I truly enjoyed this game as i did every one of the games in this series. The developer is top notch as is the storyline, the graphics, the creative puzzles and hogs. Best of all is the fact that one really feels immersed in an adventure where one needs to think and not just click blindly as one does in most of the games that are offered these past few years. The map is clear and practical, the characters are interesting and fairly realistic. The Lost Lands series is always a challenge and a pleasure to play. Unfortunately, these great games have become few and far between.
Not much fun, boring storyline and worst of all the objects in the HOG are tiny and unrecognizable. Dark background. So i just click everywhere after awhile of straining my eyes and eventually i hit a hidden object. Not my idea of and interesting or challenging game. So dull and boring that i did not even finish the demo.
Story line could have been ok but so many silly tasks to perform that i was almost instantly bored. Graphics are not bad but in the hogs one can not distinguish items as they are so small. I recognize the developer almost immediately from the type of disjointed gameplay. I loose interest within the first 10 minutes and can not wait for the demo to be over. So i often quit before the end of the demo to spare myself the tedium of going to the end. Needless to say these games are a NO BUY for me even if they were for free !.
No challenge, no fun, limited and incoherent storyline. Scenes were revisited repeatedly and were totaly lacking in artistic quality. Characters had Zero personality. This is in no way of CE level. Its low grade SE at best. Boring and rather stupid. Just what one can now seem to expect from Domini, Do and Relax Games. I went to the end of demo and discarded game. Not worth anything.
I also very rarely give 5 stars to a game but this one deserves it. Original and creative. Not repetitive. Good storyline. Games are challenging. The game play kept my attention and i really enjoyed it. Very different and can appear quite simple but it is so different than the great majority of games that we are offered. So many games are just a succession of finding the same old objects to complete the same old tasks. Most games have become quite boring but this game is different. I did not want it to end. I finished the demo and will now, for sure, buy the game. I highly recommend trying it and if you enjoy it, express your appreciation for this developer's work. They really gave us a very interesting and challenging game. Thank you
Objects in HO way to small, graphics not clear and often not even visible when using the hint button . I hate using hints and rarely do. But in this game i used the hint constantly as item were totally unclear ! Many hints were absolutely unrecognizable also. Why not just call them obscured objects as they are basically not visible or impossible to distinguish ! The graphics are not clear either. So frustrating, no fun at all. That is my first and major complaint. I will not buy a game that is this frustrating to play. Why don't the developers read our comments and at least try to improve our gaming experience. There was nothing original about this game and unfortunately that seems to have become the norm with Do Games. Very dummied down to the extent of being totally boring and a waste of my time playing the demo. Definately not worth purchasing in my opinion.
First scene, there is already the shovel to dig in the dirt and find the wire to repair with the tape. Then there is the prickly bush for which you need gloves (or something else perhaps) to find something hidden in the bush, There is the barrel that you need to move to find an umbrella rto reach a ladder .... all in all always the same overly boring and repetitive tasks. I did not notice it when i downloaded the trial ... but as soon as i encountered the first 10 task and a HOG where poorly defined objects were submerged in darkness... i thought ... oh here we go again ... and so i checked the developer. No surprise it was DO DO games. So this is the new trend to give us over and over games with little to no imagination. Its hardly worth playing the demo. I think i'll start replaying my old games that are so much more fun.
Another game with all the same ! find the corkscrew to open the drawer, find the shovel to dig up dirt, find the amulet to place in the indent, just an endless and senseless search for the same items that we have done a hundred times before. The HO games lack creativity, the items are so dark and indistinguishable for the most part that one does not even recognize what they are when they are highlighted with the hint button. These games are not for me. Having known much much better and more intelligent, creative games in the past that BFG presented to us, it is difficult for me to find any pleasure in the same old repetivive cookie cutter games like this one. Do games are not worth the price nor the time spent playing them. I was happy when the demo was over and i put an end to the trial game. Went straight to discard.
These DO games are so boring, repetitive and unchallenging. Nine out of ten actions make no sense in the story. If you have played one of these games, you have played them all. No innovation, little to no creativity, and zero challenge except that of overcoming the overwhelming boredom. HO scenes are too dark. In short this game was no fun at all. As a matter of fact, not one of the DO games i have tried recently are entertaining or fun or original.
BTDT = Been there done that. Over and over ad nauseum. Storyline illogical, scenes too dark. Just plain boring and not worth spending money or time on this game. Definitely what i would call cookie cutter which is the only thing this once good developer seems to excel in. Nothing of interest in this game, in my opinion.
