Review based on trial. Not so much a blatant copy of Vacation Adventures as the first one was. That in itself is a plus. Should it be labeled a CE? No, not in my humble opinion. Will I buy it? Maybe, if I get bored enough.
In a nutshell, great game! Interesting storyline, visually appealing, and a good time. I bought it before I finished trial. Very glad I did. Well done Elephant Games.
Ok. I have to admit, I didn't think I'd like this game. I reluctantly tried it out of boredom. Surprised in the best way! I made the purchase. I am not the reviewer who leaves no stone unturned in a review, giving you all of the minute details. I am the reviewer who tells you whether I had fun or not. Yep, had lots of fun. In fact, stopped mid game to write this review because in spite of the annoying music (to me anyway), this game is fun, has a challenge, and I didn't want to stop playing. Keep 'em coming!
For me, Christmas Wonderland is like putting on that favorite robe and curling up on the couch after a hard day's work. The Christmas Wonderland franchise need not change a thing. In this instance it's the familiar that I believe is so endearing to so many who love these games. It's Springfield! It's the mom wearing the same sweater! Yes and yes! It's the music that immediately takes me to a happy place! The cast of characters and extras that you see every year is like seeing old friends. I'm truly here for it! Thank you Casual Arts for staying true to the franchise.
It feels like every week there's a different Domini game out. I mean, seriously, how many times can you break a key by just touching it?! If I see one more thorny bush I'm gonna scream. There ain't enough cloth, gloves, rags, etc to get rid of all the thorns in Domini games! I am just over the redundancy of it all. Christmas Wonderland 12 where are you?
Review based on trial. Without a doubt, the most intriguing MCF I've played in a long time! I love the series, have every single installment. Visually, this one is above the rest. I was on the edge of my seat going into that lobby! I am most certainly making this purchase. Well done Grandma!
Absolutely, without a doubt, the most interesting HOG I've played in a long time. The scenes are beautiful. The music is captivating and the story is original. Hard to explain but I want more but I don't want more at the same time. It is perfection. Very well done Friendly Fox!
I've asked previously, "is this the end of GT?". After the last two installs, I'd say yes. Unless the authenticity of the series is returned, Richard for one, I don't see me purchasing this series anymore. Which is such a shame because it was an above average series. The storyline was always original and fresh at one time. Now, I'm sadly underwhelmed. Also, as with other CEs, it was too short. Again, I ask why this trend in short CEs.
Great series, good storyline, visually pleasant, and a good time! If I may, though, please developers when you issue a CE let's get some time with that. I don't know why this trend with short CEs. If I wanted short game play, I'd just purchase the SE. Do us all a favor and go back to making real Collector's Editions! So other than this game being too short, well done Friendly Fox!
Review based on trial. I'm not a dog person, but how cute are those puppies?! I know I've got a good HOG when I have to use a hint and the item is right in front of me! That's how well some of the objects are hidden. The locations are visually appealing, even the junker of a car. Yep, I bought this game and I'm glad I did. Love, love, love the magnifier too!
