Review based on about 2 to 3 hours gameplay because it was about all I could take.
Animation/VOS - Not much that I could see in the short time I played.
IHOS - Clear and bright but items much too small. Two types - list and identify by shape. Character pop-ups were annoying during the IHOS to introduce a puzzle/mini-game.
Hint - Moderate recharge.
Random Click Penalty - Cursor turns blue and makes knocking sound.
I wanted to like this game because of the vampire story but just couldn't get into it.
Animation/VOS - Not much that I could see in the short time I played.

Animation/VOS - Excellent but I would have preferred more throughout the game.
IHOS - Different and challenging. Combine some items to make a new tool. Dark scenes but considering the storyline, not unusual.
Random Click Penalty - None
Hint - Fast charge, gives clues and directions.
Puzzles/Mini-Games - Unusual and challenging. Fast skip charge.
Diary - Contains story, photos, clues, etc.
Inventory - Items used quickly in various locations.
Played the previous Shiver games but this one is the crowning glory. Well worth the free coupon code. So everyone, throw in your lines and reel this one in. Happy gaming!!!

Rescue a young girl from the Penumbra Motel. Solve puzzles, unravel a long standing mystery of death and disappearances in this heart-pounding adventure game!

Puzzles/Mini-Games - Unusual than the norm. Found them to be, well, puzzling. :-) Did more skipping than solving. Slow skip charge.
Hint - Slow to recharge. States nothing to do here.

An old woman tricks Melissa into wearing a cursed ring that makes her go into an everlasting sleep. Use magical potions and spells to save her from the curse!

I enjoyed the other games in the Redemption series but this one didn't quite do it for me. Much too tedious.

There was just too much running around for me even with the map. Don't normally buy CEs for several reasons - the cost, too long and I'm not interested in concept art, wallpapers, collectibles, etc. Perhaps I should have waited for the SE without the bells and whistles. The extras don't interest me.

Something about this game just didn't click for me.
From what I can remember (after trying to play 4 games in a row), the animation and vos were excellent.
Random Click Penalty - Demon face appears briefly about every 5 seconds. Very annoying. That was enough for me. Since I'm a random clicker by nature, it angered me to have that thing in my face so often. Why devs feel it's necessary to have penalties is beyond me. I'm not engaged in competition with anyone. I want to be free to click all over the scene. The penalties slow the game down.

If you have enough courage to challenge the darkness, then you’ll manage to find out the mystery of the Rossolimo family.

I prefer animation and VOS from beginning to end in addition to a good storyline. I may give this game another try in the future.

I don't recommend this game.
Play as a clairvoyant detective and investigate the baffling disappearance of a carnival magician in this colorful Hidden Object game!

Haven't done a good job of choosing games lately. Caveat emptor. Can't remember much of it because I did not record notes as I was playing. Not much of a review here. Would be best to demo before you buy. That being said, I should follow my own advice, eh? :-) I always watch the short demo video and read reviews before buying. I rarely download the 1 hour trial version.

Just couldn't get into this game. Found it to be tedious.
I wanted to do something more than just pick tomatoes and plant seeds. Never did like gardening anyway. LOL
Perhaps it was the frame of mind I was in at the time. I do own this game after all and can try to play it again. Nice to have that option. :-)
