Houndspoint has a serious problem, a pack of Deerhounds are attacking men, women, children and even other dog's! You have a degree in canine psychology but you've never seen anything like this before. These dogs are wearing suspicious collars which seems to be the method for control, but why would someone want to attack the citizens of this small mountain town where everyone knows each other? When the dog's corner your children and kidnap their pet dog Pippa, you know it's time to get to the bottom of this mystery.
The Hidden Object Scenes are interactive list finds, that have well hidden objects blended into the scenery. Every item you click on shows a paw print that fades within a few seconds which is actually kinda cool.
The Mini Games are very easy, most can be accomplished on the first attempt. Simple puzzles such as opening locks by choosing levers in the correct order, or untangling a net by clicking and dragging the large knots until none of the ropes cross each other and the ropes change from red to green.
I purchased this game when it first came out, and just got around to revisiting this dog themed game. The graphics are really decent for the most part, but I'm finding the close up's to be very animated.
The Collector's Edition has 7 Music Tracks, 9 Wallpapers scenes, 13 pages of Concept Art, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

What a complicated in depth strategy game this is! I really wasn't digging it at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was kinda fun. This is different than most strategy games I have played, you have to build the city with houses, stone quarries, fishing huts, tree nurseries etc. You have to build certain buildings in order to build other buildings, you need wood and stone to build houses or fishing huts therefore you need to build sawmills and quarries first. You need to click on the main building to recruit workers first, but of course they need fed so you need food resources first. Each building will need at least one worker, after you recruit a worker, you click on the building that you want workers to go to, and add as many workers as you want, the more workers, the faster the production goes. The main building also allows you to recruit a carrier to pick up resources so you don't have to click on them constantly, and you can choose which resources the carriers pick up first with a slider bar feature. When production comes to a halt, you need to assign more workers to the buildings because the workers leave when they get hungry. The entire playing field is covered with clouds, building obelisks in strategic areas will appease the gods and clear away a portion of clouds. Eventually you will build roadways to allow trade to neighboring cities, and new buildings are unlocked. This game is surprisingly addicting, as you watch your city grow, and meet the level goals. The only thing I disliked about this game was that there was no clear cut task list available. You are given a new task and shown the requirements briefly but there's no list shown afterwards, so you have to remember what the requirements are for each task. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The mountain town of Houndspoint has gone to the dog's! Someone is controlling a pack of large Deerhounds as they are commanded to do his dirty work, striking fear upon the citizens of this small wintery town known for their love of canines. You have a diploma in canine psychology, but this strange behavior is like nothing you've ever heard of. When the family dog Pippa is kidnapped by this canine pack, you know you must get the the bottom of this case and stop whomever is in charge before it's too late!
I purchased this game when it first came out, and just got around to revisiting this dog themed game. The graphics are really decent for the most part, but I'm finding the close up scenes really animated and outdated several years later. This game does have a lot of interactive list finds, and they are very nicely done in my opinion, some items a bit of a challenge to find. The Mini Games however, are a little on the easy side with very little challenge such as clicking on levers in the correct order or untangling a bunch of ropes on a net by clicking and dragging the larger knots until none of the lines are overlapping and turn green.

I will give this game credit, it has every possible variation of Match 3 available, Chain matches where you click and drag an entire chain of matches, Group matches where you click on groups of identical tiles, and the normal Swap matches. This game is available in Mortal (Easy) mode with no timer, Hero (Medium) with 500 seconds to complete a level and 60 seconds for the hint and skip options, and Olympian (Hard) with only 300 seconds to complete each level, 120 seconds for the hint to recharge and no available skip option.
The goal with most levels is to make matches over all gold and iron tiles, each level varies as to what type of Match 3 is required. Some tiles are blocked with fog, ropes, double ropes, wooden blocks and even brick which require at least one match on or nearby in order to unblock the tile. Large matches will earn bonuses on the board such as a bomb which can be swapped to detonate and clear several tiles. Some levels require you to collect items such as keys or feathers which are used to unlock and expose sections of the board. Bonus tiles only require a single click, when enough bonus tiles have been collected you can use the bonus anywhere on the board to clear out rows, columns or sections of tiles. The money you earn is used to purchase building that will appease the Olympian Gods who are helping you upon your journey.

