This game would be good for beginners. There is a map, but it is basic. The storyline is good, but could be followed up better. Mostly, however, the game is exceedingly short. Had I known, I would not have bought it.
This was a great potential storyline and game. It did NOT live up to its potential. The game feels threadbare, crunched. It should have had more levels, maybe better back story. The pictures were not bright. (Even stories with dark backgrounds are/should be bright.)
It wasn't fun. It wasn't interesting. It didn't go anywhere. Yuck.
This game has poor graphics; everything is coated with grey shading making all the pictures look very dull and drab. Not to mention annoyingly hard to find the hidden objects. And each hidden object scene has tons of things in them. The quantity of objects actually is a plus as it makes the game challenging. There are a lot of hidden object screens; I am more of an adventure person, but when there are a ton of hidden object scenes it would be nice if they were varied into several different types of searches (shapes, number of items, create an object, etc) The so-called map is sparse and hard to read, a bunch of the landmarks are missing. There is much running back and forth. An interactive map would have been great, baring that a good map. There is no hint outside of the hidden object scenes. If help is needed you must go through the walkthru. As is, it is challenging but the follow through is terrible. I will not be buying the sequel and probably none other in this series.
This was a horrible game. It has no redeeming features. The plot is bare - just enough to get the protagonist into the game. The pictures are flat and colourless. The entire game is one giant HOG... there is nothing else. It's not difficult, and I'm barely past novice. I finished it because I purchased it, but I really wish I hadn't. I wasted my time and time with my dog. Seriously. Do NOT waste your money/free purchases/anything. It's not worth it.
I loved the story line (didn't know it was #2 of a series), loved the visuals, puzzles okay. Not too hard, kind of easy. I was playing casual. Only 2 problems with the games. The developers are very fond of matching, putting together, and other games of that sort. I didn't mind the first few, but they got tedious after awhile. I was ready - and the some - for a rest from the hidden object games, and I was lucky in that only a few were included. And the second was with the "help". It only told you what had to be done in any given room, and did not tell you or hint you what you needed to do in/for a puzzle. Very frustrating. Still, all in all, a very good game.
I recommend this game!

This game has the worst interface, The directional arrow is hard to get and have stay. Usually it just defaults back to the inventory. Very difficult to get to work. Also, there is a blue comment line above the inventory. It has no rhyme or reason for going away. When it's there, I cannot get any directional arrow. The only plus is that there is a map that allows "jumping" between spots.
The dialogue interface between characters is just plain weird and distasteful. I click through as soon as I can read it.
The plot, such as it is, is very predictable and seems to be just an excuse for the game.
This feels like it was made by newbees, and not good ones at that.
No walkthru to help, even though the only help needed is how to make one of the objects work. I was hoping that I was just clicking on the wrong spot, that it was very specific, but no, doesn't seem to be the case. (Working on this with tech support. The tech support here is great.)
I purchased this game largely because of the description and, more importantly, the reviews. I started playing it. I keep getting caught in circles with nothing to do. The "action" is difficult to find and very obscure. I looked on the blog. Seems that other people also get stuck for long periods of time, can't find items, have restarted the game multiple times. Items are missing. All in all, this is a very difficult game in that you know what you need, but finding it and then using it (you must click exactly the right part of an item, or it doesn't work) , well let's just say, that the game is not user friendly. There is no map function so if you can't refind a room, you are just stuck. There is no hint function so that if you are stuck, you are given a point where to go. There are items that are clicked and they have no purpose. All in all, this game is just frustrating and annoying, Don't bother getting it.
