I absolutely love this developer and have enjoyed the first 2 installments of this series. We have your niece phoning you for help because her boyfriend Stephen has disappeared in the forest. When you arrive, you see swarms of crows, well swarming :) The graphics are beautiful. The music is fitting and suspenseful. Dialogue is nice, not too chatty. There are squirrels and jigsaw pieces and characters to find. There are achievements to earn. The HOS are progressive in that you find one object to continue on to find others. There are mini games in the HOS. You get a journal with facts about the characters and a nice map. Looks to be a fairly long game. There are 3 modes of play to choose from. I always demo in casual so I can get as far as I can with the story. This looks to be an excellent game. It is my favorite genre and one of my favorite developers. If I had one small complaint, it would be that developers need to increase the difficulty of these games lately. This one is linear but all the other things make up for that in my opinion. I am disappointed that this game was released so close to the end of the month with my punch card empty. LOL I will try to wait until the First of February to purchase . Enjoy :)
I recommend this game!

I have NO idea what the object./purpose/use of this game is. You have 2 children, one goes into the sewers to fight rats and other things. You are also collecting treasures which I suppose are very common in sewers? I'm SMH and speechless over WHO would create this game and WHY. I do not recommend. I do recommend BFG take it off their site.

This game was cute. Story line... you are stranded on a desert island and have to build huts, clinics, etc. There were some HOG thrown in which were easy and kind of broke up the M3 a bit. The graphics were good, but for me, they were too busy. Too many different shapes, etc on a smaller board. I didn't care for it. I think it's a good game, just not my cup of tea :)

Very simple review here. Developers pay attention. Mahjong should have an untimed mode. No untimed mode.... no buy. I use Mahjong and Match 3 games to chill and relax, not beat a timer. I cannot recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

This game has men wandering into a pink shrouded lake and disappearing. Why? The answer lies in the game. Much better SE than it was as a CE. I didn't feel the CE had enough oomph to warrant being a CE. The colors and animation are terrific. Music is wonderful. HOS are very nicely spaced and the last item you find you need to use it to interact with other things. The mini games were original and not difficult. Even I was able to complete them :) The hint system works great if you need it. You do get a journal and a spectral collecting device. The map is done very well. Story is very interesting and kept me wanting more. Enjoy.

Your brother-in-law sends you a letter asking you to come to your childhood home where you met your now-deceased wife, promising to meet with you and your deceased wife. Hmmm. So off you venture in your horse and buggy and arrive in town to find mostly everyone gone and a green creature wreaking havoc. The people who are still alive tell you your brother-in-law (Emmett) is behind the murders. Score one in my book for the creepy storyline. HOS are list and interactive. If you choose, you may play a puzzle instead. I really enjoyed that touch. Puzzles were interesting, some very new. Most not difficult, but fun to do, and I am not a big puzzle fan. You get 4 modes of play including custom which I love. There are collectables such as coins to upgrade your panel (which upgrades the alchemist box Emmett gives you, your inventory and other things). You can also collect crystals to spend at the zoo (this one perplexed me... a zoo??). These crystals will bring your animals to life. I found the game to be challenging. More out of the box than the usual games we see and I applaud the developers for that. I love non-linear thinking. The graphics were perfect for me. Painted, bright. There are no voice overs with the characters. Short dialogue to read instead. I saw in some spots that English did not appear to be the native tongue of the writers, but I can overlook that. This is one of the best games I've played in quite a long time. I definitely recommend.

The 3rd in the Myths of the World Series is a definite winner. I enjoyed the first one set in China. I did not like the 2nd one, but this one more than makes up for it. Eipix is my favorite game developer. The visuals and graphics, sounds, voice overs, colors, are all done to perfection (except for the bright pink bald eagle beak :) ) The HOS are fairly plentiful. I saw list which were interactive and silhouette. The mini games ranged from easy to medium in difficulty level. You are called out to a Native American cultural center where odd happenings are occurring. You have an amulet which glows when it can be used against animal spirits. You are also given a pair of binoculars to see (duh) things far away. You have a jump map, a journal listing your objectives and including a diary. There are 4 modes of play including custom. Game play is fairly linear. This is not a game for experts. There are sun signs to collect, a bonus chapter, a souvenier room, replayable HOS and mini games, wallpaper, etc. The only gripe I would have is that Eipix may want to start increasing the difficulty level of their games. Besides for that, this game is informative and is quite the visual and auditory fest :)

This is a bright vibrant game. You are helping a shaman on a tropical island. Game flows nicely. Story is good. It is a FROG and that's where my problem comes in. I'm not a fan. However, it is a good, long game for those who enjoy fragmented object games.

I've had this game for awhile. Always have liked it. I keep it on my desktop to play on and off. It gets pretty difficult toward the end but not to the point where it's frustrating or impossible. Plus it's set in a spa... sighhhhh :)

This is a wonderful IHOG with some adventure thrown in. The story line is good and easy to follow. It is not a difficult game, nor are there many bells or whistles. It also has quite a few HOS, more than I usually like. I suppose it comes down to enjoying the story line of the game. It's on the short side (Maybe 3 hours?) but it's 3 hours of fun.