Aaahh, a plush journalistic assignment in paradise covering this years Beauty Pageant, what could be better? Well it can't get much worse, you're the prime suspect when the priceless Liberty Stone gem is stolen and the empty case is in your possession! This stone has been the center of attention for quite some time now with two families claiming to be the rightful owners of the spectacular heirloom. The owner of the resort, Carlos Sterling, is allowing the winner of the pageant to wear the Liberty Stone, which is not sitting well with Tyrell Walker who claims to be the true owner of the stone. When a pageant contestant becomes a victim of an attack, you begin to question your decision to cover this seemingly easy assignment.
This game is totally off the record awesome. There are plus signs on many of the inventory items and many of those items have a quick mini game that needs completed before you can use it such as turning dials to the correct image from clues that you come across during your investigation. Once again, you will find several audio cassettes throughout the game to play in your cassette recorder, there is an icon to the left of the inventory bar for quick access to the recorder. The Collector's Edition has available Achievements to earn, 12 Collectible Alphabets and 43 hidden Seahorses to collect. When you are talking to some of the characters, you get to choose responses in three different categories, Sharp, Straight or Bluff. If you choose the wrong response category however, the character tells you it's not believable and the response is far fetched so there's no wrong response really.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really entertaining, (12 of them contain a Morphing item in the CE). Some of the HOS are just regular list finds, my favorite was a progressive silhouette game where you find fruit to mix, and play a minigame where you cut the fruit when a meter is in the green zone, and then add that mixture to a shaker bottle and shake the shaker as fast as you can. The Mini Games are plentiful, simple games such as tracing a symbol with your mouse, and some more elaborate. My favorite game required you to spin a roulette wheel to receive your numbers, then you had to place exactly four chips on each number whose sum totaled the number shown.
The Collector's Edition has a Souvenir Room, re-playable HOP and Puzzles, Videos and Bonus Videos, Music, Pictures, Collectible Seahorses and Alphabet Letters, Morphing Objects, Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Victor Vile is up to no good once again! This time he has entered the world of Oz and has erected towers that that consume light, energy and even people. As an agent of the Fiction Fixers, you will need to use your Fictionalizer to enter this brilliant novel written by L. Frank Baum and save Kansas. You will team up with important characters from the novel, Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly lion and of course Toto. The graphics have improved since the last FF game, but many of the items are so small, they are unrecognizable. There are several small mini games and puzzles to play and several Hidden Object Scenes that are either list finds, or "find 5 cars, 6 tractors and 7 cows" swirling around a tornado. It's a great twist to the classic Wizard of Oz, and I think kids would really enjoy this game.

