WOW, I think I overloaded my brain on this perplexing Fill-A-Cross puzzle! It's different that's for sure. I'm not even going to pretend that I have this type of puzzle figured out, but I'm almost there:) Let's start with the Pic Cross game, that's a no brainer. I wasn't as thrilled with this mosaic game as with some of the more recent one's released. The reason for my lack of enthusiasm is more of an annoyance simply because I don't like the fact that the X'd or crossed out tiles fade out after being crossed. I have a learning disability and visuals help so that's probably only going to be my opinion, otherwise it's a good mosaic, pic cross, griddler game with the normal grid formation.
Now for the perplexing Fill-A-Cross, it sounds so benign right? Well no, actually, although the tutorial is pretty thorough, you will be thrown to the wolves after just a few assisted games. The basic foundation of the game is to correctly choose the numerical patterns by filling in the surrounding and adjacent tiles with the correct amount as well as the correct color. An example would be the number 9 in red would have the solution of a 3 X 3 square. Once you fill in the correct tiles of one color you will switch to the next color and the first set of colors and numbers will fade, you cannot overlap, the red tiles can't be put on a tile in which a green tile should be and so forth. I know that reading all of the reviews is probably counter productive because it's nearly impossible to describe this game in writing, however, it's a really entertaining game for anyone who calls themselves a puzzle geek, and with 100 games of Fill-A-Cross and another 100 Pic-Cross games, you're surely going to be entertained for a long time, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Your skills as paranormal journalist will be put to the test on this case, for something, someone is able to manipulate the water. Julia White witnessed something at the hydro-electric plant but never made it back alive to report her findings! Now she is desperately trying to warn her family of the eminent danger from beyond, who or what killed Julia White and why is her entire family at risk?.......There are ton's of extra's on this Fear For Sale, 36 Beyond objects to find as well as a bunch of achievements available to earn. If you love games with collectibles you are in for a huge treat because there are 7 different types of collectibles, and there are several items available in each category. There are Spa Gift Basket items, Make Up Essentials, Heirloom jewelry, Afternoon Tea items, Greenville souvenirs, Conchologist (shells) and Antique Dolls to collect! The Hidden Object Scenes are interactive such as picking up bouquets of different colored flowers and placing them on top of the matching colored gnomes heads that are actually flower pots. If you don't like HOS, there is a jigsaw puzzle available instead. I haven't come across any difficult mini games yet, most are easy and most are fun. The game I liked the best was sliding tiles along a grid and using other tiles to block their paths until the tiles line up and into their correct slots. You will receive a Conch shell from the beyond that will allow you to manipulate water, removing water from some areas and even to put out fires. Every collectible you find and every beyond object gives you points so you can compete against friends but I can't see that happening, enjoy!

Vicki Nelson is an ex-cop private investigator who has teamed up with a 450 year old vampire, Henry Fitzroy, to solve the paranormal case of several members of the Hellfire organization. Although this story sounds very intriguing it is basically just a Hidden Object Game with a story attached. But, it is a really good Hidden Object Game. Each "case" or missing person investigation requires that several areas be investigated with a certain amount of items to be found in each scene. The objects are well hidden, not too small, and just the right amount of darkness to give it a challenge without making it frustrating. If you're a HOG fan you're going to love this game, if you are looking for a more interactive game where you use inventory items to solve the case, this is not for you, enjoy!

I agree with the other reviewers that the mechanics of this game are a bit rough at times, not very user friendly. With that being said, the graphics are not bad. It's difficult to get into this game and I'm not sure what it is that prevents that. Perhaps because it's difficult to multitask at times, or just a lack of exciting products, either way I believe this game will be adored by some and loathed by others or in my case, I'm taking the middle ground on this one because it does have value, does have an entertainment factor, it's just not an over the top, gotta play just one more level kind of game. Customers enter the restaurant and you must click on that customer, click on a table, click to take their order, click to place the order with the cook and depending on what the customer ordered, click that dish and add whatever spices they want added to their dish. Now there are biker gangs that we don't want dining here so we add a ton of pepper to their dish so they will leave! (seems unethical?) With the money you earn you can buy upgrades, more tables, chairs, ovens etc. and you also need to purchase refills for your spices.
I don't recommend this game.

Excellent sequel of League of Mermaids! If you haven't ever played any "jar of marbles" type of match 3, you are in for a huge treat! On the other hand, if you are a fan of this series, you too are in for a treat because they have added all kinds of obstacles to make this a more challenging game! You can play this game in timed mode or zen mode with the goal of getting 3 stars for each level by reaching the three goals shown on the bottom right of the screen. Some marbles are made of stone and the only way they can be destroyed is with a bonus of some type. There are also marbles covered with seaweed which block the openings until you make a match of the same color above them. Some marbles contain bombs or lightning, when you make a match with those marbles the bonus is released and you can use the bonus marble on your next move to destroy several marbles at once. As you make matches, the meter bar fills up and once full it releases energy that destroys a bunch of leftover marbles. Bravo, I love it, enjoy!

Your brother has sent you a postcard from Venice, he's in some kind of trouble and fortunately he has left several encrypted clues for you to follow. I must say this is an interesting story but the poor, cartoonish graphics and the constant need to read tons of dialog were a huge turnoff for me. This is on the other hand a HOG heaven for people who love mostly hidden object scenes. I didn't like the fact that you would read a dialog box from a character, then you have to wait for more to load (click to continue) read another box etc. Sorry it's just not interesting enough for me.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a Free To Play Time Management game based upon a culinary contest. You start out with an empty room and purchase a cutting board, oven, counter and a table and chair set. You receive a task from a customer, find that recipe and follow the steps required. Each recipe gives you a serving count, a Mastery level, a revenu and skill points of various amounts. You play a mini game such as clicking on a knife to chop radishes or clicking and dragging across a set line to slice carrots, there is a time limit to finish or you won't get skill points. Here's the problem, it's just ho hum, there's really nothing exciting to do. If you are into cooking shows and culinary arts you may enjoy this game.

I loved this relaxing game of griddlers so much that I will probably buy it. There are 6 rooms which are actually cages that require a certain amount of earned keys to unlock and release various pets contained within. The first room is the Enchanted Forest which needs 60 keys, Golden Sands requires 40 keys, Soaring Island requires 80 keys, Dragon Mountain requires 140 keys, Frozen Hills requires 200 keys, and Black Castle requires 300 keys. There are achievements to earn and some tiles contain coins which can be used to purchase upgrades such as 2 starting hints, the right for a mistake x3 or refill the hints on that level. This game has a good tutorial and the levels progress nicely, enjoy!

If only this game had better graphics! I love the dinosaurs, quick runners but easy to kill, slow and steady but harder to kill. This Tower Defense game still has all the usual features, you are defending a time machine instead of a castle but you still choose which weapon to construct on a tower platform. I liked the feature that some of those fast running dinos split off from the crowd and were able to take short cuts along the path, an unexpected attack! Another feature I liked was the fact that midway through a wave a second group of dinosaurs would start coming out through a second entrance which really makes you have to pay full attention throughout. With the dino bones you collect i-volve points to purchase weapons upgrades or even health for your Time Machine. I love the game, love the concept but I think they could have done a better job on the graphics, enjoy!

This game looks as if it could be fun, but looks are deceiving. It took me several minutes just to navigate through pages and try to figure out if I wanted "normal" or not. Then comes a blip of a tutorial telling me not to forget to feed my farm animals or they would die! Before I knew it, my lack of not knowing how to feed my chicken, made him disappear. Did he die? Did he run away to greener pastures? Do I get a second chance to make it up to my little chicken?
