The game play is 3 children abducted by a warlock, after he kills the child’s relation and you, the player, have to visit various locations when eventually you will rescue a child. The child will be taken to the graveyard and be reunited with the ghost of the relation who will then hand you a medallion. Once you have rescued all 3 children and placed the 3 medallions on the correct pedestal you will be able to entrap the warlock. The loading from one location to another is quite slow, this appears to be a feature of ERS games. The game is made up of interesting locations but is thoroughly spoilt, to my mind, by virtually there being one HO after another, all of the junk yard type. Another ERS game ‘Spirits of Mystery: Song of the Phoenix’ has HO’s which are inter active where some build up to produce an object to be used later on in the game, this is far more interesting, again, however, slow loading between locations. Good clear graphics. For the game progression itself I would give 4 stars but have reduced this to 3 stars overall because of all the HO’s.
A very different game with interaction with mechanical objects. Story briefly is that this inventor of mechanical gadgets spends so much time experimenting that his wife walks out on him. When you, the female player, arrives he mistakes you for his wife at which point the action starts. HO's are find objects by either finding 12 shapes of objects, 12 pieces of material etc. Not difficult by a very refreshing change from the junk pile HO's. The puzzles are very varied and mostly different from the usual run of the mill. Some puzzles are easy, some fairly difficult and some I had to skip but all very interesting, entertaining and inventive. Graphics are good and so are the locations of play. I have many games and I rate this as one of the best 10/10. One reviewer wrote there is quite a lot of backwards and forwards movement. Yes this is true but far far less than a lot of other games where these are quite exasperating. To my mind the moving around is quire acceptable and fits in well with the scenario. I thoroughly recommend this game. I hope GI games make another one.
An interesting game with time travelling. Objects to be found are inter acted either in the time you are in or to a time where you have to either fast forward or back through the year buttons. As such this made a different kind of game. Graphics were good so also the story line. Basically you had to destroy the witch and to release Merlin. Puzzles weren’t too difficult and there was an alternative to playing the HO’s which, unfortunately, was just as boring as the HO’s of which there were very many. I would summarise this game as Game movement 50%. HO’s 45%. Puzzles 5%. Luckily the hint button recharged almost immediately so I was able to use this virtually non-stop, this cleared the HO’s in record time especially as there was no cursor break up. If you like point and click to find objects in a junkyard you will love this game. Whilst the game was different the overabundance of HO’s and a very monosyllabic female voice over reduced the appeal from a 4 star rating to a 2 star rating. Allowing for some gamesters liking HO’s for them I would give the game 4 stars. There was also a lot of backwards and forwards movements which, together with the many HO’s, helped to make this a long game. I think that without these it would have been one of Big Fish’s short games. I struggled to get to the end of the game only to find it was going to be continued but definitely not for me. I will recommend this game but only for HO lovers.
I recommend this game!

The game starts off full of eastern promise. The HO's are different in that you have to locate an area which when found opens a circle surrounded by smaller circles. In each circle is an object to be found in the scene location and not in a junkyard. When all the pieces have been found they form an item to be used in the current location or in a different location. The Storey line is original. A friend goes looking for her childhood boy friend that she helps to escape from prison and she has to enter into various realms in order to track him down. This turns out to be quite a task as he turns out to be the rightful Emperor. The graphics are clear and of a high palette. The various scenes are beautifully drawn with an authentic air of the orient. I cannot comment on the music as I always mute this, mainly because of the repetitive nature. The voice over has an American accent; this should have been an authentic oriental voice to match the game play. The puzzles are not too hard and, in the main, interesting and there are quite a few of these. As the game progresses it reverts to HO's of the point, and click in the junkyard, which then start coming fast and furious. Great pity. True there are still some of the HO's with circles. It is as if the writers of the game ran out of ideas and used a plethora of the more boring type of HOs to lengthen the game and to save some brainpower. I would have given the game 31/2 stars as a result of all the point and click Hos but this will have to be 4 stars. Without all the point and click it would have been 5 stars. Notwithstanding the slight criticism above I would still recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

I often find that the 1 hour free demo portrays a game that might be interesting. I have many times been mislead by this into buying a game. This is the case with this game. If you like plenty of HO’s of the find, point and click type you are in for a great time as most of this game is made up of these. The game producers have added a new factor where you have to find a green card. Once this card is located it lists the objects to be found. Yet another annoyance. The hint button takes a long time to recharge which isn’t too terrible as it is so useless. Many times it will show you something which is to be done even though you do not have the right tool and which you can see for yourself. The game is like so many others namely a character is abducted by a witch and is to be saved. The few puzzles are boring and easy to solve. This is another game where, in hindsight, I would not have wasted my money. This game is like many others with a similar storyline but which are much better produced and with much better graphics. The graphics in this game are grainy. I have played this game three times (I’m a glutton for punishment) in order to give a fair appraisal but I cannot find anything good to say about it.
Rather a mediocre game. Quite a lot of HO’s of the usual type, some with a little twist but not an exciting twist, also a lot of objects hard to find. Not much new in the shape of puzzles one or two of which are, to my mind, unsolveable without the walkthrough. The maze towards the end is a joke. Unless you are very very lucky you will have to resort to the walkthrough. The hint button takes 3 minutes to recharge. Very slow. Storey nothing out of the ordinary. A so so game. Alright to purchase as a freebie but not for a full purchase price. This is certainly not one of my better choices.
Young girl stolen by witch. Witch wants to turn young girl into a witch. Supposedly relation sent for to save girl. Girl is saved. Nothing new here just an ordinary game with the same story line as many others. The usual Elefun Games overdose on HO's. My rating of 3 stars is for sounds and graphics and a small piece for the game. I would however recommend the game as many gamesters enjoy a plethera of HO's.
I agree with all previous reviewers who rate this game. However there are too many HO's which slows the game down and is interfering. Yes I know this is an HO game but Elefungames don't have to keep proving this by an abundance of HO's hence my giving 4 stars and not 5 stars
The story line was quite good but the various link in scenes throughout the game were excellent. Good clear graphics. Various and interesting puzzles and also the finding of objects to be placed within certain locations to enable the game to continue were different. I quite forgot this was a HO game for in the first half there were very few HO’s, being normal junk yard and find by name. However as the game progressed so did the HO’s which started to become intrusive. Shame ERS thought they had to bombard the game in its latter stages with HO’s to make it an acceptable game. Bad mistake. Luckily the hint button refreshed quickly, which I made good use of to hasten the finding of objects. Nonetheless the game was refreshing in its novel way and I was pleased to have purchased this. As to the music I can’t say as I have this turned off in all the games. There is a limit. Some interaction which keeps the story alive. Would have been 5 stars but for all the HO's
My remarks will be the same as for Christmas Wonderland. The Wonderland series are not for adults. The game consists entirely of HO's and very very simple puzzles. I can understand children thouroughly enjoying the wonders of Santa Claus but adults require something far more challenging than the Wonderland series. I gave this game 1 star based upon an adult view but would give it 3 stars for children interest.