Wow! Two Delicious games in one week! Emily and Patrick O'Malley just bought their dream house, unfortunately it's in need of some Tender Lovin' Care. All of our favorite characters have returned, baby Paige, Francois Em's BFF, Edward, Evelyn, Angela and Uncle Antonio, Em's family, as well as Patrick's family, Paddy, Brigid, and Kate. This is a Time Management game which can be played in Beginner, Normal or Advanced mode, and there is an available tutorial that will teach you everything you need to know to play the game successfully. This is a very easy game to learn, but it is fast paced, the good news is that there are 60 levels to practice on! Simply click on the items that the customer's want, (some items require combinations of items) click again on the customer to deliver the items, click on the cash register to accept payment and then on the table to clean up the mess. Each level has a mouse to find and click on that pops up randomly, you cannot achieve 3 stars on any level that you didn't click on the mouse, however, you can replay the level as often as you want to achieve a better score.
New concession items are unlocked as you progress, and you can choose which items you want to offer, which I believe is a new feature. Whenever the camera icon appears, you can take a snapshot of that scene which is kept in Emily's scrapbook. You will earn Diamonds which can be used to upgrade and repair Patrick and Emily's dream house, one room at a time. The money you earn from the concession's can be used to buy new equipment, add table and chairs, upgrade gardens, decorate, or add comfort items to keep customers patient and happy, or help Emily move prepare food quicker. Basically, you will make more money if the customers are served quickly, and multi tasking will earn more money as well. Between some levels, you can play a challenge level which is usually the level you just finished with the addition of finding several mice instead of one. This may sound easy, but those mice are everywhere, two or three at a time, and at the same time you have to take care of the customers!
This Collector's Edition has 3 Wallpaper selections, 10 Concept Art pictures, and 10 Bonus Levels with a new restaurant, new events, a new story, and memorable moments, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I've played a ton of solitaire games over the years, and Faerie Solitaire is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time. There are three modes of difficulty, Normal, Master and Impossible (sounds so scary) you start with the Adventure mode which will unlock Quickplay which allows you to replay any level within the Adventure, but you have to replay the entire set of 10 hands not individual hands. There is a Challenge mode of extra levels with super hard goals, and plenty of Achievements to earn as well. When you complete 10 games in a level, you will be able to release the faerie that is trapped in a glass cage!
This is a Higher/Lower solitaire game requiring you to play a card either higher or lower than the foundation deck card regardless of suit, when there are no available plays, you click on the deck cards until a play can be made. You can earn more money for combo's starting at 5 cards in a row which fills the energy bar, once filled, the energy bar unlocks a gold bar which earns more gold. Each level has specific goals such as finishing the level within a specific time, earn a specific amount of gold, make a combo of a specific number, or get a perfect score. Some of the cards are blocked with obstacles such as Thorns which require you to play all cards with a rose above them to remove the thorns, or Ice blocked cards which need a Fire Blast card uncovered to melt the ice card.
With the money you earn you can purchase bonuses and upgrades such as: Fae Grass which starts the energy bar with a little bit of energy, the Orb of Fortune which shows what the next card in the deck is, an Obelisk gives you an extra undo, the Aura Ring builds a charge with every card drawn that cannot be played, a Flower Garden give you another undo, the tree of Life turns 25% of the cards face up, a Magic Clock adds a counter showing how many cards are left in the deck, an Hour Glass helps your active pet grow a little faster, and the Wishing Well gives you extra gold for completing each level.
Here's my favorite feature of the entire game: You will uncover element resources (as well as coins) such as Wood, Stone and water, which is needed to raise baby Dragons! You will uncover mysterious eggs occasionally which will hatch into magical creatures you keep as pets. Each pet evolves to adulthood but need specific amounts of each resource to do so. Your pets are kept in the Hatchery and are categorized into 8 pages, 1 is the most common creature, 8 is a rare creature. When they are grown and activated you gain experience points, and the game will alert you with important information about your pet's progress, how cool is that! Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Audrey Quinn is Wolf Studios latest rising star, a diva who tries desperately to keep her private life out of the limelight. This years film festival has two leading ladies competing for the top recognition, Audrey Quinn and Veronica Malone. When a concerned "friend" requests your services as a discrete detective to get the scoop on Audrey, you begin to question everyone's motive. What is Audrey hiding that is so intriguing to Veronica?
There's nothing better than a Final Cut mystery at Wolf Studios, right? Whether you choose the Collector's Edition with 41 hidden Wolf Studio symbols, and an abundance of Achievements, or this Standard Edition, you just can't go wrong! Some of the inventory items have plus signs indicating that some type of interaction must be done before using that item such as combining it with another inventory item.
The Hidden Object Scenes are what makes this game so entertaining. All HOS have a variety of options, at first there may be list finds followed by silhouetted shapes, or you may have to find multiples of a couple items to receive a tool which will expose a list find, some even have descriptions that require you to find the item that matches the brief description given. The Collector's Edition has Morphing Objects within most of the HOP's to discover, 15 in total. If you're not into HOP's, you can opt to play a Match 3 game instead.
The Mini Games are quite decent ranging from simple tasks of swapping statues to the correct place according to the shape of the pedestal, to more complicated puzzles. My favorite was swapping tiles so that all symbols matched their neighboring tiles on all sides. None of the games are difficult so far, but they are enjoyable.
The Collector's Edition has Achievements, replayable Puzzles and Hidden Object Scenes, 41 Collectible Wolf Studio Symbols, 15 Morphing Objects in the HOS, the Making of, Pictures, Music, a Souvenir Room, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

The graphics are really good, the music is certainly medieval, but, those are the only positive things I can say about this game! You are tasked with rebuilding bridges leading to the castle, that have been damaged during an invasion by the Urcks. Each level requires you to build a bridge that will withstand the particular delivery load (fish vs building materials) and you must build this bridge at or below a certain budget. The problem is, it's impossible to build a bridge within the budget! I replayed several levels multiple times, using the cheapest methods, combining cheap and expensive, almost every imaginable way, and still came in over budget! The materials used are stone for pillars, large wooden planks, regular wood, rope etc. some building materials are more expensive than others, but longer bridges require materials that can support the overall length. When you think the bridge is road worthy, you click on the play button which summons a wagon convoy that will hopefully make it all the way across the bridge. Even if you're an autocad aficionado, I think you'd become bored with this game.
