This is the kinda game that feels like you have found a diamond in the rough. The overall look and feel of this game will draw you in, and you find yourself mesmerized by the quaintness of the little town. It is built out of all kinds of stuff, which adds to it's fun. The gameplay is on the level of slightly difficult, because there are not many clues nor instructions for what you have to accomplish. For me, that is perfect. There is no walkthrough on Big Fish. After getting through the 1st Chapter, you pick up on how to find out what needs to be done.
This game captivated me on all levels. I wish I could find more delightful games with the same level of fun and slight difficulty in figuring how the game play proceeds.
This is a very beautiful and marvelous, fun game. Exquitise colors, loads of different creations with different types of material. There are glass, stone, wood, paper and fabric mediums. The sound effect really lets you feel like you are truly using stone, or any of the other materials.
There are 3 different stars that can be earned for completion, correctly done, and speed. I enjoy replaying until I get all three. Sometimes I get all 3 in one try, so some are harder than others. If you drop a piece, you will not get the correctly done star. Or, you can just play without worrying about the stars.
Very enjoyable, ambient music, outstanding colors, and just a treat to play. I love it!
Totally love this game. It's ok if you do not have musical training since there are several ways to determine where the tiles go.
I absolutely wish the game was10 times longer. That's my only downer about it. I hope the creater will do some more like Musaic Box, and make them longer
This is the kind of game that you can leave and come back and everything is right where you left it. That is a good thing for me.
A serial killer nicknamed “the Toymaker” is wreaking havoc on a sleepy town. Can the lead detective piece together clues left at the scene and stop him before he sets his sights on her?
I really thought that given the title, the puzzles would be challenging. Not so. If you really like hidden object scenes, then you will not be disappointed. There are oodles of them. I have not completely finished playing but it is the same throughtout. You are basically stuck in the same place and have to get your clues, find map pieces, and play the puzzle. I know that there are lots of you who will find this game just the right game for you. It is just not my cup of tea. Have fun!
I have all the world mosaic games! Unless there is an 8th one. It's the type of game you can play for hours, or play just one puzzle. You have to be able to calculate which is the best way to set the right amount for which line. I like that you have to indeed use your head. But it is in an enjoyable surrounding. The only problem that I had was the tiny numbers on the grid were hard to see, and at times the photo in the background would obscure the grid it's self. Other than that this is one, or I should say, 7 games I will play and play again! Hope they continue producing them, I will play them all!!!
The overall concept of the game is a nice puzzle. The one big fault was the teensy size of the puzzle we are trying to imitate. It needs to be larger and the colors need to be much brighter so that we can determine what color goes where. Right now, you practically have to plant your eyes real close to the screen. Other than that, it is a enjoyable game.
Not your usual HOS. I enjoyed it very much. The Big Fish logo was really a great surprise, and the one who designed it is very good. The story line is enough to keep you wanting to see what was coming. Graphics were really good. Lots of puzzles, most were just a tad difficult and there are some that made my brain hurt, but those are the best ones! The game play was excellent.
I enjoyed the game immensely! Especially because it came with a SG . Actually it surprised me that it was not too dark, but not too cartoony either. Graphics are good. You run around a lot, which I prefer in HOS, There were just enough HOS, unlike some games where there is nothing but HOS. Of course, a lot of people enjoy having a lot of those. It's just not my cup of tea. The story line is pretty good. Most of the puzzles are not easily solved, except one, which I won't name. It is definitely worth buying, IMHO!
This is surely one of my favorites now! Gorgeous graphics, the kind that you wish you could actually explore physically. They provide a truly great aura for the playing experience.
Love the story line, the multitude of great puzzles, and there is not a plethora of HOS, but still just enough for me. I love the challenge of the puzzles more than the HOS. The voice overs are really good and your inventory is separate from your info, such as flyers, pieces of newspaper etc. Those info sheets carry some major clues. I am looking forward to the next Margrave! I had so much fun doing this one!
