Nice concept but only one Play Mode and putting the mirror shards back together (jigsaw puzzle) was so touchy that I could not get the pieces just right (they did not lock in place). I'm an expert at jigsaws so I don't think it was me. Therefore I bailed. Sorry fellow reviewers, I really tried. Do not purchase without trying and the mirror comes up really early in the game.
I don't recommend this game.

3 modes of play. visuals very nice. jump map when needed. I can't believe there are no voices and you have to read everything. If there were voices I actually might have given this a 5 - something I rarely do. Too bad - I won't be buying this. I looked away from the screen for a second and missed what might have been something important. Note to reviewers: add favorite game so others can check them out, if you really liked it please share.

Only lasted 12 minutes. Play easy or hard. Find cobwebs/bugs to get $'s. Overclick = lose money. Have to click on Inventory bar to have it pop up. Map will transport. Has HINT = lipstick. I really don't see the purpose of this game nor would I pay money for it. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!!!!!

I love murder mysteries so I liked it, BUT not for everyone. It was more difficult than the last few I've played. It was nice to be challenged. There are 44 Stars in each locale, and 12 Morphs in HO - love these. And with the sale this weekend I'm buying it.

For excellent review see "AverageSizeFish". I BETA'd this 4/14/14. And am pleased with improvements. Tips: do select the Tutorial; watch Gargoyle's eyes to see if something can be done in that place; MAP has indicators also and is a jump-map. Unfortunately the visuals are grainy and it is SLOW. I would not pay money for this game but may use a PUNCH if nothing better shows up. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU TRY!!!

Daughter taken(yet again?). Gizmo to clear magic doors, 30 flowers/16 morphs, 4 modes of play, Lamp transports to another dimension, get Maria's pet to light things up, gypsy has answers, whew. Issues: no logic/continuity, I used jump map and still had to use Hint button to figure out what I was supposed to do. I'm sure the usual reviewers will give this a 5 BUT please try it yourself before you purchase. Way too complicated for my old brain.
I don't recommend this game.

Very strange game! TRY IT! Your on a bus, crashes, visions of young girl, injured driver, spooky Motel, many missing people, etc. Good transporter map with available activities. Collect dollar bills for later? HOS - you have to put key in box, etc. Hint button works well. Not my cup of tea and would not buy even at 1/2 price on retiree's income. I still recommend that you try it.

Usual reviewers gave it a 5. I have all the Parables except "Jack", also for the following reasons. This series has not improved technically since 2011. Briar Rose was the Best (even had morphs)! My Problems: Visuals are grainy (yes I have a great videocard)! Map does not transport (all other devs do even in SEs)! Storyline does not flow well, disjointed! I'm really disappointed with Blue Tea. I LOVED this series BUT Jack and this one won't be bought by me. Try it and see.

Characters do not speak! You have to read the text and it changes automatically. So, if you are a slow reader you don't get it all. I can't believe that with all the phenomenal games out there that this was released. TRY IT! If you want an SE game try: Nevertales: The Beauty Within. I bought and enjoyed this game so much I bought the CE too.
