I have all the dark parable series and I must say this on'e the best yet. I love how the storymakers take a silly bedtime story and making it into a serious, gloomy tale, all the DP stories are awesome. You would be surprised at how red riding hood is not just a helpless little girl anymore. Besides the story, the gameplay is just like the others in the DP series. Graphics are excellent as always and sound effects are more ambient this time giving a feel like you're in the game. I look forward to the next installment.
All I can say is WOW! I haven't had this much fun ever since Nightmares from the deep cursed hearts and Royal detective, lord of statues, this one out does and tops both of them. I love games with an excellent storyline, Gothic fiction Dark Saga has a well presented and well plotted story. I love how the witch takes people away, a really mean witch :) lots to do and the game is big and long, just the way I like them. Never a dull moment with Gothic. certainly one of the best adventure games ever to grace Bigfish's precence. After time runs out on the demo I'm getting this baby :)
What do you get when you mix Lifequest with Wizard 101? Magic life. This game reminded me of both since I play both and am a big fan of both, You live in a city, much like W101, you go to school, Work at jobs to earn money for courses, spells, equipment, potions, etc. and earn the right to participate in wizard duels to climb up the rankings. You even get to buy pets. The only con is that the game could have been a little more immersive. If they make a sequel, I hope the young wizard can fight monsters and LVLup as well as taking part in duels and other minigames. Overall it's an excellent game that's unique enough to stand on it's own. Certainly worth the buy. Hoping for a sequel.
This is by far, the greatest independent RPG I have ever played. I have been playing RPG's long before I discovered HO games and when it comes to RPG's I must have played hundreds, on console and PC alike. I have played from start to finish and It's very rare to see an RPG that reaches the level of good and high expectations and Skyborn delivers in all catagories of what makes an RPG great. Everything from the graphics, Awesome soundtracks, the threat battle system, and an in-depth storyline that keeps you compelled to know more about the world and keep you playing to the very end, You could actually feel for the characters because each has their own story to tell and the villans made you want to hate them. The gameplay was easy to navigate and well done, the augment system was a unique factor in the game that let you improve weapons, armor, etc. The musical scores really added drama to the game and battles and is very dynamic Kept me pumped up in battles. The ending left it open for a sequel which I hope they make. So hats off to the developers for making a true masterpiece. If this was made in the 90's for SNES it would have probably been one of the best sellers of all time. I can't wait to see if they make a sequel and top themselves. This is truly an epic RPG worth playing and replaying. Standing ovations and applause.
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
(based on demo)This game blew me away with everything it has, no dislikes about it. it even has an option for people with slower computers to adjust the quality, but since mine is fast I left it on high. The storyline had me hooked from the start. actors did very well in the voiceovers, and even the background actoins and background voices added more depth to the story. The HO scenes were unique because instead of sifting through a junkpile you had to use every object in the scene (I.E. throwing a baseball through a window.) making the scenes a lot of fun. The music was good, fitting for the story and the ablity to customize everything in the game, (hints, sparkles, ETC.) So if you're looking for a really good HO game with that real immersive atmosphere quality, this is it. The best HO game I have played yet so far. Will be buying this for sure.
(based on trial) This game has it all. Not only it is HO but has match 3 and puzzles and marble poppoer as well, includes Luxor 3 bonus. This game has everything. from an excellent storyline to nice HO scenes, top notch. I love how some parts of the game are unlocked as you go along, like playing for the hint in the first HO scene. the storyline is awesome and before I could find out what happened next my trial hour was up :( Will certainly be buying this one soon, this one's a keeper.
I recommend this game!

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart Collector's Edition
Dive into an epic journey as a museum owner in pursuit of an undead pirate who has kidnapped your daughter in Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart!
I just recently bought the collector's edition, am only looking for the best HO games out there. This one is very well done and it made me jump 3 feet out of my chair when I opened the pirate crate in the museum, all the cutscenes are excellent with a superb storyline, game is easily playable without being frustrating to the point of giving up. So if you love to be scared, the gameplay and storyline will keep you interested and rivited until the very end.
