I really enjoyed this game. A precious relic has been taken from Notre Dame and you play the detective trying to locate the object. There are a handful of major locations, but numerous areas to explore within each. There are lots of HOS to play, which is great. There are a few mini games that are fun. The graphics are nice. I muted the music, which is typical for me.
There is a map that comes in very handy. It shows which areas have tasks. There is also a journal which holds a lot o clues as you move through the game. The story had a satisfying conclusion and you learn some history along the way.
If you are looking for a fun old-school game, I highly recommend this one.
I recommend this game!

This is a great old-school game. You have a mission to collect objects and place them in the proper scenes to reunite the Pharaoh and his wife in the afterlife. You move back and forth between several locations, using a canoe to travel between them. You also get scenes in five foreign locations.
The graphics are acceptable, out-dated by today's standard, but not bad. The music is not good, but an be muted. The voice-overs are well done. There are lots of HOS and they are hard...which is great fun. The mini games consist mainly of jigsaw puzzles and rearranging tiles or columns/row to recreate a picture. They are fun to play and easy to complete. There is a hint system and you can collect pyramids along the way to add to the number of available hints.
If you are looking for an old-school fun game, I highly recommend this one.

I truly wanted to enjoy this game. I've enjoyed other games in this series. The game begins when you go to Lockwood Manor to save Jenny. The graphics are nice and the music is okay. I really enjoyed the HOS and mini games. The game started off with a bang and was very interesting, but there is a lot of toing and froing which became tedious. I lost interest before the end of the main game and didn't enjoy the bonus chapter at all.
There is a journal for notes and achievements you collect as you complete the game. There is a guide.
I would not recommend this game.

I really enjoyed this game. I've played others in this series, but this is my favorite so far. You play as a new HELP agent in search of shards from the Hope Diamond while trying to outwit the bad guys. You visit several locations and have a final adventure in the bonus chapter.
The graphics are nice, the voice overs are well done and the environmental sounds are good. I enjoyed the HOS which were varied and fun. There were also mini games that were okay, but not overly exciting. I seldom like the music in games, but this music wasn't bad. There are Smithsonian fact cards to collect, morphing objects to find and Smithsonian symbols to find. The only downside was the missing fact cards. I either overlooked them or the entire set was not in the game. The ones I found were very interesting. You have a combo journal, fact card list and achievement grid. There is a map, but I never used it. There is also a guide that I never used.
The story is engaging and keeps you moving along. The ending was satisfying. The bonus chapter was fun to play, but did not contain the fact cards or Smithsonian symbols to find. The other extras include pictures, video clips, music, HOS and mini games that you can replay.
If you want a fun romp of a game with lots of HOS, this is the perfect game!
I recommend this game!

I enjoy this series, so had to purchase the new game. You are helping the wizard build up a new area so he can grow a tree and extend his life. The goal of each match 3 is to remove all coins from the board. There are obstacles that consist of colored tiles, boulders, frozen coins, squares of dirt, fog and wood. The mini games consist of mahjongg and solitaire.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and highly recommend it for lovers of Match 3 games.

I enjoy the Labryinths of the World games and this is no exception. You start from Stonehenge, but go through portals to a world of fire and a world of ice. Your mission is to save our world from being covered in either fire or ice. There are lots of places to explore and a number of things to collect. This game has a lot of HOS's to play, which I really enjoyed. They are vary from pick list, story telling, combine objects and silhouette. The mini games are fun to play, some more difficult than others. You also have to watch for "energy balls," morphing objects, artifacts and statutes to collect. The game is beautiful visually, the voice-overs are well done and the music is not annoying.
The CE version comes with a diary, strategy guide, map, bonus chapter, videos, wallpaper and music. You can also replay the HOS and view the collectibles.
The bonus chapter carries on from the main game, but this time your sister has been kidnapped and you have to rescue her from the underworld.
I docked the game one star because the map doesn't always work. It is supposed to show you where tasks need to be completed and allow you to "transport" to specific locations. It doesn't always show you which locations have outstanding tasks which was annoying.
Both the main game and bonus chapter had satisfying endings.
Overall, I enjoyed this game and would recommend it for people who are looking for a longer game that has more HOS than mini games and like the fantasy genre.
I recommend this game!

This game is an old school HOS game. You are on a mission to find your lost brother. There are no voice overs, you read the dialogue. There is a diary page about each scene. There are multiple HOS in each area. You have to complete a task to end each scene and go to the next.
If you are looking for an easy to play, old school game with lots of HOS to play, this is the game for you.
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoyed this game! It is a visually beautiful game with acceptable music. The main game has three chapters. You begin the game by following your friend into the Leprechaun world to save her, then you end of working to save the last dragon in the world. The bonus chapter has you playing as Cedric the Leprechaun and occurs in an earlier time period than the main game. The ending to both the main game and bonus chapter were satisfying.
As you play, there are statues, morphing objects and Celtic crosses to collect along the way (with a helpful reminder at bottom of the screen when one was available to collect in a given scene). The HOS consisted of standard list type, finding objects mentioned in a story, finding objects by their outline and finding objects from a list, but each item in the list has one or more missing letters. The mini games were not overly complicated (which I prefer), but were fun to play.
The map allows you to jump between scenes and shows you were you still have items to complete. The strategy guide came in handy a time or two and is nice to have. There is a diary with a task list and notes. Lastly, there is a skip button, but I doubt you will ever need to use it.
The extras allow you to replay the mini games and HOS. You can also go through your Leprechaun statue collection and collection of faries (morphing objects). You also can replay certain video clips, listen to the music and view concept art. One of the fun extras is a garden where you can "spend" the Celtic crosses to buy things to complete the garden.
This is the first game I have played in this series. It is not an overly complicated game, which is a nice change of pace. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for a fun, fantasy based romp with some Leprechauns, a faun, some wizards and a dragon.
I recommend this game!

I really wanted to like this game, but struggled with the slow game play.Your father's been kidnapped and you have to find him. The game starts out fine, but quickly becomes repetitive as you go through level after level. You are searching for seven rings and your "helper" is a crystal ball.
The HOS are so-so. Some objects are almost impossible to find. The best HOS was a stained glass window late in the game. The mini games were okay, but some of the instructions were confusing. The other annoying thing was having to constantly "click to continue" to get through scenes.
The story line seemed good, but quickly became boring. The game had a rather abrupt ending.
Unless you are looking for a really slow paced game with a lot of repetition, I would not recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This is an older game, but quite fun to play. Dr. Blackmore is once again up to no good and you have to rescue his victims. You work through several levels, freeing a victim in each. This game is more "old school," but the HOS were fun and the mini games were varied enough to keep my interest. I enjoyed the story line. Game play is fairly linear, which is a nice change from some games.
You can select either casual or advanced play. The CE comes with a strategy guide, but I didn't use it. There is a note book that comes in handy a couple of times. The main game has a satisfying ending. The bonus chapter wraps up the story, which was nice.
If you are looking for a relatively straight forward game, I would highly recommend this one.
I recommend this game!
