I had no problem with game loading or starting, and the hidden objects are ridiculously easy to find, so I see no need for a guide. BUT it is not worth the CE price! I have all of the Northern Tales games and they are some of my favorites. I do not really care for the new graphics, much prefer the older version. So basically a good and enjoyable game but just not worth the higher price. Very few TM games are worthy of being CE's. I will wait for the SE version.
Without a doubt this is the best game to come out of BF in many months. I am so sick of coloring book, solitaire, and match three games. Nothing new or interesting just the same thing, rinse and repeat. The Hidden object games that have been released are all basically the same, in some cases the same story line and tasks, or the supposedly remastered older game. You know touch up the colors a bit and tweek the old graphics and Wala you have a new Collectors Edition game. Bah! I have the originals not going to spend money an a duplicate. I'll just go play the old ones. The Hero games remind me of some of the old D&D games I used to play. They require you to think and remember, so they are a great deal more entertaining. Really enjoying this game, will replay along with all of the other Hero games.

I really love this game! Not really time management but a very good strategy game. It is truly a wonderful change from the constant barrage of cookie cutter games. You have some resource collecting and crafting but not a traditional time management method. I didn't research who the developer is but I sure hope they take the high ratings for this game to heart, and give us some more unique and fun games. It is well past time for game developers to step up their game. Developers for console systems have, example - Play-station 4, X-Box produce new systems and games almost yearly. They have to stay up to date to keep selling product, well so should PC game developers. I had pretty much stopped buying games but this one was a definite buy for me. HAPPY GAMING FOLKS!
Are you trying to compete with the penguins developers? Because these are getting just about as boring. Please some different characters and a much better story line. Some really like Helper, personally I can't stand him. I much preferred the Detective or even the one about aliens. I really like the Rainbow series mosaics but at this point I will go play one of the earlier ones.
I love a good mosaic game but 39 of the same thing is just too much. They have made a few changes over the years but not enough to get me to buy more than 3 or 4. There are other mosaic games that are quite frankly better with many more features, but everyone loves the little penguins. Sorry I am not one of them. This developer should try their hand at a different type of puzzle game, they do well in the graphics department. so use those talents in a slightly different capacity. As another reviewer wrote " I just get one of my previous mosaic games out and replay it, and it's like a completely new game". That is what I do as well. If you have purchased other games in this series just go replay them and save yourselves money. I do not recommend this game.
I love kingdom building games and really wanted to love this one, but alas twas not to be. The tutorial was incomplete, and the long lag time in response to any click was incredibly confusing. I had no idea what I was to do or how to do it. There should be a quest list of goals so you know what to do, and a guide to show you how in the first level. Graphics were lovely and I like the music, the dialog is just gibberish but that's Ok you can just turn it off. If only they had included a tutorial step-by-step I would have loved it. Now someone else may be able to figure out but it is beyond my this morning. So good luck folks.
I really did enjoy the game. The Inc. Dracula series is my favorite TM style game. I remember beta testing this game a while back and liked it then. I really wish they had done a Collectors Edition with lots of little things to collect. I really miss that in the Dracula games, and it would have fit in this game just fine. I think it was worth the little bit of extra money it cost for all of the fun it game. Yes dev's sometimes we actually like to spend a little extra. Over all it has all been said, a truly good game.
This is with out a doubt one of the best games I have played in a long time. I went and replayed the first two to help get a feel for the game play style before starting this one. It sucked me in and I had a hard time stopping to do other things, you know like eating, sleeping, etc. When I had to stop to take care of business I could hardly wait to return. I play a wide variety of games but really enjoy this style of game. It reminds me a lot of the old D & D type of games visually. I will be replaying this one many times in the future, and hoping for more from this developer.
I purchased this when it came out but only just now got around to playing it. I have to truthfully say I enjoyed it even more than the Hercules ones. I have them all and find them to be a lot of fun. I think that the story in this game was better, it just seemed to have more direction. These kids are driven to get home so there is a feeling of real purpose to the story. Where as with Hercules I always feel like I am bailing him out of just another poor choice. Oh and Hercules comes across as just to self-centered. I sure wish my kids had this kind of purpose and drive. Enough said, I do recommend this game.
This game in incredible I really loved it. just wish it was longer. I love the Adelanto trilogy and have played them many times, I have the Roads of Rome games and love them as well. I like being able to build where I want rather than only in designated places. It has more of a free flow feel, so the choices are all yours. The hidden caches are fun as always, the constant reminders are a bit annoying and really unnecessary. I generally play relaxed mode, but after my first time through I am ready to try the timed mode, (not as quick as I used to be). I sure hope they get season 2 out quickly!
