Love Chronicles - Salvation Collectors Edition..SWEET GAME

First a tip of the cap to a couple of reviewers who spoke my mind: "purring ginger kitty folks", "Sanford and Son junkpile" (nice analogy), and to Reviewer Nilosh, who wondered rather forlornly at the quality of today's CE's. Caused me to pause and think - yes, CE's should be more than just the "standard" stop-drop-and-roll of wallpapers, music, concept art, and (sometimes anemic) bonus play, though that was not the case in this game.
Having said that, I purchased the CE (heh) and I found it quite delightful. I loved the colors - they did fine on my compy and weren't "washed out". I was especially taken with the colorful animals and attention to detail. Extremely creative and well thought out. It is clear that the developers took some time with this offering.
Game play itself was fine. Very smooth, no hiccups, and the music was gorgeous. The best I've heard in quite some time.
For the reviewer who wanted to hear about what others thought of the end of the game: The end of the main game was done well. I wasn't left hanging and *having* to go to the BC to find out what happened (I don't like that either). Concerning the BC, I thought the story direction itself was quite good, however, I found it to be a bit short and the end to be a little abrupt (I would have liked to have freed my friend myself). I was a little sad that they wrapped all the loose ends up and handed me the package. Less programming that way, though....
By the way, I noticed that someone forgot to translate a direction - it was still in...Russian? Forgive me, I have a hard enough time with Englsh! :oD It had to do with getting into a door I believe and when you click on it to see what you needed to open it, the explaining text appeared in ...err...that other language. That only happened once, and I figured out I needed some sort of amulet or something to get the door to open. ;o)
Overall, this game was very good and I am glad that I purchased it. This set of reviews, though, is quite thought provoking and I hope that all developers take note.

Evil witch is changing maidens into glass maidens, looking for the real Cinderella in order to revive her beloved. She kidnaps a young maiden looking for her now glass sister... Quite a fun story and a bit of humor too, the tea served is blue for instance ;) Good game, good story, good graphics = instant buy !
Maybe they could make a game using the little mermaid..hint hint...

After my disappointment with the last game "legacy tales:mercy of the gallows etc." I was ready to play something better and this game was great! I loved everything about it. The story line was very inventive, the graphics are wonderful and the voice overs, music, mini games...well I told you I loved it. :) I have played hmm 200 games plus or minus and this one is up there with the best I have played. Worth the buy in my book. Kudos to the creators...waiting impatiently for the next game lol
I recommend this game!

This is a wonderfully crafted game! The devs put a lot of hard work and ingenuity into the making of this game. It offers fantastic visuals and a great storyline...definitely a must buy!!!

Wow .. this game had all the bells and whistles. Not one but three different collectables...ten cards, ten pictures and turning on 10 lights. Awesome. I love those. Plus it had at a huge number of achievements to achieve. Gives the game lots of depth. It also gives you motivation to play every HO scene without using a hint. and helps you to slow down and really look around the room before moving forward. Add to this a very interesting storyline, real actors with some good VO's and a long game and you have a recipe for success. This young woman's rich and famous father had an affair that came back to haunt him. He then tried to solve the problem in quite an unusual way. Now the daughter has come for revenge. Very interesting, very entertaining, great looking, smooth playing game. I loved it!!!
I recommend this game!

Midnight Mysteries are the best, it is proved once more!!! Unlike other big games, like Mystery case files for good example, Midnight Mysteries never disappoint me! They are only getting better. It seems to me that these are the only games that pay attention on the quality of the story and the gamers experience. You can see that somebody really worked on this game and put some effort in it.
I recommend this game!

This is a fun loving and interesting game for any Hidden Object lover and great for Edgar Allen Poe fans! It really made you feel sad for Poe..But avenging his story brings a smile to your face..A must have! Great Game!

If you like a good ghost story, you will like this game. As in other "Midnight Mystery" games, you are a detective who has to solve a crime committed in the past, . In doing so, the souls of the victims are able to finally rest in peace. There are a few h.o. scenes, and some in between puzzles to solve which are not so hard they make you frustrated. There are a few times when "things" jump out at you, catching you off guard, which makes the game more fun, and plenty of ghostly activity, along with a great story line. The game has definite replay-ability, especially if you don't find all the ravens and clovers in the first round. There is also a bonus to work for, which I wont tell you about and ruin your fun . The sound effects are very good and fitting for this game, the music is dramatic and also fitting. Good scenes, good graphics, very nicely made game!!!
I recommend this game!
