I like to play V. Families 2, and thought I would give this a try since it's a 2 for 1 weekend. For me the graphics are awful. There is no other way to put it. Big Fish has to start putting games to rest.
I don't recommend this game.

I did finish this game and at the end it just kind of kept going with no real end insight. I was totally puzzled when there was no ending. the fishing part did get to me, but I made it through. I can see where this could be challenging if you are having a hard time determining what to do. Keep it simple and you will do just fine.
I recommend this game!

I did not like this game because the great "National Geographic" put its name on this deal. If they knew just how basic this game was, well it would have been a no go. I was just so let down by my own expectations with regard to The Big Name Title. This might be fun for grade school to early teens.
I don't recommend this game.

There is no There, There. Thought this game would be like clue, but sadly NO. Graphics?-on my high end computer are very poor. Did not look at how old game is. Played tutorial for about 5 mins and that was enough for me. Children might like this game though. Teens and Adults - NO Way

So yes I own the pc version, and stick with that only. Clearly you have to purchase coins, or you will be passing your online version to your kids and so on. There are a few upgrades with the online version but hey, if you are only making $60.00 dollars a day and want to purchase a bed or even have a bedroom, good luck with that. Well I just do not see the point with this version. Pay the 6.95 and have fun with the pc version. Pc version you can set up several families and then you will be able to spend some time with the game. Just keep in mind this is a game that you play for a while and then come back several hours later. Unlike the online version where by the time you have enough money to buy more food or have a few towels in the bathroom you might be dead and passing everything on to the next of kin, that is if you can keep them fed, not sick, and happy. To be fair I can see where it would be fun to buy a bunch of coins and build, buy things, but the coins will run out some day. I am going to watch the game develope more and read some reviews from people who have played this game over a period of several months to get a bigger picture. With these game I love to watch people get some mention because today they were the big spender, WooHoo I was just taken for $19.95. Ok so I'm belly laughing right now.
I don't recommend this game.

Not a game for adults, just way to simple. Have no idea why there is a strategy guide. I rated two of the four as ok. I used the hint button just to move as quickly as possible through the HO scenes as fast as possible huge yawn factor. There needs to be a challenge level rating on these games. I'm just getting tired of these HO games that are thrown together for the quick buck. Apparently that is the big seller on this site so that is why there is 25(+or-) new HO games per month. The key contributors have me dumbfound here. Based on my skill level I do not recommend this game.

I have played many of these games over the years, so my review is based on what I am looking for in games. First I feel that less experienced players will find this game to be fun. There are quick rewards and progress. It flows along well, not a lot of twist and turns. There is ample help although most is not needed. I played the "Tri B4 U Bie" and will not be purchasing this game. See my checks above as I do not comment on those items often. Bonne Chance!
I recommend this game!

I am an experienced player, have used BigFish for many years. The game for me is simple. At this level I would use the hardest setting to make this game a challenge. There is an incredible amount of help. Strategy guide, Jump map, camera, journal and so on. Two game credits absolutely not. Once again I am stunned by some of the reviews by those who have used BigFish for quite awhile. Did game developers take advantage of the available technology they have at their disposal, not so much. For me the game feels as if it was put together to ride E. A. P. band wagon. I will state the story line is quite good it is a shame the rest of game is not. I am thankful for the "Tri B4 U Bie".......... "Bonne Chance"
I don't recommend this game.

I am having a bit of trouble understanding how this game is being rated so highly by seasoned gamers. For me the "tri B4 U bie" was simply to easy. If I would have used my magnifying glass during two of the Hidden Object scenes I would not have needed to use the hint button, #usually I use the hint button to move quickly through a so-so game.# Just lazy I guess. I did like having to put items back into HO scenes to complete a sort of puzzle, A bit like the game "Mouse Trap" if you remember that real board game. I also like having to change the scene by finding a way to alter it and having have to leave and remember to come back, or move back and forth to complete a task. Even this is getting old for me. I have rated this game on how it was for me to play. If you happen to be new to this type of game, it would be a blast. Again for me it was to easy. I like the challenge found in Large-File games, which is hard to come-by now-a-days. AnyWho. One review goes on and on about the visual/sound quality...yada..yada..yada, it is good, but it should be when I consider the current technology available to game artists/programmers. Still the characters lips do not move there is not a lot of body movement. The story line has been done to death in one way or another, it's like the game makers see a new thing that is hot so they bring it into their new games too. Based on how the game was for me it is 3 stars. I consider myself to be a High level Intermediate player #and horrific on a PS3# at times I still need to use a walk-through, and certain puzzle types I just can-not finish, just like chess, I cannot think far enough ahead to play at high a level anymore. I might have to just stop adding my $.01 cents worth of gibberish, so after typing all of this, the bottom line is this will be a fun game for someone who is new to this game format. I chose to try this game based on the reviews which is quite dumbfounding for me. I feel as if I was led astray.
I don't recommend this game.

First-if you are new to these types of games than this review will not be helpful, there is challenge to be found but only if a person is new to this kind of game.....Maybe I have played to many of these types of games. My favorite games are the large file games, they offer the highest level of challenge, which is why I came to BigFish so many years ago. This game flows well and offers some challenge, and yes the visual and sound quality is good/ok, but it should be considering how new the game is and where the level of tech is these days. I will say that they did UP the Hidden Object scenes to the point where I used the hint button, not because I just wanted to move through as fast as possible to get a so-so game over, but because I could not find the item. You will not need a walk through with this one. I was very happy to learn there was no jump map, because of this fact, I give the game a rating of 3 stars. Some might say I should raise my skill level, but there are times when I need to use a walk through or a guide. So based on this perhaps I might be to hard on these games, still this is how the game was for "me". I am stunned that the experts rate this game so high, not sure what that is all about, this game offers no challenge to an expert. (someone who uses no help period, which just my opinion)
I don't recommend this game.
