No need for a long review, it was brilliant, all the way around. Great fun, love the art and the ambience, the play was challenging on the hard level, and story line is a good one, and followied the first in this series seamlessly. Excellent puzzles and lots of them! I did notice that some of the HOSs were missing the objects that were previously taken out in an earlier scene at the same spot. Nice touch and it makes everything more cohesive. ERS are always worth the buy for me.
An excellent play! Lots of places to visit, more than average HOSs, and a mysterious story line that draws you in as the detective. Graphics were perfect for the story line, mysteriously twilight and spooky. Lasted longer than a lot of HOGs, and the extra game play was great. Puzzles ran the gambit from short to "I just might pull my hair out". Throughly enjoyed this one and now I am off to be entertained by another Shadow Wolf Mystery! It was great fun for me and I hope the next one delivers more of the same!
This game was very engaging with the beautiful, colorful graphics, the intriguing story line and the great challenges. The HOSs were not real hard but not so easy either. I was really enjoying playing this game and was sad to come to the end. The story line will draw you in and you feel the urgency to defeat the evil persons. Great fun!
This is not what I thought it would be. The story line is unremarkable. The graphics are gritty, grimy, monochromatic, and just plain boring. It's almost laughable in it's attempt to be scary or something degrading. I did not like having to let it tell me what to do. That defeats the purpose of being a game...like when putting the clothes dummy back together, I couldn't just click on all the obvious parts until I first click the dummy again and again so it could tell me what to do. That for me, drags the game out and lets my attention deplete. Boring for me. But I understand after reading in the forum, there are quite a few who like this type of gaming. So I will recommend it.
Loved the story line. Going back to four different former lives. The very good quality of graphics involved the different time periods of each life. I liked that, it was very enjoyable. The games were very good, and some were down right challenging! I usually don't have a problem solving puzzles but one of them nearly drove me mad so for the first time in a long time I finally skipped it! But I am nothing if not determined and am playing it again just so I can master that puzzle challenge!!! The hidden object scenes were not too easy and not terribly hard. There is some interaction in most of them Over all this is worth the CE price and I heartily recommend this one.
The graphics are good, dark, gritty, and fits the storyline very well. The mini games were fun and challenging and some were very different that the usual ones we see in HOGs. The ending spooked me because this storyline is something that could very well happen for real in this day and age. Having to find health packs was a nice addition to the game play. Plenty of HOS and lots of interaction. There is a map that will show you where you are, but it is not the kind of map you can click on and go back to a scene. You have to back track but for me that's all part of the adventure. I enjoyed this one very much.
The graphics are good, the HOSs are tricky sometimes, which is fine by me. The over all challenge of the game was good, the mini games were exceptional on some of them. My only regret is not having a choice of game play. I usually play the "hard" mode because I like less hints. This has only one play mode. Other than that this game held my attention very well and I throughly enjoyed it.
Graphics are great. It's a long game so I appreciate the map so you won't have to waste a lot of time going back and forth to scenes. Plenty of HOS, with some variety in the scenes, which was nice. But HOSs are not the only place where you have to find something. The entire game includes looking for stuff and a lot of putting the pieces back together after you have found some items. Challenges are good but not too hard. I throughly enjoy this game and I am not quite done yet. The bonus play for CE has been intwined into the entire game. You can only access those areas with special CE keys. It is well worth the price of a CE! Lots to do and lots of enjoyment doing it!
I recommend this game!

Blood and Ruby
Use ancient magic, alongside your wits, as you hunt for your missing brother in a haunting city possessed by vampires!
Not my cup of tea. Kinda plays like a game someone is still practicing at developing for computers. For me the graphics are too cluttered and there is not much of anything challenging about the game play. I got bored real quick. But, all in all, it's a game, and it's better than nothing at all....I think. I will recommend it only because I know lots of others like this sort of HOG and it is certainly a HOG.
I recommend this game!

Dream Chronicles: The Chosen Child
Help Faye save her memories and family from the Fairy Queen of Dreams! Travel across multiple worlds full of magic and intrigue.
This is the best series I have played since I completed the Drawn series! Total fun for me, not having much in the way of hints so having to get those brain cells in gear and put them to work! The graphics are amazing, enchanting, and adorable! I am waiting on my new computer to be able to play the next 2 games of this delightful experience. I have seen some reviews say this is not a true HOG but, in my oh so humble opinion, it is truer than any other HOG because you literally have to hunt for just about everything in this game, and that makes it a truly hidden object genre! That is so much more fun than just picking items out of one screen shot, here and there throughout the game. I enjoy those kind too, but this series is exceptionally and exquisitely beautiful in it's entirety! I HIGHLY recommend it for sure!!! But only if you like to have to think on your own!
