For me, it was a waste of a free game coupon. Scenes seem to be all gray. Some puzzles had no skip and I had to keep using the hint button to solve it. The walkthrough offered no help at all.
Review based on completed game in casual mode. Animation/VOS - Good. Characters realistically drawn. VO for player occasionally. IHOS - Hate to sound like a broken record in these reviews but the usual fare of light to darker scenes, small to larger objects. You get the picture. :-D Lists but two to three items are silhouettes to be used to find other objects. Misclick Penalty - None Inventory - Locks in place. Many items stored. Hint - Slow charge. Gives clues and directions but I found it faster to use the jump map. Journal - Contains story, photos, clues, info and items found and map. Puzzles/Mini-Games - Very inventive. Did manage to solve a few. You will visit each location a number of times so a good pair of shoes is in order. When you click on the hint button, it will state "I must keep moving" and move you will. :-D The underwater scene was a refreshing change. So reel this one in and enjoy.

Review based on completed game in casual mode. Animation/VOS - Excellent HOS- Not interactive. Like most games, light to darker scenes, small to larger objects. First game for me to have a skip feature in an hos. You may receive at least one to three items for your inventory. Misclick Penalty - None Hint - Fast charge. Gives clues and directions. Acts as a jump map. Case File - Contains summary, evidence, map, tasks and diary. Inventory - Does not lock in place. Counted 19 items still left to use in other locations but have no fear. It all came together in the end. Puzzles/Mini-Games - Unusual and very scientific. Not the sliders, rings, etc. type. Less of these than hos. Moderate skip. Great game so hook this one and enjoy!
A famous actor has literally stepped off the screen to kidnap your niece. Now you must find a way into the dangerous and exciting world of the film to save her!

Review based on completed game in casual mode, the only way I play. :-D ANIMATION - Excellent. Characters very realistic. VOS - Excellent, even for player. IHOS - Fairly clear with small to larger objects. HINT - Fast charge. Gives clues and directions. MISCLICK PENALTY - None. JOURNAL - Contains story, notes, photos and map which does transport. INVENTORY - Locks in place. Items used quickly in other areas. Works with task bar. PUZZLES/MINI-GAMES - This part of the game is usually not my thing though I do enjoy some of them and even managed to solve a few. Moderate skip. BONUS CHAPTER - More back tracking so I did not finish it. Definitely a good game. Give it a try.

Review based on completed game in casual mode. Animation - Good. Characters were realistically drawn. VOS - Good but not for player throughout the game. IHOS - Silhouettes. Would have preferred lists. Small objects, some dark areas. Hint - Fast charge. Gives clues and directions. Map - Does transport. Works with hint button. Journal - Contains story and photos. Inventory - Locks in place. So much better than the popping up and down. :-D Items used fairly quickly in other scenes. Clipboard - Contains tasks to complete. There were phantom objects to collect but I don't get too involved in the bells and whistles of a CE. Probably did pick up a few. Bonus Chapter - Got about half way through it. More backtracking than anything else so I don't know how it ended. Still a good game. Enjoy!!

Review based on completed game in casual mode. Did not play bonus chapter. Animation/VOS - Good but not as much as I would have liked through the entire game. Characters were beautifully drawn. IHOS - Clear with the usual small to larger objects. Repeated scenes. Lists, find x # of same item. Hint - Fast charge for directions but slower charge after finding clues. Map - Does transport but I'm a huge fan of the hint. :-D Journal - Contains story, photos and notes. Collect and place photos to activate scenes. Puzzles/Mini-Games - Assembling and painting items, find parts and sketches. Slow skip charge. Collect gold coins in miniature houses. Great deal of backtracking so get a good pair of shoes. That circular stone puzzle really had me stumped. Glad for the SG and forum tips. Thanks for the help, guys.

Review based on completed game in casual mode. Animation/VOS - Good but not as much as I had hoped for. Perhaps the sequel will be different. IHOS - Lists. Fairly clear considering the storyline. Repeated scenes. Hint - Fast charge. Gives directions and clues. Misclick Penalty - None Journal - Contains story, clues, notes and photos. Map - Does transport. Tried it a few times. Inventory - Locks in place. Objects seem to build up to at least 12 items. Puzzles/Mini-Games - Some sliders and rings. Slow skip. I believe the devs decided to play up the psychological point rather than the games and hos. Found it to be very suspenseful and spooky. I'll be looking forward to the sequel.
