While it failed in comparison to the previous Bonfire stories, it wasn't bad if you're simply looking for a hidden object/mini puzzle game. It had a nice relaxing pace to it with a rather mundane story line but for a rainy day game, it wasn't all that bad. However, Caroline just needs to stop talking. I don't need her explaining every...single...detail!!! I got to the point where I was telling her to shut up! The story line was clear enough that I knew what to do next that I didn't need her explaining everything! She was the most annoying part of the game!! Other than that, it was tolerable, though nowhere near on the same level as the previous games, which is why I didn't bother with the collector's addition & used a free game coupon on this one.
Please go back to your higher quality of game for the next edition or you're going to lose a lot of fans!! It's just a suggestion for a current fan!
STOP WITH THE RED "X"'S IN THE HIDDEN OBJECTS GAMES!! Otherwise, I enjoyed the game, though I don't understand where the title comes from (Lamb's Skin) but the games were fun, the story line was enjoyable & the colors weren't hard on the eyes. All in all, it was fun.
I really enjoyed this game! I loved all the colors & how this wasn't the typical "vanquish the bad guy" game but a "redeem the bad guy" game where he becomes a good guy. While I love other developers, one of my favorite things about Mad Head is that there isn't so many things to do in one scene & there's very little back & forth between scenes. The only problem I had was that there were a few places where the soundtrack skipped or hit a "snag" but other than that, it was a suburb game! Nevertales is one of my favorite series!
I'm a few years behind on this series but this is probably one of the best games I've played in a very long time! I don't typically like creepy games, but this was such an excellent game that I wish others were like this. The games were a little different & you got to keep a tool for a few uses instead of always looking for yet another knife or pair of scissors. I bought this sight unseen because I've fallen in love with this series & I'm so glad I did! One of the best!!
I don't normally submit reviews, but this game's far to good not to. I fell in love with this game from the very beginning. The story line's unique, I liked how you kept a knife or a lighter for a few uses, which was a nice because it gets old looking for tools all the time. I loved the flow of the game; not much back & forth. I didn't want to stop this game to go to bed last night because it's that good; I just didn't want to stop. The colors were beautiful, as was the music, though it would've been nice to hear Christmas music in a Christmas game, but that's the only minor, minor, minor complaint. I will play this again shortly because it's that good! It's my new favorite game! I hope this game gets everyone in the Christmas Spirit! Enjoy!!
This is one of the best games they've produced! I love the unique storyline & I love jungle sounds! It reminded me a lot of the story "The Jungle Book" minus the silly bear. They toned down the colors some, which made it much more enjoyable for a jungle themed game. I thoroughly enjoyed this game!! I want more just like this!
I buy everything Domini Games puts out sight unseen because they never fail to entertain me. Others give far better reviews of the game play so I won’t go into all of that but I had to let everyone and, especially Domini Games, know that this is yet another great game of theirs! I love colorful fairy-tale-could-never-happen-in-real-life stories but if you don’t, then this game probably isn’t for you, though I highly recommend at least giving it a try. It’s nice to see a developer step outside the box & do something different with a sweet story that everyone knows & loves! Thank you Domini Games! You rock!!
I'm enjoying the game but I wish Eipix would stay out of it!!

I have missed the Dark Parables series! I didn't realize just how much until this new release. The graphics look like all of the original Blue Tea Games ones, except this one has more muted tones & looks more like a live painting. My ONLY issue is that Eipix has their hands in this one yet again. If they're going to absolutely insist on participating in the this series, then the sounds that are used when the hidden objects are combined need to be at least pleasing to the ear & IN TUNE!! I can't stand the chimes & the ear-piercing screech they make; it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. Eipix has their own series that I have seen so they need to leave all of the out of tune, ear piercing sounds in their specific games. Please stop ruining the Dark Parables series with your "stamp" on it.
So, essentially, my only complaint about this game is that it's not a true Blue Tea Games game.
I thought this was a fun game. The colors were gorgeous & not too bright & the music was soft & very pretty. Try it for yourself to form your own opinion but I think it’s a great game!
