The sequal is just as good as the first game. The uniqueness of this story was quite incredible. The puzzles were all different and how objects interacted with other objects kept me guessing until I finally got it right. It had a sweet ending, but I do wish to know what happened to the main character afterward. Where did she go and what did she end up doing after such an incredible journey? It ended good, but I feel was left wanting some kind of closure. I wonder if the developers will be making another game connected or related to this one.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game. Some of the scenes and backgrounds were impressive. Some of the characters in this game were funny and some that were meant to be annoying were truely annoying (i.e. the main character's phone contact list). Trying to find out which objects were meant to interact with another object was challenging. Some objects were not as I thought they would be used for. I liked how goal oriented the main character was and how she worked hard to reach her goals. I also liked how the main character could run and that she did not have to walk everywhere. Really fun game.
I recommend this game!

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

This story continues after leaving off from the MCF: 13th Skull as indicated by the journal entry. I rather had mixed feelings about this game. The mix of puzzles were fun, challenging, and the storyline was interesting, but kind of morbid because it was trying to depict the story from how a crazy man saw things. Yes you are still the detective, but a crazy man is trying to make you see things from his point of view. I suppose that is why a lot fo the hidden objects morph from one object to another (from what a crazy person sees and a non-crazy person sees). One thing about the morphing that bothered me is that they did not always morph for you to see them morph, which made it especially difficult to find out what you are supposed to find and click on. I honestly had to use the walkthrough for some of those parts becuase I would be spending hours on a scene trying to see what objects morph so I could click on them. I gave it 4 stars because they brought back the green screen bloopers at the end which I liked from the Return To Ravenhearst game.

I really liked this game. It was rather challenging trying to find out what to do next and how clues linked to each other. I liked the live actors. They were done rather well and some really got a reaction from me. Especially the mother. How the actress portrayed her attitude about her missing husband really got me calling her bad names, but for good reason too when I found out what happened later in the story. The nieghbours and the people at the bar made me laugh. The dialogue was rather amusing. Well done.
I recommend this game!

This story follows Return To Ravenhearst. It even says it in your journal log when you start which I liked. The story was done in an interesting way. Much like the Blair Witch movie with all the video logs. I would have liked to see the bloopers at the end of the game like they did on Return To Ravenhearst, but other than that I really liked this game.
I recommend this game!

I am so glad they made this game much better than the first. Different kinds of puzzles, interesting story, and they managed to include details from the first story into this one. I thought the bloopers at the end for the green screen work was kind of funny. I rather liked seeing the behind the scenes bloopers. It is not often that you see developers including that in their games.
I recommend this game!

Not so many kinds of puzzles in this game. A LOT of HOS and putting puzzle pieces together to make a picture. I know this is old school style of games so I am glad the next games made after this were better. I was looking forward to doing those, but I had to do this to find out how the story began. I liked the story, but getting the whole story was a bit of a pain and boring.

I really like how the game developers connected The Exiled Prince to this game. The are so clever to come up with such interesting fractured fairytales. It was like a blend of Snow White, The White Queen from Narnia, Hansel and Gretal, The Golden Compass or The Golden Child. I can't wait for the next one. It looks like they are hinting on doing something with Red Riding Hood. I wonder how they are going to connect that story to this one.
I recommend this game!

I really liked how they connected the Briar Rose story to this one. Even more I loved how they combined different fairytales together. Another fractured fairytale at its best.

I like how they made the story into a fractured fairytale. They did a good job making the game flow. A lot of going back and forth to areas for HOS, but at least they tell you where to look so you are not searching everywhere for them.
I recommend this game!
