Being a fan of Les Miserables I really wanted to like this game. Sadly, I didn't even make it 5 mins. into the demo. Way to much hand holding, can't stand the moving feet in the circles to indicate the directions you should go. Unlike the arrows that appear and disappear in most games, the circles stay visible and in your face.
If I had played this first, as a beginner, I never would have played or purchased another pc game ever!
I really enjoyed the interactive HOs and puzzles I encountered in the demo. Granted, this may not be one of the more challenging games I've played, but it is by far one of the best for pure entertainment.
I'm not going to rehash the story line, game in and outs, etc. (that's already been done, quite well, by others). I'll just say play the demo and see for yourself. This may not be for everyone but it's a definite buy for me.

I beta tested this game (Horrors and Fears: Deal with Death). I enjoyed the beta version and had it on my "wanted" list. However, after downloading today's demo...not so sure. The most glaring change is the developers have added "'cutesy" annoying cherub (angel) as the hint "guide" (It literally flits over to the object to be found). When not in use, it sits there, with it's in your face presence, swinging its feet back and forth. While I only use the hint icon on rare occasion, I'm not at all thrilled with this annoying new addition. Although, this may not be enough to keep me from purchasing the game, it definitely will have to be on a good sale for this to be a buy for me.

This seems to be a sad knockoff or prototype of Calavera: Day of the Dead (which I really enjoyed). This I hated. Didn't even make it through 5 minutes of the demo before it was uninstalled and placed on my "Do not want/buy list!" Not even a buy as a "free game choice".

Almost by passed this little jewel. Glad I decided to give it a try.
Even tho' this is SE, it has beyond/morphing objects, coins to collect and use in the "store", and relics to collect. The HOs are a little on the foggy(icy?) side. However the HOs can be swapped for rather unusual shaped jigsaw puzzle pieces. I had so much fun with the jigsaw I may not use the HOs at all in this game.
Although, so far this had been on the easy side, this is a definite buy for me.
I immediately downloaded the demo. Although this is my type of game, I only managed to make it through 15 mins. of the demo before I uninstalled it. Clumsy and slow to load. DARK, TINY, blurry hidden objects. The impression I had was this was game that had been shelved in the back of a vault, pulled out, tweaked slightly and hastily thrown into production. Try the Demo for yourself, but for me it's a no go.
Welcome to the Any Wish Hotel, where guests don't check out – they simply vanish! You've been called in to investigate a perplexing disappearance. Can you solve the case before you become a permanent guest?
At last, a car traveling down a road, without crashing! HOS: somewhat on the dark side which makes it hard to distinguish some objects, the HO list is in very small print and doesn't distinguish between objects in plain sight and those hidden in or under other objects. Playing in regular mode the hint refills quickly. Mini-games: the ones so far have been simple enough that even I could solve them, although there is a skip button available if needed. There is a map which shows you areas where you have been, HO & mini-game action areas. However, as the map is not interactive, there is a lot of back and forth travel between areas. So far, playing in regular mode, the game hasn't been overly challenging, but it's good for a laid back day. I suggest playing the demo prior to purchase and forming your own opinion.
