for me tho', is much better than darker scenes in other games.
The sounds were good. I even left the music on, which is not something I normally do since most music is distracting for me.
The HOGS are very interactive as you need to find one item to use to find the next to use....etc till you get the "useful" item.
The level of challenge is high enough to be interesting but not frustratingly difficult. I play in casual mode for the trial to get a feel for the game. This is a fun game.
This one is a definite buy for me. As it is the CE there are extras which I look forward to playing .
Getting the CE is the best way to go since it has the strategy guide with them if you get stuck.
I recommend this game.

I am blown away by this game. It is fun, keeps you interested & just enough challenge to be worth playing.
The graphics are bright & clear even in a "dark" scene.
The voice overs are good.
The music is appropriate for this game.
HOGs are different types with some straight HOGs
Puzzles are challenging but solveable or you can skip. I play them.
Storyline is usual Damsel in distress, but fun....
Your job is to rescue Calliope.....
The cut scenes are abrupt, & a couple of times when my screen went black I tho't I lost the game. That is the only downwer for me. I haven't used the map or hints so I can't address them. I also haven't done any of the "collecting. I just keep moving forward......
This is a must buy for me. .
I recommend this game!

I didn't finish the Demo & I knew I would buy this game. It was challenging enough to keep me seeking more clues to move forward.
There are very strange things happening with fiery, flying evil masks. Detectives pets are becoming possessed & violent. Some times when you encounter a human the masks appear & the human disappears. As the detective you must solve what is happening.
There are achievements,& drachmas to collect.
The graphics are great. Voice overs are good. The HOS are not difficult & the puzzles are not that difficult either. There aren't too many of either.
I cannot say anything about the music as I mute it almost every game I play. Usually too repetitive a tune or distracting, but that is just me.
I like the Mystery Trackers series & this is a great one......
I recommend this game!

Well this was certainly a different kind of hidden object/adventure game.
You must try to see if your father is still alive after disappearing 20 years ago....familiar plot different game. you travel to the jungle after you receive a letter you are off.....
The game is part 3-D that moves & gave me a carsick headache & nausea. There is a map & doesn't show much until you finish that section with the right tools to move forward.
I didn't like the music which was mostly repetitive drums. The graphics were good, but the hidden objects were pictures & some were too unclear as to what they were. There are things to find, but the challenge was where to look.
This was based on the one hour demo I didn't want to finish because of the effects of the 3-D parts. It is probably just me & someone else may be thrilled with the new &different concepts.
Judge for yourselves.
I don't recommend this game.

I play the demo before I buy. This continuation of the original is a good continuance of the story. I like the pictures to play the HOS as my eyes aren't that good, but I enjoyed them. The hints are a little slower than most games as I play in relaxed mode.
The music is appropriate for the game.
There are different puzzles, different HOs, and the story keeps me wanting to know more.
I will buy this game.
I recommend this game!

I played the trial version. This game is straight forward. Get an inventory item & you know pretty much where to use it. The hint button is a real plus when/if you need to use it. I like the info kept in the journal.
I liked the graphics, the music & the hidden objects were fairly easy. They have several steps sometimes incorporating inventory items which I liked for a change of pace.
I am buying this game.
I recommend it.

I love hidden object games. I was hoping this one would fill the bill. It did not for me, but I play for pure relaxation. I play easy, no timed modes. Either I am old, slow,or bad eyes, but I did,t think the timing for the modes was enough.I didn't make the ranks.
The graphics are clear, & the objects easy enough to find IF you know exactly what you are looking for. If I hadn't read some of the reviews first I wouldn't have understood towel was really trowel.
I usually do not play sounds or music because they are distracting for me.They are appropriate for this game, but I ended up turning them off as usual.
I don't recommend this game unless you don't care about the negatives I mentioned.
