This is one of those games that is worth buying. I absolutely enjoyed every bit of what I played. I play through on casual mode the first time( and I found the the puzzles challenging, which was stupendous.) I was amazed by the variety of puzzles I encountered, which really balanced out the HOs. All objects (even the ones I toted around for a while) in my inventory fit well with the theme. The art work was beautiful and the music great. I know I will return to play this game from time to time. It's one of those that just might be a classic!

I was looking for something different and found it in this game. It wasn't like most of the games you find on Big Fish today. I liked the way things were laid out and the story is fascinating. I actually found myself taking the time to read the journal entries, which told the story in more detail. Having Victor and Mary both there together is a very nice touch, different. And the tattoo is a fabulous idea.

The story 'grabbed' me from the beginning. I had to know what happened to 'my sister'. I soon found out as the scenes unfolded int crisp, clear beautiful areas. I found lots of puzzles to solve along my journey and at times, the HOS's objects were a challenge to find. When I couldn't find where to go I referred to the handy task list, or on rare occasions used the quick recharging hint. The netherworld scenes where a great concept, along with the use of the portals to the graves.Though seems creepy it didn't feel that way to me because of the beautiful scenes and the awesome music. This game is long but I enjoyed myself tremendously that it didn't seem that way. I can say I haven't liked a game this much in a long while.

I enjoyed this game. It was laid back. The graphics and music were really nice. The puzzles were good. The story kept my interest and was put together well. After playing the first two areas I found the captain/dock play time a bit short . Adding a little more to do would have rounded this area out nicely. Over all I recommend this game.

I hesitated to buy this but after reading the reviews I did. I can say I do not regret buying it. This story was put together very well. The puzzle weren't overly easy or hard. The graphics suited a run down asylum but the music was awesome because it didn't carry any creepy feeling. In fact, the music reminded me of an adventurer. So I highly recommend this game if you want an excellent story that breaks the mold of being set in a creepy old hospital.

This was a refreshing change after playing many adventure puzzle HOS games. I liked that I wasn't timed, so I didn't have to rush to finish the scene. The graphics were clear and good quality. I liked how the developers threw in the extra puzzles of the torn notes and clippings at intervals to tell the story along the way. I recommend this game for a casual, laid back, not rushed fun. Be sure to check out the whole series.

I liked this game. It was fun, though a little creepy in some areas. But still overall a nice, laid back game. I liked the concept of entering the books and changing bad situations into good karma. Everything flowed together well. And I loved the big doors humor, esp. when he asked Jane if karma had run over her dog! lol I do recommend this games and the others in this series. They are all good

This is a good game. I found scenes were easily accessible and limited to a handful of areas, which didn't really require a map that the game didn't have. Though some areas could be considered "creepy", I found that the brightness to the scenes helped take away from this. The music was also not creepy so this made the game more comfortable. The only thing I felt used quiet much was the HOS, but still this was something I can overlook because the rest of the game makes it worthwhile.

I've not played a game this good in a long while. The whole story was unique and kept me captivated. I played from start to finish! The cut scenes fit perfect with the story. The puzzles were not to easy on casual mode, which I loved. The artwork was beautiful...even the gloomy places fit in! I liked the way the developers threw in a couple of twists to the story. I can say this is a must play for a good story about family, love, and loss. And that if tragedy strikes that love can heal what is broken in the flesh and in the spirit life!

Boom Zap strikes again with 5 stars in my book. I really like this game. I found the story captivating and the puzzles not so easy but moderate. The scenes where awesome. Having to solve all the different puzzles to collect the flowers to power the locket to save Fiona was awesome. Collecting the hidden faeries was fun too. So if you like this game check out Boom Zap's other game Series. What I have played of them have all been great!
